“Unfortunately the beautiful outer casing of this book was so dented that I could not give it as a present. I decided to keep it for myself. I think that because of the damage , it was reduced as I now Know that Ian Lawson never allows his very expensive books to be sold at a lower price. Such a shame and as turns out , a very expensive one !”

“I think Wordery is very good. However, you could improve: - by using Royal Mail (unionised staff) instead of a courier company (gig-economy workers on zero hours contracts) - you could ask people if they want their orders delivered all at once, or items delivered separtely (I have ordered presents and then the books are delivered separately, but I would rather than were saved and arrived simultaneously). Thanks for asking.”

“The whole process was quite easy but promise of delivering the day after was not achieved. It took many days to receive the package. As I complained , they checked what was happening and decided to reimburse me the amount of the freight as a good gesture which I appreciated.”

“The price of the book was very good however it arrived later than specified and the cardboard packaging was soaked through with no plastic protection on the book.”

“My son will is benefiting from the book, recommended by his maths teacher. However your delivery system was not the best as the package was literally drop into the recycling bin located at front of the house. It was by chance that my wife found the package as she was throwing out recyclable rubbish.”

“8 days to deliver a book is too long... and the lack of tracking by “the delivery partner” meant that I had no confirmation from them that it had been delivered.”

“Speed and efficiency of the service were very good. My only complaint is that the courier you use leaves parcels on the doorstep and doesn't even bother knocking. Books, etc could easily be spoiled by rain or wind, or could easily be stolen. Please change your courier or I won't be ordering from you again.”

“Unfortunately my book was damaged despite being packaged well. I suspect as this was a special order it may have arrived damaged to Wordery. Had to stick all the corners with sellotape.”

“I wasn’t that impressed by the book but the main problem was the weight. I planned to ask a friend to take it to Australia but it is too heavy. As you don’t offer free returns it will probably go to the charity shop; return prices were too high to bother.”

“Quick delivery but could do so much better with packaging. The box was unnecessarily big compared to size of book, which probably contributed to why the parcel was delivered with a small puncture. The extra space in the box was filled up with some scrunched up paper, which doesn't really provide adequate protection. The book itself came with a minor damage on the spine which isn't really a problem but is annoying to know when it's supposed to be a gift for someone.”
