“First, a big thank you to Ricky who has been exceptionally helpful and quick to respond. Second, I am thrilled with my new bedding. Purchased a new mattress and entire bedding set (pillows, covers, etc). There was no smell, and I was struck with how CLEAN everything was, upon unpacking my items. We've had a Tempurpedic for the last 10 years, and I hated that mattress from the start (smelled terrible, like chemicals). I truly believe it has been a contributor to my illness, plus, I was unable to sleep and had incredible hot flashes that woke me nightly. I've only had the wool bed for about a week and noticed that I am already starting to sleep again! I'm no longer woken incessantly from the hot flashes, and can only assume I'll soon be feeling better all the way around, because I'm no longer being poisoned every night. Sleep is a good thing! I remember that now! 😁 Thank you! Thank you!”

“My husband, newborn baby, and I really enjoy our new mattress. We all sleep very well on it and after several months it's still holding up (no sagging). We ordered the king size with medium tension deluxe wooly mattress and both my husband and myself find it very comfortable. Enough give to be comfortable on the joints but still support your body nicely. I had trouble with payment as my credit card declined a few times due to fraud protection (it charges to the UK). However, this company did an exceptional job of handling the situation. After I talked with my bank to get things cleared up on my end, I received an email from an employee and then the owner himself offering to help. I went ahead and called the number provided and was helped by a very kind gentleman named Ricky over the phone who was able to answer all my questions and place my order successfully. I was very impressed by the way this business is run. Seem like honest, genuine folks. I had no issues with shipping, it actually came a little earlier than expected and arrived in good condition. Would highly recommend this mattress and this company. Great people, great mattress. See pictures of unboxing.”

“I searched a long time for the right mattress topper and tried a few different types from reputable bedding companies; all to no avail. Then, I stumbled across the Wool Room. I was extremely intrigued with their one-of-a-kind topper which combined springs in microcoils topped by a layer of wool. It was on the expensive side but I decided to go for it. Bottom line? I am incredibly happy with this topper. It is so comfortable and provides superb support. It is just right for my needs. I unhesitatingly recommend this mattress topper to anyone searching for one.”

“I ordered the deluxe winter duvet (11-14 tog) to replace a duck down and feather duvet and can honestly state to have had the best sleep in years. It’s not only consistently warmer, it’s also lighter. Given the ‘WHICH’ review online which advertises wool duvets as ‘other’, I would highly recommend this over any other type of duvet. Thank you for your first class service! (It also brings me peace of mind because the duvet is an ethical product.)”

“Super-quick delivery, and the packaging was good too - only ONE plastic delivery bag, and a free pillow-sized, zipped calico laundry bag as the next layer... pillow is delightful, and I especially like the fact that you can remove or add filling...I realise I should have opted for the skinnier version as I like low pillows, but at least I can remove some filling and use it if it compresses too much over the next few months. I do want to say that I think £60 for a pillow feels a bit steep, but I appreciated the 20% discount I found. Its only because I really loved my wool duvet that I wanted a pillow which was also cruelty-free. I love the fact that nobody had to die for my bedding! Not everybody can afford to support their beliefs around animal welfare...wonder if that might be considered if you ever slant advertising towards vegans and animal-safety-aware populations? I also appreciate that you've spent a lot of effort investing in your washability project...a big deal, and thank you for explaining it so clearly on the site. Sorry to leave such a crazy-long review - great stuff! x”

“After suffering many a sleepless night on our tired old mattress myself and my partner decided it was time for a replacement. As we were still on lockdown an online purchase was our only option so after much consideration of various stores we decided on an Oxford 9000 from the woolroom. We have previously purchased winter and summer duvets and were happy with the quality so was sure that the mattress would be another great buy. We were not disappointed it is like sleeping on a cloud. Everything went smoothly with ordering and the delivery was carried out without a hitch including taking away our old mattress for recycling. Very happy customers 😊”
