“I bought the narrow blue spruce tree in November 2019. It’s been a beautiful tree for my small home, however this year the top section didn’t light I called customer service and because it’s out of the three year warranty and they discontinued this tree I can’t get another section . They sent me fuses but that didn’t give me positive results. It’s advertised that balsam hill trees usually are good for 8-10 years. Very disappointing that there is no remedy for me I will not buy another tree from balsam hill”

“beautiful tree first 3 yrs, now on the 4th year multi lights won't work , no warranty and customer service is terrible, all they tell you after talking to 4 diff. ones is to ck the bulbs for broken or burned out ones. No one will really help you touble shoot. basically they just want you to buy another one.”

“I have had my prelit, 8' Balsam Hill tree for 3years now and love it. This year, I had to replace a plug fuse and all is lit so no problems (yet)! Took me a bit of troubleshooting to find if-and-where to replace the fuse, but with some patience got it done. I was very troubled to see from the reviews that Balsam Hill is no longer offering replacement bulbs for "older" trees and telling customers to "just string some lights over the unlit section" on a $700+ tree investment. The fact that their bulb base is unique, is all-the-more upsetting. I suspect they are not making the incandescent bulbs any longer due to the takeover of LEDs. One of the previous reviewers had a GREAT idea of replacing the bulb only, but keeping the base (easy to do by carefully manipulating the wires that run thru the base). (Or) take all the bulbs off the tree and list them on Ebay... from what I see, you can probably make enough $$ to buy another tree from a different company.”

“Last year i bought a 6’5” tree for $349 on sale. This year, same tree is $379 on sale. Nice tree but the sale price is the real price. Anyone who pays “full” price is foolish with money.”

“I love the look of the products. They are beautiful. We purchased a Christmas tree, wreath, and 4 garlands. I ordered early due to the supply chain issues. Unfortunately by the time we put the garland up, we were 30 days out, so the warranty was expired. After 15 days, one of the garland’s light began to go on and off and eventually off and never worked again. New batteries weren’t the issue. So one of them lasted only 2 weeks and we were out of luck. Next year we will have to take the lights off and find a new set of lights with a battery pack and timer? Very disappointing for the price. But, we do live everything else that is working.”

“Very disappointed. After 2 uses, the lights started going out and we did everything but could not get them working again.tree needles not at all realistic. Will go back to Bethlehem Lights. They are more realistic and last for years.”

“Good grief!!! I thought I read great reviews on these trees prior to buying. I hate the tree I purchased. I told them.. they sent me a lovely u-tube explanation how to make their tree look wonderful and all you had to do was get a partner and spend an hour or two fluffing the lovely expensive 7’ slim tree made in China. I sent lots of pics and I got many responses from dedicated customer service reps trying to help by saying we understand/we’re sorry/what can we do to help... yadayada They have no intention to help. They have a lovely site. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! BE ADVISED.... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!”
