On arrival at the airport there was 1 desk with several people of different "rent a car" companies behind it were all the tourist were lined up.. we stood at the back of the line and waited our turn. When it was our turn it seemed we were in the wrong line as Wiber was working out of the back of a car. In the Netherlands we booked the car WITH full insurnace coverage. However the lady from Wiber said we needed to get either a new insurance for € 124.00 or she need to block € 1000.00 on our credit card. We showed her we had arranged and paid for the insurance but she did not want to know about this. After paying € 124.00 we received a key and had to look for our car. Than she had no time to do a "walk around" the car to look for damages....and there were a lot.... the lady yelled something in spanish and walked away. When we had to return the car, we received an email with a new location (not the airport). When we arrived at this point, there was another car also looking for the Wiber location. There was nothing.. no people, no sign, nog flaggs.. nothing. When ik called the number.. i got a guy on the line telling me it is in the back corner of a parking lot.. without any signs of Wiber. We than had to wait for a transfer to the terminal.. which was not there. When it arrived, it was the same lady we had on arrival at the pick up.. her shift was up so she walked away and we had to wait again for somebody to drive the shuttle. Due this we nearly missed our flight.

Avoid Wiber Malaga Airport at all costs. They scammed my out of €163. I stupidly booked them as part of a Ryanair flight booking and did not Google the company before hand. If I did, I would not have touched them as there are many negative reviews online. The price quoted for 6 days for a small car was very keen. I now know that the business model is to quote low for basic rental and then to force / convince their customers to take out very expensive Collision Damage Waiver Insurance and, if the customer does not take the insurance, to get the money from the customer by "finding" alleged damage to the car. The onboarding experience was not good - a 20 minute wait at the airport for a transfer coach to the depot and then a 40 minute wait to get the car due to only 2 staff dealing with a long line of customers. They tried to sell the CDW insurance but I declined as I had a car hire excess insurance policy. They took a €700 deposit from me in lieu of their CDW insurance. The voucher listed 3 damages to the car, including front bumper. The damages checked out - there was the tiniest paint chip on the front bumper. I took pictures of the car before heading off just to be sure. I drove for 183 kilometres in the car - all dual carriage way driving except for the few km to a villa and then two trips to golf clubs and the return journey to the airport. The driving was uneventful - absolutely nothing that could have caused an iota of damage to the car. On returning the car, the Wiber employee spent 10 minutes carrying out a forensic inspection of the car. The first thing that he did was lay on the ground and look under the car as if he knew what he was looking for. He found some small scratches to the plastic under the front bumper, probably caused by a kerb, that I did not do and which looked as if they were there for a long time. He said that he had to charge me €121 for this damage. There was no arguing - even when I pointed out that the booking form listed damage to the front bumper. He found a mark on the wheel rim and said that he had to charge me for that but luckily that mark was visible in the pictures that I took before leaving the depot on day one - so he failed on that one. Then he found an almost invisible smudge on the wing mirror and said that I did it and it would cost me €42 to fix. It was a very rude and unpleasant experience. You have been warned. Don't be taken in by the cheap basic price.

Poor Customer Service. My daughter emailed to say out flight had been delayed into Ibiza. It states that if you are after 11 pm there will be additional charges. Fine. However when we arrived just after 11 pm there was no one or no car at the collection point. My daughter has a disability and this was a disaster. The office did not respond to telephone calls or email VERY POOR customer service. Avoid at all costs . We ended up getting a taxi to our hotel. 😡

Do NOT rent from this company. First off, they are not at the airport. They claim there is a convenient shuttle. There is not. You’ll wait forever for it to come and when it does it only seat 8 people! The driver will randomly select who goes with no regard for who was there first or waiting the longest. The first guy was really rude and wouldn’t accept our word that we were there first. “Yeah, I’m sure you were all first,” he says. Wound up waiting three more shuttles to finally get on one. The shuttle takes a good 20 minutes to get to the actual rental car. Worst part is that they don’t open until 7:00am so if you have an early flight, you’re screwed. There is no drop box a no shuttle. Because they didn’t tell us this, we wound up having to cancel the car, suffer through waiting again for a shuttle to take us back to the airport and get a car from one of the many companies that are on site. Had to pay a LOT more because now it was a day-of rental. Save yourself the aggravation, rent from a major brand at the airport.

Wiber is an absolute scam. They will tell you on arrival that you need to purchase additional insurance which will double the bill. They will not show you to the car or help you to work the sat nav. If you have a breakdown, they are very unhelpful. We were left stranded. Finally, after you bring the car back, they will charge additional costs to your credit card without agreement. Please do not use this company.

I recently had the misfortune of renting a car from Wiber and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The shuttle system was a chaotic mess with no proper lines or organization, leaving customers confused and frustrated. To make matters worse, there was a complete lack of assistance when taking a ticket, resulting in me being handed the wrong one. By the time I reached the rental desk, I was told I needed to start the entire process over and wait an additional 45 minutes. After waiting for a total of 2 hours since my arrival in Palma, the inefficiency and incompetence of the staff became abundantly clear. The level of service provided by Wiber was nothing short of appalling, and I would strongly advise against using this company for your car rental needs. Absolutely disappointing experience.

