“I ordered raspberry, gooseberry and blueberry cordons. The plants arrived on time and were the best packaged plants I've ever received. And I buy a lot of plants. The cordons look good, strong and healthy. To top it all off, I received a lovely follow up e-mail checking they had arrived safely and that I was happy with them and to call if I needed any further advice. Really lovely customer service and I was left feeling that these guys take real pride in their work. I never write reviews but I did for them. Thank you guys. PS Wanted to add photos but it wouldn't upload them.”

“Best quality healthy fruit trees on the market. Beth pear tree amazing quality very impressive. Invincible pear tree comming on very nicely after 10 months so healthy. Scarlet pimpernel apple very healthy rootstock. I would advise anyone to buy their fruit trees from Chris Bowers. I have tried other growers so I can honestly say Chris Bowers are the far superior root stock trees.”

“My Damson tree and strawberry plants arrived in tip top conditio. even though the tree was bare root sythey were packed beautifully with lots of care. Great customer service. This company got a great review from one of the womans weekly magazines recently hence I chose them.”

“This company is superlative! I ordered 5 espalier apple and pear trees. I had loads of questions before ordering, which the wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful Julie talked me through on the phone, and after ordering John was very quick to reply to my subsequent emails. The trees arrived when promised, looking healthy and beautifully packed. Then the icing on the cake was an email a couple of weeks later from Gemma to ask if everything was ok with my order. The whole process was indeed very, very ok! I couldn't have asked for more, would order from them again in a flash, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Oh, and the trees were very reasonably priced too!”

“I ordered many fruit trees and fruit plants to be delivered for Autumn planting, I receieved my strawberry plants early as they were in stock and ready for planting, not all survived initial planting (they were alive when the arrived) but many of those that did proliferated quick to fill in the area. Roll on a few months and in early Nov I had all my others delivered to me. Item are very well packed with shredded paper or straw (composted after) used to protect the plants and the plants are securley kept in place with plastic wrapping and tape. All my plants are now in the ground ready for the next growing season. My fruit trees were all very well shaped and cut for a typical bush shape which was what I wanted, allowing me to further prune for my ideal shape. I would recommend and will use again happily, they stock many varieties which are hard to get elsewhere and give a lot of sound advice on their website, with great prices.”

“Ordered 3 varieties of fruit tree. CB made it clear delivery at best would be late October but more likely November. Trees arrived in the timeframe above. All well packed and in good condition. Planted now so hopefully will come good next year”

“I have just taken delivery of a thornless blackberry and a collection of raspberry canes. The delivery was spot on and I have never recieved plants so well packed. Within 2 hours of delivery I recieved an email not automated but from a lady named Gemma checking everything was alright andhad I any questions regarding cultivation. I will not be able to comment on the fruit until next year but if its as good as their customer service I will be extremely satisfied KP South Yorks”

“Excellent range of fruit bushes, clear on-line catalogue with details of individual types, flavours, size etc; speedy delivery by good courier with bushes well packed; kept informed at each stage of process; bushes are bare root and have excellent root systems. Prices: about average. I will use Chris Bowers again and commend them to anyone seeking fruit bushes, strawberries .....”
