“After wearing barefoot shoes of different brands for the past year, I lucked out and was able to try Wildlings on in-person in San Francisco. The assistance I got was wonderful - respectful, attentive, no pressure, and it was obvious that the person helping me is passionate about these shoes. It was a great experience and I'm thrilled with the pair I purchased (Tanuki Niji) while considering going back for more. The fit and feel is amazing, and l've worn the shoes every day without any adjustment period necessary. They're so light and so comfortable! Love my Wildlings!”

“Love every pair of shoes and sandals I’ve bought! They fit as expected. I have even bought pairs for my kids they love them, and I can hopefully help their overall foot health. Thank you for stylish and very functional shoes.”

“Great ethos and shoe materials. Very innovative. Too bad the shoes are very narrow and cramped...they shouldn't be marketed as barefoot shoes. Quite misleading.”

Thank you for your review. It's great that you like the values and purpose of Wildling. Wildlings are made from very soft and flexible materials. This means they adapt to many different, individual foot shapes - but not all of them. Wildlings are minimalist shoes: They have a wider cut, no heel and are made of particularly soft materials. “I haven’t worn my new Wildlings for long yet, but they are comfortable if you want/like the barefoot feel of minimalist sandals. They also have a unique style covering toes from being scraped (and if you didn’t get a pedicure recently! lol). I already received a few compliments on them. I appreciate the Velcro strap which helps adjustment to foot width. However, I they were overpriced compared to other barefoot minimalist sandals.”

“Surprisingly light. Extrodinarily comfortable. I did buy one size too large, but they still fit acceptably. I have Vivobarefoot and Xero Shoes in 44 (US 11) and ordered these in US 11 (Wilding 45 - old measuring system 44). I think 44 is my size in these shoes, but I erred on the large size secondary to my intolerance of tight toes. So far the size is close enough that I did not feel the need to exchange.”

“I ordered a pair of the Tanuki Kitsune's in size 10 US. They fit and feel perfect for my feet. I have Plateau shaped toes that fan out fairly wide, with a narrow instep and heel (what Anya at https://anyasreviews.com/ calls a 'Low Volume' foot. I used her Shoe Finder site to locate brands that make shoes that fit low volume feet like mine. They recommended Wildling shoes. It is extremely difficult for me to find shoes that fit really comfortably, but these Wildlings have surpassed my highest hopes. They fit perfectly and weigh nothing. I also try to purchase only from companies that are doing their utmost to support re-generative sustainable practices and Wildling Shoes impressed me. Thank you for all your hard work and fore-sight in creating such an amazing, good looking and functional product. I will be recommending you and buying many more. Thank you.”

“Good option for light use urban or street shoes. But aren't the most appropriate for more technical applications or outdoor environments. I would like to see them develop more institutional knowledge of the needs of professional users. Also cut it out with adding membranes to everything.”

“I love your shoes. But getting the right fit is a cumbersome experience. I bought a pair of nebulas last spring, size 8 and they fit perfectly. I bought a pair of boots in the fall, size 8, and they fit like clown shoes. The 7.5 size of the boots is still a bit too big but I wore them with socks and they were kinda ok (I should've returned them and got a size 7 but it was kinda over it). Knowing that the nebulas fit well as a size 8 i ordered a pair of kune naturals in size 8 but they too fit like clown shoes. I'm going to return them and order both a size 7 and a 7.5. I'll return the pair that doesnt fit. I wish that your shoes ran true to size. Regularly returning them sucks up too much time and increases the carbon footprint of the transaction. Are you ever going to open up a store in NYC? I know you have one in San Fran. I'd buy several pairs at once if i could try them on. Quite honesly, unless the kunes are spectactular, this might be my last shoe order from Wildings. And this makes me sad because I like what you do, how you do it, and i love your products (when they fit).”

To find out which size you need in Wildlings, you may use the size-finder: https://us.wildling.shoes/pages/size-finder Besides, the Customer Service team is happy to assist you to find the size that fits you best: https://us.wildling.shoes/pages/contact You may always get in touch with them if you have questions regarding the fit of a certain model or anything else regarding Wildlings. “I absolutely love my Wildling Shoes. I own 7 pairs. Some for the office, some for physical activities, some for warmth. My feet and legs have felt so good this past year. No more aching legs. Sleep better at night. I have worn a lift boot twice in the past 1.5 years and I can feel it right away. I can’t say enough good about them.”

“I’ve wanted a pair of Wildings for a long time, but hesitated because i couldn’t see them in person, try them on, and they come from so far away that the purchase felt permanent. I finally just took the leap and i couldn’t be happier! They are really great looking, so comfortable, very minimalist (exactly what i was looking for.) I just blindly trusted the sizing instructions (i followed the directions to measure my foot on a piece of paper then measured it) and the size (while not a size i would normally wear in US sizes) is perfect. The shipping (i live in the western US) was insanely fast. (I can’t get anything faster on Amazon prime where i live.) I couldn’t believe it. I love supporting a company with ethical values. I’m very pleased, the only problem is that now i want more.”
