These work okay on a smooth floor also got the bed extension and light kit These work well also would have gave extra stars if I hadn't had to wait 5 months for them to arrive. I will never purchase a back ordered tool again

Let me just say, I love General Finishes Oil based stain. But the water based stain is crap. I have been doing wood working for 35 years. 17 of the those were spent a s finish/licensed carpenter. I have stained more doors, trim work and custom installs than I can count. Recently I began a buffet for our dining room. The colors my wife picked out ( I only showed her General Finishes color chart) came only in water based. Now I have to admit, I have very little experience with water based stain. But I thought if I am going to do it General Finishes is the way to go. So far I have applied and sanded off the water based stain three times. This stuff dries so quick, you can barely get it wiped off in time before it dries. I live in Michigan so dry climate is not a a factor. I ended up with rag marks, overlap marks , you name it it showed up. This if after I watched the General Finishes “7 common problems with water based stains.” I know you buy purchase a drying retarder from General Finishes, but honestly this should have been added to the mix to begin with. It’s not like there stuff is inexpensive. Also I find that the water based stain really muddies the wood grain, which is my favorite thing about General Finishes Oil based stain is how clear it looks. To some it up, I will never use the stuff again. Save yourself some heart ache and use there oil based stain you will save time and money.

Customer service is nonexistent for this $2,400 piece of equipment I purchased. It’s frustrating because I can’t even see if the other reviews are even accurate because the accessories kit didn’t arrive with the main unit. It is LITERALLY a two and a half thousand dollar PAPERWEIGHT. SCREW YOU WOODCRAFT.

I bought this product about two months ago, well worth it, it is sharp and gets the job done.

The wood that I got was garbage. There was a crack with a void running the whole length of the board into a third of the board making it useless to me as I need the entire board, not 2/3 of it! I can’t believe you would have the nerve to send your customers such garbage!

The pen looks and feels great. The clicker is made of plastic and doesn't take the press very well. It cracks in the middle and then it won't click and hold.

Purchased the ProEdge Sharpening System and added the ProEdge Woodturning Kit (a must). Totally fantastic, easy and accurate each time you use it. I have a shop full of sharpening systems that I bought over the years, they are all going to be sold or given away. By far, the Sorby system is the best, seems expensive but worth even more. If you use gouges a lot in your turning do not hesitate to buy this product.

I Purchased this unit two weeks ago. I'm a woodturner in a small very dusty workarea. The unit provides a positive airflow to prevent dust from entering the helmet. The filter/battery assembly has led indicators for battery life, and 4 speeds adjust airflow. The helmet is well constructed. The fit of the helmet and face shield is very comfortable, with no discomfort after wearing it for four hours at a stretch. I Hardly notice it. The filter unit is like a fanny pack on an included web belt centered to the back. The face shield has minor distortion, making me a little Wozzy at first, but I've gotten used to it. The battery is easy to remove for recharging. The filter is easy to replace. Just snap off the cover, replace and snap back on. As of today a replacement filter is not available from Woodcraft. They directed me to Peke Safety for purchase. I placed an order, and found out that they obtain the filters from Europe. The manufacturer is on vacation, so filters will not become available again until mid-September(2024)! They are also quite pricey - $50. each. After two weeks of use there is hardly any dust on the filter, so replacement is expected to be infrequent, I hope! So far, I'm pleased with the purchase.

An absolutely great place to learn. acquire tools or accessories. But most of all.. the friends that you get through out the years by just going. Most of my Festool gear is from Woodcraft. And now they provide the Xtool F1 laser.

This is not so much about Woodcraft as it is about Ebony. To work and avoid tear out and chips, your tools must be kept extremely sharp and take your time slow passes and zero clearance plates small bites, and if needed a spray bottle of water. Then pray you've done enough to protect it while cutting. After that you can shine the wood up through 5000 grit and it will shine like glass

I have these on every tool in my shop but a word to the wise, remove it before drilling metal. Had mine hooked-up to collect metal shavings and have to pick each one off each magnet individually!

Quite an awesome little Bandsaw chocked full of extras which are standard equipment. It just might be better than my 14” Jet w riser block, Carter roller guides etc. If I remember the Jet was around $1700 w extras and the Baleigh comes preloaded with even more extras, nice fence system, light, 2 speeds, nice large easily adjustable table, roller guides and stand and I was fortunate to get it on sale for $299 and yet worth the full price😎

Magnets need to be stronger. Great concept, but a bump of the hose can cause it to fall off. If the hose can be supported it is helpful. I am using a small spring clamp to hold it better,

Purchased 2 1/2”x 3”x 24” primavera dimensioned boards and 1 is warped and twisted so badly it’s unusable. The other is not as bad but sub par indeed. The store near my home closed so I was hoping I could still buy wood online but this is not acceptable. Tried to upload photos and a vid but kept getting errors.

I tried giving it 2 stars but it never went through. It’s not worth $400 for this block plane. Buy veritas or Lie Nielsen… the quality you expect is just not there for clifton. Maybe its just because its Thomas flynn now

I really, really wanted to love this plane but there was just too much I cant look past for a $400+ block plane I had to wait 10 weeks to get. This seems more like a $100 block plane to me. Pulling out of the box I noticed right away that the appearance of it was much to he desired. It looks more like a returned hand plane than a new one. The cap iron has chips out of the wood and the brass has deep tool mark scratches on it. When checked on a surface plate, there is a high spot right behind the mouth that the plane can rotate on. There is brass dust stuck to the japanning that that also has small chips in it. The adjustments on it are not smooth and it’s tricky to get set right. I just expected so much more for a plane this cost. You would be better off buying a Lie Nielsen and a Veritas and still not cost as much as this plane. I love Clifton planes but this one hurt.

I've been using the ISOTunes earbuds for several months now. The sound quality is fine, but there is a feature that causes the headphones to start playing when they are pulled apart. I frequently go to put my headphones in only to find that they have been playing for 20 minutes! I basically have to turn them off every time I take them out. I got my pair on sale for $25 and am willing to put up with it at that price. I would not pay full price.

Not worth the money - whatever came with your saw is just as good. CONSTANTLY needs to be squared. Pretty bad overall. I regret this purchase.

Great apron for woodturning. I love that it comes up high enough to keep shavings out of my shirt and cinches down small enough to be a slim fit that's out of the way (size 2 dress and the waist cinches down small enough to give a slim fit). The turning smocks I've tried are too big for me, and the sleeves are a potential hazard during turning. I'd rather that the apron didn't have pockets, but this has less than most. Since they aren't held on with rivets, I may take my seam ripper to them one day if they collect too many shavings. The material is thick but has enough flexibility to not be obtrusive.
