“Sadly the books were a smaller size than expected. I think if book sizes are smaller than standard it should be highlighted.”

“I sent a report as the book was damaged. your response was prompt but then when I was unable to use technology to send pictures etc I felt dismissed. It seems you only value customers who can use technology! I am disappointed as in the past I have recommended you to others, now I am wary”

“Wordery is competitively priced and efficient up to the point of delivery. Unfortunately, their couriers are abysmal with the latest purchase not arriving until nearly two weeks later and then left balanced on top of the gate post. Maybe a change of courier should be considered?? Five for Wordery but a big zero for their courier.”

“The prices are great, but I ordered a book on the 28th November, it wasn’t shipped for over a week and now it has been stuck with Evri for ages. When I emailed about it your replied saying to email back of it hasn’t arrived in 3-5 days, which isn’t great considering how long I’ve been waiting. A Christmas present will now be late.”

“I have always preferred to order from Wordery rather than bigger on line businesses. However sadly the packing, despatch and delivery times were too slow with this and I had no idea when or if it was coming. Arrived some weeks after order. Love the book though!”

“There were five books in my order and they each came separately making it very hard to keep track of during this time of uncertainty for the postal service. It meant excessive packaging was used because each book was in cardboard. One of the books was a miniature book but this was not clear from the website although as was pointed to me when I complained the size was in the small print.”

“A reasonable service. For a time Wordery use to be consistently cheaper than other booksellers and at least as good in terms of service. However, it is now often not the cheapest and I have experienced delivery issues, e.g. a book ordered on pre-order was not dispatched even after it was published - it wasn't until some weeks later when I realised I was still waiting that I checked and phoned up that it was shipped.”

“Books are always has described, but having to go off-site so that I can read a synopsis of a book to check if it's exactly what I want/need is ridiculous, also delivery times are painfully slow, it feels that it's an attempt at blackmail to use the paid postal service”

“Range of books available and prices are good. The delivery company in Australia is dreadful. My parcel sat in their warehouse for a long time, they lied about attempting to deliver it (I was home all day), they didn't leave a card so I only knew they "tried" by checking the tracking info, then I had to spend the best part of an hour on hold until I could find out where it was and how I could get it. Won't buy from here again until they change their shipping company.”
