“I was surprised at how long it took for one of my books to arraive”

“It took weeks for the books that i ordered to arrive instead of the 5-9 days and some of them looked a bit bashed about when I opened the parcels. I have ordered from Wordery before and have always had a great experience, but sadly not this time:(”

“I was trying to order 14 copies of the same book and struggled to do this without assistance from your customer services team (who were brill). However when the books turned up they were individually packaged which resulted in the most enormous waste of cardboard I've seen for a long time and four of the books were damaged.”

“The book showed up in good condition and was priced reasonably. Unfortunately shipping took about 3 weeks. In this day and age that just seems absurd to me. I needed this book for a college class and its prolonged shipping period affected my grade.”

“I waited about 8 weeks for the book. First there was a supply problem then I had to email to see what was happening to be told there had been a mixup with my order and it would be dispatched soon”

“I was happy with the book but very disappointed that it did not come within the time frame suggested and I had to enquire twice only to be sent a standard response and then the second time to be told it would arrive approx a week later than expected. I understand this was a special and premium book (James Baldwins Little Man - Little Man) but as it was a birthday gift - it was too late and missed the occasion. I am a big fan of Wordery as I hate Amazon & eBay but on this occassion it would have been good to know in advance if it was not going to arrive on time - even though it indicated it was coming from the UK!”

“The service was as described. I was rather surprised at the long wait for delivery...I am not sure what takes wordery so long to post and deliver as I would have thought a couple of days would have been sufficient. However, the delivery time was as described so I did at least know it would take a while.”

“Delivery time was 9 working days and not 4 as stated. Wordery did not keep me posted on progress or reasons for delay so that I had to contact them. In future, if the delivery time is well past the stated estimated time Wordery should let the customer know, unprompted, to improve its customer care.”

“The book I ordered did not arrive because of a mistake in address. Unfortunately the time it took to try and sort the problem out with your customer service via email exchanges was far too long and unwieldly (you only seemed to respond to mails once every 24 hours) and I found the whole operation a waste of time.”

“Urm...I don't know what to say. I'm still waiting for my cards about a month after buying them. The staus of my order still says Out for Delivery and as far as I know noone has got back to my colleague to let her know how this is going to be resolved. I'd be grateful for some action please. Currently I wouodn't be able to recommend you or give you a good star rating. but I don't want to give you a poor one either until I've given you another chance to resolve this. Thanks, Suzi”
