“Received an offer of Priority Boarding before our return, decided to go for it. Fishbourne–Portsmouth. Experience: We ended up as the third last car on the ferry. We even alerted the guy at the check-in when all the other cars were prioritized before us... He had given us a striped sign to Ben placed on our front window. Entering the ferry one of your employees asked us about our dangerous cargo... which she told us the sign said... Not priority at all... She had never heard about priority boarding. Very strange experience. Why do you offer a service which is unfamiliar to your dock employees?”

“The service from Portsmouth to Fishbourne has a good frequency of ferry sailings, but the cost of taking a car to the Isle of Wight is so high that I am unable to visit the island as frequently as I would like to do.”

“I've always used Wightlink to get to the Island. From time of booking to actually leaving the ferry there has never been a problem. The dockside workers and crews have always been helpful.”

“Arrived early and yes I could take the earlier ferry which was not even half full. So why make me pay extra 15.50 pounds. It was already expensive as I could have gone to Dieppe out of Newhaven cheaper. Use some discretion and be more competitive in these days of hardship. Ronald Bailham (travelled 7-10 July)”

“With an easy access to Lymington for us, an easy web site to use, and given space on the Ferry, gives a chance to leave or depart on an earlier or later Ferry should circumstances permit. A pleasant crossing with a coffee and and a sandwich, with approachable crew all makes for a good trip. If I had a complaint, it would be the cost of the crossing.”

“I come to the Isle of Wight every 2 to 3 months and always use Wightlink. I think they are a great Ferry Company, always well organised, very clean and friendly too. It is sometimes a bit expensive but as some of my family live on the Island I need to come.”
