WARNING : AVOID Argos AT ANY COST. I ORDERED AN ITEM FOR NEXT DAY STORE COLLECTION. ITS BEEN A WEEK AND IS STILL NOT HERE. I CAN NOT CANCEL UNTIL IS DELIVERED TO STORE AND THEN I NEED TO WAIT 30 DAYS FOR REFUND. HOW SOMETHING LIKE THIS CAN BE EVEN LEGAL???
ALSO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY RUBISH MAKING STORIES AND LIES.
NEVER I WILL BUY ANYTHING FROM Argos AGAN!

I reported the incident to Argos via their customer service department by telephone the following day, Saturday 3rd August and was told that I would receive a call / get a response within 48 hours - I didn’t.

Wish I could give no stars!
Diabolical service and false advertising. The app said my item was available from the next day but once I ordered (and they had my money) the receipt said not available until next week.
The chat service is pointless and they don’t refund for up to 7 days.
They must make money just from the money they keep while waiting to refund you.
Lesson learnt, never again.
