"We bought a balsam Hill 9' Silverado Slim filp tree 3 years ago. First year was relatively trouble free but did have a section go out. We replaced a \"grey\" light which apparently governs that section and it worked again. The next year several sections began to go out and in some cases the replacements didnt fix the problem. Now in year 3 of having our tree, here is what our PRE LIT tree looks like and we cant fix it. I highly suggest you avoiding this flip tree from Balasm Hill"

"So we decided to buy a fake tree from Balsam Hill, on Black Friday taking advantage of their sale and a additional 50 dollars off\u2019 we went with Yukon spruce 6 ftz the picture of the tree side by side to the online picture and the one at our house that we received\u2019 a Charlie Brown tree would of been better\u2019 poor quality workmanship!"

"We purchased a tree 7 years ago at around $1200. The tree is beautiful and all the lights work. However, it is becoming very wobbly. Upon closer inspection, we determined that one of the tree joints is cracked so it doesn't hold that section firmly anymore. This is a pre-lit tree and we have NEVER had issues with the lights and they have worked perfectly and so has the remote. I have purchased Christmas wreaths and they also work great. I recently purchased some pumpkins for fall decor and the quality left a little to be desired. Customer service promptly replaced them at no cost to me. I think the quality could be better for the price but so far I've had good experiences both with most of the products as with customer service."

I contacted their customer service department, providing screenshots, and the gentleman said that there was nothing they could do. The price, which was $200.00 more than the advertised price, was the price (before taxes) at checkout. Very clever, and I am sure some consumers just go along and pay the price at checkout."

"In late October, I bought the Balsam Hill Winterberry Forest Wreath for $229.25. In December, I proudly put it on my front door for display during the holiday season. I recently took it down and noticed all the evergreen branches had \"frizzled\" on their ends-basically melted. We live in Minnesota, so much of the season is below zero. When I called and talked to Blanca, Customer Service, she told me it was beyond the 30 day warranty, and there was nothing she could do. When I explained that BH should stand behind their products, even if the manufacturer does not, Blanca just reiterated her 30 day warranty several more times. When I bought the wreath in October, the warranty was already void before I ever hung it on the door.\r\n\r\nI should have gone to Hobby Lobby or Target and bought a $49.99 wreath and replaced it for the next 5 years - I would be further ahead!\r\n\r\nBUYER BEWARE - BALSAM HILL DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!!"

"I bought two wreaths last year and stored them in their original box and took them out of their boxes recently to hang on my door. Tonight I needed to replace the 3 D batteries in the 34 inch wreath and I see the battery box electrical unit is broken. Had to tape it closed with black tape which is ridiculous. Balsam Hill could care less. They said there\u2019s only a 30 day warranty\u2026..obviously the box is poorly made so you\u2019d think they would make good on it."
