It’s been a year, they’ve taken a big chunk of money and never actually did what I asked and dropped off the face of the earth. I have been on reedsy working with an amazing woman. I contacted them several times over the last few months and it’s been the first click of a response that Gmail suggest.

My experience with this company was horrific and it even got worse. I paid them to edit and format and publish my book it took months and months, pressured for more advertising money Non-Stop. Then to top it off they called me and pretended to be Amazon and offered me an advertising package for $1,500 and charged it to my credit card I did not know it was not Amazon until I got my statement! Scam company!

They are scammers. They screwed me out of thousands of dollars. Now they won’t answer their phone. Others are having trouble with them. I filled a complaint with US COMPTROLLERS OFFICE and calling FBI this week. I’m a disabled veteran and they know it. They don’t care who they hurt.

These people from across the waters are scam artists to the fullest. They also operate as Alpha Design Crew. They took my funds and went radio silent. Spread the word!!

Do not trust this company. I paid them a ton of money with empty promises. They will 'ensure' you promises, but only take your money! Do not trust the company; do not use this company for anything.

They don't tell you about hidden fees. They guarantee that you will only be paying the upfront fee of $2,500-5,000. However, when it's time to sign a contract, they conveniently leave out that you will have to pay for production costs yourself. These costs range from an additional $7,000 to $150,000. I am not making this up. You will not be refunded. They are preying on hopeful writers. If they have your information, please block them and hold onto your manuscript. They are clearly from India and are currently under investigation as we speak.

I engaged Writers of USA in May 2024, investing $16,800 for marketing services and the printing of my book. By the end of July 2024, their delivery has been unsatisfactory, consisting only of a website and a few PDFs outlining vague plans for social media promotion. Jordan Smith, who presented himself as the Marketing Director, contacted me shortly after the initial agreement, attempting to upsell additional services and claiming that 7,000 copies of my book had been pre-sold. Despite repeated requests for proof of these pre-sales and confirmation of the book's printing, no evidence has been provided. Two weeks ago, a person named Isaack, who claimed to be the owner, assured me that he would investigate the matter. However, no further action has been taken, nor has any evidence been supplied. I believe this organization is engaging in fraudulent practices. They have a polished website and a responsive initial communication but fail to deliver on their promises, instead stringing clients along while taking their funds. I have filed a complaint with the FBI for wire fraud, as my payments were made via bank transfer to a company named Technoboxer LLC at Bank of America. I strongly advise against engaging with Writers of USA, regardless of the excuses they may offer. Their assurances are entirely deceptive.

RUN AWAY and run far away from Writers of USA. I gave them $3k. I was promised to have an edited, formatted, published book in 4-6 weeks that they were then going to market. It has been several months. I have had to re-edit and reformat everything they have edited and formatted. Their designers are not creative and do not listen; after multiple months of them missing the mark, I had to pay an external freelancer to design my cover. So, months after signing the contract that says if I am not 100% satisfied I can get my money back. I am getting the run-around and being passed to multiple people who promise to fix all of my issues. Every time I say I want my money back, they ignore me. This is heartbreaking and stressful. I do not want this to happen to anyone else.

You people are unbelievable. WoUSA is an A.I. writing scam based in India. These "good" reviews are fake. If you do business with them, you deserve to have your money stolen like I did. Try Reedsy or Scribe for legitimate business practices.
