“I tried giving it 2 stars but it never went through. It’s not worth $400 for this block plane. Buy veritas or Lie Nielsen… the quality you expect is just not there for clifton. Maybe its just because its Thomas flynn now”

“I really, really wanted to love this plane but there was just too much I cant look past for a $400+ block plane I had to wait 10 weeks to get. This seems more like a $100 block plane to me. Pulling out of the box I noticed right away that the appearance of it was much to he desired. It looks more like a returned hand plane than a new one. The cap iron has chips out of the wood and the brass has deep tool mark scratches on it. When checked on a surface plate, there is a high spot right behind the mouth that the plane can rotate on. There is brass dust stuck to the japanning that that also has small chips in it. The adjustments on it are not smooth and it’s tricky to get set right. I just expected so much more for a plane this cost. You would be better off buying a Lie Nielsen and a Veritas and still not cost as much as this plane. I love Clifton planes but this one hurt.”

“I've been using the ISOTunes earbuds for several months now. The sound quality is fine, but there is a feature that causes the headphones to start playing when they are pulled apart. I frequently go to put my headphones in only to find that they have been playing for 20 minutes! I basically have to turn them off every time I take them out. I got my pair on sale for $25 and am willing to put up with it at that price. I would not pay full price.”

“Not worth the money - whatever came with your saw is just as good. CONSTANTLY needs to be squared. Pretty bad overall. I regret this purchase.”

“Great apron for woodturning. I love that it comes up high enough to keep shavings out of my shirt and cinches down small enough to be a slim fit that's out of the way (size 2 dress and the waist cinches down small enough to give a slim fit). The turning smocks I've tried are too big for me, and the sleeves are a potential hazard during turning. I'd rather that the apron didn't have pockets, but this has less than most. Since they aren't held on with rivets, I may take my seam ripper to them one day if they collect too many shavings. The material is thick but has enough flexibility to not be obtrusive.”

“Quality is not there for this T-Square. Off by 1/16 of an inch, which may not sound like much, however when you are building out of wood you really need measurements to be correct. Also this is made in Taiwan and looks like it is powder coated aluminum or very poor quality anodization. I would recommend looking elsewhere (Red Tool?) for a better quality for not much more.”

“The screw “nuts” appear to be stripped. They are not. There is so much slop in the cast ( not machined) pocket that they set in that you have to put wooden wedges behind them to use them. I returned mine. DO NOT PURCHASE.”

“For small work this plane is for me, perfect. Light, fits in my hand well, cuts crisp thin shavings without chattering. The screw thread on the depth adjustment is quite fine which gives a great range. Always brings a smile to my face using this plane”

“When assembling the saw I found that the table was warped and the extension wings were perfectly straight so that they would not match up along the mating surfaces. If I lined them up with straight edge front and back the middle was miss-matched 0.004 inches on left side and 0.006 inches on right side, both enough to catch a board or work piece sliding across the table. When I called tech support I was told that the tolerance for the table was 0.010 and that mine was within tolerance, and that I should line up the center and use clamps etc. to pull the front and back into alignment. Not possible as any attempt to do so would just pull the center out of position. I was able to Draw-file and block-sand the mating edges of the wings to match up so that work will not catch on edges and it will now work okay but not what I had in mind when I bought my expensive new saw! Also I found it next to impossible to start and tighten the mounting screws for the switch box using the 4 MM hex key so I removed the angle from the hex key and used a 4 mm socket on the shank of the key which worked perfectly. “Great store, not the cheapest but if your after quality and great advice from people who actually have experience in actual woodworking not what they learned from a book or reading B/S on line then this is the store to go to.”

“Purchased these inserts to make bottle stoppers. These are supposed to fit perfectly into a 1/2” hole, well I used Woodcraft 1.2” bradpoint bit and used my drill press to drill these holes. In reality these inserts are slightly smaller and don’t fit well, even with the epoxy don’t think these will work…time will tell.”

“These are high quality casters. The only thing that would make them better is a optional back support metal plate for those of us that are installing it on a custom bench.”

“Woodcraft does not stand behind their sale of Rikon Tool products. Neither company will honor warranty of Rikon 80-808 grinder. Will never buy power tools or machines from Woodcraft.”

“I use these for my leatherwork when I'm gluing. They are very strong and better than anything on Amazon. The rubber dipped tips can come off but I just glue them back on. I would recommend these for leather work or any small projects.”

“Just tried this product for the first time. This may be the best wood filler I have ever used. It applies easily and sands great. I am using this on a wood model. The surface will be painted, so I can't speak about how well it sands.”

“The concept is great, but both couplings are 2 1/2. That means that you have to buy another coupling to fit the device. Woodcraft sell the adapter (flex cuff) for $8.99, why was it not engineered right to begin with. I would not recommend this product.”

“I am giving this product one star however, I am not reviewing the product but the description. Nowhere is there any specification of the dimension of the interior part of the track so the customer knows what size "t" clamping device will fit. There are different sized tracks and different sized t-clamps available which need to be matched up when ordering. Woodcraft Corporate surely knows how to measure things they would provide those measurements in their product descriptions.”