The price you pay online is not the real price. They charge you an extra insurance fee that’s almost 3x what you already pay. Do not rent from them!

The total cost went wrong with 350 euro. Alicante airport, they tried to convince me to buy an insurance even telling me that they do many invoices daily. I told them that I dont have a scratch on my automobile in 15 years and it will be safely parked. They gave me a car hit everywhere. On the report was written rear bumper hit, so I didnt checked it too much. I found several scratches which were not in the report, but it was said that they are to small, they dont care. I left, nothing happened to the car an I returned the car. When returning tgey checked the car ad they found to small scratches on the bumper which was already mentioned as hit obviously ancient scratches which were less than 1 cm each, but they came with a new rule which was not communicated... if two scratches fit in a square than they the 1 cm rule doesn t apply. I talked with the manager. When I was alone with him at the car he admitted he bealives I didnt do the scratches (they where visibly old), bht he has procedures. This are the useless people they have because cannot decide anything even if they see evil, they go with it... so they charged me 350 euro for a already hit bumber in several parts and they probably feel good about it, because they will have their cut from Wiber. They are cheap initially, this is how they fish customers from which they steal money. If you arrive late, the light to check the car has low intensity.

Car was excellent and pick up drop off easy. HOWEVER. I hired the car through Ryan Air which was excellent value. Wiber at reception then told me I needed to take out additional insurance to cover any minor damage etc which would not be covered or disputed by Ryanairs insurance. If I declined I had to leave an 800 euro bond with them. I was told a 1 cm scratch to the paint work would be deducted from it at 300 euro!!! I dug my heels in and checked online for alternative and found a top up insurance for 150 Euros at which point Wiber offered 250 euros for a walk away deal. I was really disgusted with them. Its a clear con so I wouldn't hire from them again.

Warning to All Travelers: Stay Away from Wiber Car Rental. I must warn everyone against using Wiber Car Rental, led by the extremely arrogant Ramiro Chena Aldasoro. Watch the video to see how he treated us. https://youtu.be/vAs3EYNdwU8 We booked a car through RentalCars and intentionally paid extra for full insurance. When we went to pick up the car, Ramiro informed us that their company does not accept RentalCars' insurance, and we were pressured to pay an extra €170 for their coverage. If not, they would hold €800 as a deposit and charge us €300 for any small scratch found. This was highly inconvenient since we had already purchased complete insurance. Since it was late at around 8 PM and we were with our 2-year-old child, we felt we had no choice but to take the risk with the deposit and the possibility of extra charges for any damage. After payment, Ramiro pressured me to rate 'his attention' immediately in front of him. Not comfortable with the situation and considering his intent on getting more money from us, I rated him 7 out of 10 stars. From that moment on, he started to act like an arrogant fool. He simply handed me the keys, a paper with rental information, and a child seat, then sent us away without any guidance. The office was empty, and given that we had lots of luggage, we asked if he could help us carry the child seat to the car. He arrogantly replied that 'he is not our bachelor.’ Then I told him, with such attitude, I would now give him an even lower rating. He just laughed in my face, saying I could give him a zero; but it was too late. Finding the car in the parking lot, we checked the rental agreement and saw that it listed five pre-existing damages. We were supposed to report any further damages online before driving away, or else we'd be charged for them. There were many more damages, and time was already against us. Additionally, due to the darkness, we struggled to fit the child seat, which seemed incompatible with the car model provided. I found instructional video only, but it just didn’t work as expected. With the situation worsening and our son tired from the journey, we returned to ask Ramiro for help with the child seat and damage report. His arrogance intensified, as seen in the video. He rudely told my wife to ‘SHUT UP’. When I just asked for help with the child seat, he snapped a nonsens reaction that 'he is not responsible for my child.' His rude behavior was clearly a reaction to the lower rating. We feared he would ensure any opportunity to charge us for non-existent 'scratches'—a tactic seemingly typical for Wiber, as other reviews suggest. I don’t see any point in such rating system if they treat people who give them lower rating like this. After all this, my wife and I decided to cancel our rental. That's when most absurd situation happened, Ramiro Chena began ignoring us and refused to cancel our reservation because I confronted him with that I have his behavior recorded on the video. He got clearly scared and said he'd cancel only if I deleted it. He left us sitting there for an hour with our tired child, ignoring us completely. His two male colleagues present in the office behaved just as ignorantly. Eventually, I made a backup of the video and deleted it from my iPhone in front of him. He even demanded to check my iCloud and deleted videos folder, clearly worried about his superiors seeing his actions. He even let us leave on foot with our young child and heavy luggage, refusing to offer us a lift to the airport. All this happened on the 5th of March, 2024, between 7:30 PM and 9 PM. Contract number 90255403. Managers of Wiber, you can watch the camera recordings to verify this. I'll say it again: Ramiro Chena Aldasoro should not work in customer service. I advise everyone to avoid Wiber car rentals in Palma de Mallorca.

