The delivery service used to be excellent but has deteriorated since Royal Mail has been abandoned for free delivery.

My Wordery orders seem to take longer and longer to dispatch and arrive. But to add to that, lately I've even received dispatch notifications and "unfortunately been delayed" messages about items I've already received. Wordery usually isn't the cheapest option, either. When I thought I could rely on the delivery, I was happy to pay more than competitors' prices. But not anymore, especially when there's a deadline. I don't plan on ordering Christmas gifts from Wordery next year. All of my orders from other companies arrived on time, but not from Wordery.

Wordery were fine but the carrier you are using are appaling. I received numerous contradictory delivery times. On a Friday they told me that they would deliver on the next working day which I assumed to be Monday. This was the 3rd different notification I received. They then turned up on the SATURDAY at less than 90mins notice. Needless to say I was not at home so they came back on the SUNDAY!! You need to find a more reliable courier.

There’s nothing wrong with wordery at all but my issue is with your courier. It’s a nightmare getting anything delivered and there’s long delays. I’m not sure I’d shop with you again knowing it will be challenging trying to get anything delivered

5 books were ordered to the same address & it took 4 separate deliveries. Doesn't strike me as very efficient or environmentally friendly. Why not consolidate into one delivery? Also, each time there was a delivery, the book that was being delivered was not mentioned, so no idea what was on its way.

Excellent product at a competitive price. But the positives were dimmed somewhat by the delivery being carried out by the woeful Evri. The parcel was left at my front door on a wet day, not in the designated safe place, and on the day after I had waited in during the delivery slot I'd been given.

The delivery service was VERY poor. Parcels were left on the doorstep in the rain by the courier who did not knock on the door. The packaging disintegrated when picked up.

The book was a bit disappointing when it arrived, but I realise that was not your fault. It also took nearly a month to arrive - I know we have had postal strikes but even so that seems excessive.

The delivery service is poor - it took several days from the receipt of the order to start processing it and then a further 'up to' 4 working days to get it delivered. Without the delay in processing it would be fine even the 4 days to deliver is OK - though your couriers not providing tracking does not help -

The book, packaging & delivery time were spot on. However the delivery firm left the package outside in the rain despite us being in. Luckily I found it before the book was damaged.

Can't accurately review just now as I'm currently awaiting a returns refund. Delivery was prompt although packaging was a bit too small for item.

My reservations were because you use Evri to deliver, they are rubbish, for some reason they will not knock even when they know you are in and the proof of delivery is total fabrication

You did yourselves no favours with this order, placed on 11 December. Your courier Evri emailed me on 17 December to say the order was at their hub, and the tracking facility showed that it was at their local depot on 18 December. On 22 December it was still not out for delivery, and I contacted you to let you know. On 29 December Evri emailed at 13:33 to say that the order would be delivered between 13:00 and 15:00. The delivery took place at about 16:30. Also the package was not in great condition. Much of its exterior was contaminated with an oily or greasy substance. I hope this is an isolated case, but I would suggest you monitor your courier's performance closely and consider changing to a more reliable alternative.

Ok but not sure why a book "in stock" ordered on 3rd Dectook until some time after 18th to arrive. Email communication was patchy and at times confusing: some books were on the way then disappeared off the next email.

Satisfied with product and delivery, however i ordered 2 by mistake . Not Satisfied that I have to pay for the postage to return 1 of the items . Obviously a mistake on my behalf but to be financially penalised is harsh
