“Grocery not even delivered. This is probably the worst place to order from especially from Tower Hamlets. Highly reccommend you switch to tesco or Sainsbury's as they have respect for their customers. Especially if you ive in a flat you will most likely get denied. If you don't believe me order for yourself and see. The branches especially in east london are terrible. Delivery Staff are even very rude. My flat was 1 floor and 4 staircases and the delivery driver refused to deliver to 4th floor because of the stupid asda policty of not delivering to homes which don't have lifts. i tried to advice him to come up but he kept arguing about asda's policy and ended up taking our groceries bavck to the van and driving away. I hope god punishes him for rude vulgar behavior especially towards an old man (my dad).”
“Always shop with Asda cos my son is fussy and likes certain foods.
But will need to shop elsewhere no sick fed up with the substitutes as they are rubbish and if you get something on a deal and they only have two not 3 which is the deal you pay full price !!
Placed an order last week waited over an hour after Delivery time
no contact from Asda so I called customer service to be told my order was cancelled !!
And I can get my money refunded and reorder
Customer service doesn’t care
They should be helping me get my order as they were quick enough to take £110 from my account !!
I asked for complaints to be told they would contact me
A week later no contact from
Complaints still and no refund !!
So I called again and was told I need to wait another week for my money
Absolutely disgrace
Will need to start shopping at Tesco or Morrison’s as Nhs get discounts there from time to time
Would no recommend Asda gone delivery ever !!!”
“Hereford store 11/03/22 1700hrs decided to have a pizza made up as we have always been happy with the product. We'll until this evening so shocked hardly any toppings put on very little tomato on base layer . The young girl that served seemed to be inexperienced at her job. Big disappointment. Wouldn't recommend again.”
“Yesterday they cancelled and today cancelled saying we are not in even though we both have covid and actually waiting for medication. Driver lied saying he arrived at 1338 !! We are actually looking and waiting for him
Terrible service and lie never ever again bloody disgusting”
“Worst service ever . I am Isolating and can’t go out . First time using Asda online . Order is five hours late . Three calls to customer service who were no help at all . They don’t where the driver is except that he’s ‘ on the move ‘ then I was told the van broke down !I feel so let down and frustrated . I needed cat food and other essentials . Driver made no contact at all . He’s prob gone home with all my stuff . I’ve cancelled and asked for refund … we shall see !”
“Asda Slough is a great store, well organised, good lay out, sanitisers available … organised check outs for separate self service points for trollies and baskets. I only gave 4 stars as they don’t have Litres big water bottles as Tesco & other stores . Can you get this fixed Asda so that I do all my weekly shopping from you”
“I had an ASDA home delivery just before Christmas, ok except fruit and veg not very fresh. On 15th January I saw on my credit statement a debit of £15 by a company I'd never heard of. After a lot of time and effort I discovered it was a subscription company and ASDA had passed my credit card details to them without my permission! After more time and effort I managed to cancel it which was made very hard for me to do. ASDA admitted they had done this. I have had numerous contact with ASDA since about this and they keep asking me repeatedly for more information which they already have. They just want me to go away.”
“Waited in for our home delivery booked for Wednesday between 2100hrs to 23.00hrs. At 22.30pm received a text message to say our delivery has been cancelled due to bad weather?? Would never use this company again, we were waiting for some of this shopping for the following day and as we live 12 miles from our nearerest town, this caused us a lot of hassle. Do not use ASDA home delivery, use another professional company who will not let you down at the last minute. Awful service.

“delivery was early but didn't let me know which is fine but if I had been out what would have happened?
I didn't get 2 of my items at all and they only refunded me the discounted versions as they were part of deals but that means if I repurchase them individually then I have to pay extra. Also I ordered a 3 pack of chicken and only got 2. Customer service just said they would make a note of it but nothing has been changed so don't see it making any difference.”
“Over the past few months I have had more deliveries cancelled than delivered,
Dates are rubbish also.
Speak to customer service and they are not interested in being helpful”
“Seeing price on the shelf but paying a much higher price at the checkout. Other supermarkets are guilty of this but ASDA is very bad. ASDA must profit millions of pounds from this. Most people don't bother querying this at checkout as it only amounts to a couple of pounds and not worth the bother of delay while assistant goes to check the price. Strangely it never happens the opposite way where you are charged less than the displayed price.”
“Order never arrived but tracking said it was out for delivery. Phoned and was informed it WAS out for delivery but maybe not. Next morning tracking said it had been delivered. I have to wait a few days for refund. When I phoned their records said it had not been delivered. I understand there may be problems with absence etc but communication is shocking. No excuse for wrong information. I won't use this service again.”
“I placed an order with Asda , and the driver came yesterday under my house but he didn’t give me my order he just left , his excuse was he didn’t know where is my door however my door is so clear and obvious, and even if so why he didn’t contact me to tell him where is my house ?! , I called the customer service and they are so funny, telling me will give me £5 voucher ! And I can place my order again when I want to place my order again water’s price increased by £7 and olive oil’s price increased by £7.5 , and they still hold my £103 and I will wait the refund , so professional, so holding my money for 5 days and I will place new order with £15 more , such shame !”
“The main problem with ASDA is that too many items are missing from my order when it’s delivered. In total from the last three deliveries I had approximately 25 items missing, that equates to 37%. Also despite selecting no substitutes when placing the order I still got substitutions. I can no longer trust Asda To fulfil my orders properly. No more shopping with Asda for me”
“Booked and paid for a food order for £178.05 to be delivered the following day between 11am and 1pm. Driver failed to leave the Frozen Food. Getting through to the Service Centre was a nightmare and after an hour of holding on the phone, the advisor just stated the items would be refunded as they do not contact drivers to return with missing items. After speaking with a Manager, it was agreed the driver would return. After waiting in all afternoon, the driver never returned and no phone call from the store. After speaking with the service centre again, I was accused of lying and was told I never spoke to a manager and there was nothing they could do other than refund. The attitudes of advisors are appalling, rude and not intetested, shopping order not fulfilled and had to go elsewhere to get the missing items. Asda don't seem to care about customer experience, their customers or service they give, complaints are treated as if they are nothing, they have no interest in things that go wrong and certainly take no accountability. Check your orders throughly before the driver leaves as its an absolute nightmare trying to sort out problems once he/she leaves. A call centre in South Africa is not the best when problems arise.”
“In Asda in Chelmsley wood what a waste of time trying to get served you would think it was Christmas eve. One employee was trying to be helpful another smarmy faced middle aged woman really couldn't care less. Even the manager couldn't be asked. Want to try employing some people. Useless.”
