“I love your products and customer service and have started buying pairs of your shoes for friends when I can afford it. I've tried several other brands of minimalist shoes and they either fit poorly or started causing pain for me within a few months. Thank you for the service you provide.”

“LOVE my new Tanuki Yoru shoes! All my Wilding Shoes are extremely comfortable, but the construction of these and the materials are next level. Very breathable and lightweight, and fast drying.”

“These are some incredibly comfortable shoes. I wish I knew about them sooner! Using the Fitkit I got the perfect size and shipping was lightning fast. The shoes are very well made and the website gives you plenty of information about what goes into your shoe so you know where the materials are from and how to take care of it. I'm really looking forward to my next order! Only thing I found inconvenient was some of the shoe care accessories aren't available to ship to the US and Canada but that's more of an NA issue rather than a Wildling issue so no points deducted!”

“These are the best barefoot shoes in every aspect. They’re beautiful and comfortable at the same time. I almost wish I had bought two pairs of my first ones in case they wear out. Fortunately after about 8 months of constant use, they are still looking great! Vielen Dank!”

“All I can say is I wish I had ordered shoes for myself sooner! I transitioned my kids to barefoot shoes last year and spent most of last summer barefoot or in minimalist sandals. By the time it started to get cold I didn’t want to spend the money on a warm pair of shoes for myself, so I tried to get by with my doc martins and Nike tennis shoes. I absolutely despised wearing shoes at all because it felt so uncomfortable! Finally bit the bullet and made a purchase from wildling, and I could not be happier with the shoes! So comfortable for any occasion and I’ve gotten tons of compliments on them. I have a wide toe box and find them a little tricky to slip on without loosening all the laces. Once they’re on, they form perfectly to my feet though and I feel so free!”

“These shoes are gorgeous, with ethically sourced and beautiful materials and a laudable mission statement. However, even with the goal of being a "barefoot" shoe, they are still too narrow and low-volume for some feet. I've been wearing exclusively barefoot-syle shoes and sandals for going on 2 years, and my already wide feet have become even wider as they strengthen and recover from a lifetime of restrictive footwear. I really hope Wildling can adapt and begin to offer wider, more high-volume-freindly options in the future, because I will be ordering some as soon as that happens!”

While it's anatomical shape and soft, flexible materials do work for a variety of feet, it's not the right match for everyone. “Figuring out sizing can be tricky online, but Wildling goes above and beyond to try and simplify the process. My first pair ended up being just a little too large, thankfully they have an easy return process for your first order. I'm based in the US so working with DHL for return shipping isn't the greatest (they're more streamlined in other countries) but overall not bad. My replacement pair is the perfect size and I've never loved putting on a pair of shoes so much in my life. I'll be ordering another pair when the weather warms up and take these with me everywhere I go.”

“I think the shoes would be great but... My first purchase, I followed the recommendation to go a half size bigger if I wanted to use insoles ...which made them too large and needed to return. I encountered 4 different failures with return online and had to send an email to customer service. And the replacement shoe I wanted was out of stock. So you lost a customer because of all the hassel!!!! AND ALLLL THE TIME IT TOOK. I did purchase slippers as a gift and she loved them!”

“My Wilding Shoes -Tanuki Yoru Size 10 exceeded all my expectations in comfort after only a very short break-in period. From all the shoes I’ve ever worn these are, by far, the most natural feeling when it comes to materials used in their construction and in the way the unique design allows my feet to make contact with the ground. So far I’ve been wearing my Tanuki Yoru oftentimes all day around the house and occasionally on long walks outdoors. I highly recommend investing in a pair of Wildling Shoes. Wearing them has only been a positive experience.”
