Good quality stock, delivered smoothly and on time and well packaged. There was minor uncertainty over the trees delivered as they did not have the exact details of what I ordered, but overall I am happy and will use this company again.

I can heartily recommend Chris Bowers' interesting nurseries. They are able to source some of the old English varieties that I am collecting for my 'Ancient orchard' here in the New Forest. I could only find these with them last year. Don't forget everyone, as May and June bring droughts you will need buckets full of water for each plant to preserve the young root development. Just because everything else is demanding you attention just then, these precious individuals cannot manage until they have formed a proper new rootball this may take several years , depending on soil and weather. I used micorrhiza root grow and a handful of dried seaweed in their planting. This last is both water retentive and nutritious. I always return to Chris Bowers for reliable trees.

Surprised how well my 3 apple trees were packed for the post. They look good and healthy, I've planted, fed and staked ok. look forward to see what happens in next growing season in 2024, so far so good.

Almond tree ordered earlier in the year for delivery in Autumn. It duly arrived well packaged in paper sacks and in straw. It was in good condition and a fair size for the price. Will look again for any specialist trees.

I ordered numerous trees in March. Delivered promptly and planted. The 4 apples and a quince took fine, as did the berry bushes I ordered, and cherry super columns appeared to. However, 2 cherry trees and a gage did not do anything and appeared dead within about 5 weeks of planting. I emailed at start of May about these, asking if there was anything I should do to try and revive them. No response. Then, over the summer, 3 of the 4 cherry super columns - which initially had leaf - died. I phoned at start August and a helpful lady took details. At this point, I just wanted to get replacement trees and buy 2 more to complete my garden orchard (which is the 3rd orchard I have planted, being an experienced gardener). I forwarded my sales receipt and also the mail I had sent about 3 failed trees at start of May. I was told they needed samples of the roots nad trunk to find out more. I dug up the dead trees - all 6 of them and sent these. Response? None. Not even an acknowledgement that I had returned these - at my expense. I emailed at start September and then again this week. No response to the chain about the dead trees and returning them. I had also forwarded again the email from May as a reminder that those 3 trees were clearly DoA. Bizarrely, I then received a response to just that email - the rest ignored - saying that they establish at different speeds and will bud next year. Hhahhahha hah. After telling me on phone to see if trunk was dead (yes, was dead wood) and then to dig them up and send to them as "samples" to investigate. Good luck budding I spring! As a note, my only previous purchase from the company was 4 trees in about 2015, all of which failed. Tho I thought maybe I had done wrong, so I did not persue this. Now, I think not. Experience with the one other provider I used for orchard when I notified them that one tree had failed: we've ordered a new one for you, you'll receive it in November. Such a shame about the poor customer service and dead trees, as all else is so promising. They have 2 stars for the healthy products delivered swiftly - they could have learnt 5 if the customer experience on the faulty items had been good and if they had sent healthy replacements in a timely manner

Last Autumn (2022) I ordered a gift of fruit bushes for my sister. They arrived quickly and were very carefully packed. My sister duly planted them, tended them and was happy when the fruit appeared. However, as the fruit ripened it was obvious there had been a muddle with labels. The fruit should have ripened to yellow, these were red. I wrote to the company, received a reply very quickly and today the plants have been replaced. No question, no quibble. Such a change to deal with a company with old fashioned values. Something sadly lacking these days but very much appreciated on our family. More than happy to use the company again.

Awful company. Customer always right? Gone are those days with this company. I’ve written to them over two failed fruit trees ordered earlier this year and sending customer reference number, and just receive a pedantic and rude reply. My husband is a head gardener on a large Estate in Hampshire with many years of gardening experience. He is disgusted with their produce and the so called customer service. Please shop elsewhere. I wish I had. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Extremely rude customer service. A polite enquiry concerning a missing item has led to a whole series of rude and tense exchanges. Willing to hide behind terse email exchanges but seem unable to be contactable over the phone. I would not recommend trading with this company. Ever.

Prompt delivery, most plants in good condition but when I contacted them to say that three of the strawberry plants bought 2 weeks ago weren't showing signs of life I was told it was my fault.

Easily the most informative and has the best search/ selection available on any website - especially for us who live in the Highlands of Scotland Made choosing trees so much easier - and a cost effective delivery service to boot also which is problematic (a total rip off normally) up here to stay the least Thanks again, can’t fault your website/ service and follow up at all

Ordered two dwarf apple trees which arrived on time, well packaged and in good condition. Trees are now potted up and will look forward to spring and seeing them burst into life. Website has plenty of useful information and I like the fact that I later received a direct email asking how things were and to get in touch if I had any questions- a nice change from the numerous computer generated questionnaires one gets after buying anything these days.

I bought a plum tree for a specific part of my garden after perusing the website and seeing very detailed information relating to suitability, size etc. The tree arrived and was well packaged in eco-friendly materials. I had a small issue which was resolved to my absolute satisfaction very promptly. The website has a wealth of aftercare information and the company are very helpful and approachable. Would recommend!

Impressed with, what we now understand to be, your new way off packaging. The plants all arrived in very good condition and the sacking and straw is now being re-used to protect some vegetables in the family vegetable store. Was also amazed at the wide variety of fruits and nut trees available.

I ordered ten supercolumn fruit trees on Fri 11th November, and they were delivered on Tue 15th November! They were well packaged in in paper sacks and padded with straw so all recyclable. I had emailed some questions about them before buying due to being an inexperienced gardener and these were answered very promptly. A great experience buying from this seller, I'd definitely buy from here again.