Awful service Awful service - dirty car - they will keep your deposit for weeks and not reply. The car had liquid pored all over it, they refused to change the car. When I returned it and took a video of it, the worker thought I was recording him (as if) He was shouting and refused to allow me on the shuttle to the airport he snatched the phone from my hands and even after seeing the video (all that was visible was part of his jacket from the back!) he walked off and we were treated like thief's, shout at etc It was the worse experience of my life. And despite me writing all down, they ignore my complaint. I also asked them to check the CCTV cameras but of course it's easier for them to ignore the complaint. I send all the pictures as well. I also tried to get in touch during the stay as I thought the online service was better than the onsite but no, one worse than the other. not worth saving money to get this service. they ruined a special time in Palma de Mallorca. Pity

Reading the other reviews, there is a common denominator here, and that is Wiber are conducting unethical if not corrupt practices when hiring a car. I have a current complaint running. I decided to go through my credit card company to resolve this charge of £355.00 for damage which I did NOT CAUSE. I also have private car insurance for this. I chose not to claim through them, as this would have meant that I was admitting to the damage. Where there hiring process is fundamentally floored (and for the life of me I do not know why nobody (Solicitors have challenged it) 1. When you hire a car from Wiber, they tell you that they are aware of damage to that car and provide small sized photographs, highlighting this. They then advise you taken photographs yourself. 2. No Reprensative comes out with to you to point out the known damage. 3. This part is important, which I failed to do, and that is to ASK when these photographs were taken of the pre existing damage?. So, for instance, If the photos were taken let's say three days prior to you hiring the car. THEN extra damage could have been caused by some way or the other before you hiring the car???. Photos these days are dated. Even if they were taken on the day of your hire, ask what time these photos were taken, as again damage could have been caused prior to hiring. 4. In my case, on returning the car. I was told by the representative to wait in the office whilst he inspected the car. He returns 15 minutes later, and surprise surprise he has found undocumented damage. Now at this point I went to Dev Com 3. I exploded in anger telling him in no uncertain terms that the damage WAS NOT caused by me. I am aware that the representatives are on a bonus scheme if they find undocumented damage. That in its self can lead to unethical and corrupt practices by the people that work there? So, I asked this, representive WHY he did not invite me out to inspect the car in my presence. He just shrugged his shoulders. Again there is an ideal opportunity for this person to damage the car himself or assisted by another??. All the damages found on this car ???? were on the blind side of me to where i was standing in the office, the car was 50 yards away. There is no continuity what so ever of recording damage by this company. If this is not resolved by my credit card company I WILL be forwarding my complaint and others on this site to a Watch Dog consumer programme, as these procedures MUST CHANGE to protect the customer.

Shockingly poor car rental company. We have rented cars worldwide (Avis, Sixt, Hertz, Enterprise, Budget, Europcar, Alamo etc) since the mid-seventies and Wiber are by far the worst we have ever used. We were initially pleasantly surprised by the competitive price at Mallorca airport and happily booked a car for 2 weeks. I took out CDW insurance in the UK but on arrival were pressurised into taking theirs out as well, left under no illusion that if we didn’t we would not be covered in the event of a puncture, or breakdown. On collection, we realised that we needed to pay for an extra day because of departure flight times. Reassured that we could easily do this by phone, and would get a better day rate this way, at any time during the course of our holiday, we set off for our holiday. It proved impossible to contact Wiber again by phone, so my husband drove back to Wiber the day before we were due to return the car. Not possible it seems, to extend, because we booked with Booking.com. In the end we returned the car a day early, caught a taxi into Palma and the bus back to Sol de Mallorca. I am relieved that we did take out their insurance, because it well-documented in online reviews, that if you don’t have their insurance, returned cars are checked microscopically and thoroughly, including underneath for dints and chips and credit cards charged accordingly! I believe that this company needs a visit from the Officina del Consumidor. We will never use Wiber again and have cautioned all our friends who regularly visit the island to choose another option.

What’s happening with Wiber, Alicante?? We’ve used this company a lot over the last couple of years with no problem at all. Great staff, good prices, no hard sell & not fussed over tiny marks on the car on return. However they are letting themselves down with the transfers. We waited 30 mins to be picked up from Alicante airport to be taken to their office & then another 20 minute wait to be served. 6 desks & only two open. It’s February- what’s going to happen in Summer?? Not sure we’ll be booking Wiber again 😩

A guy called David at the front desk in ibiza office is very rude and he doesn’t know how to treat the customer. I think he should be fired. Your policies are not clear and I’ve renting a car with my credit card a few times and had no problem and now this guy called David is leaving me without a car. So unprofessional and bad attitude. The worst company ever
