“I will never buy from this company again. The tree I purchased online in december had failed to develop by May so I sent a polite email requesting replacement or refund under their 'Gold Standard Guarantee', which promises "If it fails to thrive or live up to your expectations we will replace or refund it". We had an exchange of emails in which they were terse and evasive and finally stopped replying. I now see that there are a number of other people who have left similar negative reviews.”

“I bought a King James Mulberry to replace a very old mulberry tree which had to be felled a few years ago and planted it in the same spot. So far the new one is putting on lots of new growth and looking extremely healthy. Lovely personal service and quick delivery. I will definitely use Chris Bowers again”

“Worst experience from a plant supplier. Packages arrived crushed, plants crushed and snapped, long wait for email replies. Poor attitude. Will never use again. Would have liked to issue 0 stars. False promises for delivery date.”

“After a slight hiccup on delivery, (so 4 stars not 5!) the gooseberry bush I received was truly excellent; sturdy, healthy, a decent size too. I look forward to many years of juicy red goosegogs! I'll definitely recommend to friends, and use them again myself. Thanks!”

“One of the fruit trees I purchased in March had not produced any leaves by mid April and showed no sign of life. When I contacted Gemma she arranged a replacement very quickly and it is growing well. I highly recommend Chris Bowers.”

“very happy with my greengage. It’s settling in nicely on my allotment and putting out new leaves. It was really well packaged and the communication about delivery was excellent. I’m particularly pleased with the balanced shape and symmetry of the tree. Looking forward to a good harvest in a few years.”

“I decided to grow some dwarf fruit trees on my patio. A family friend suggested Chris Bowers. I checked out their website and was amazed at the choice and the incredible price. I placed my order which arrived promptly and very well packaged. The advice I received made planting straightforward even for a novice like myself. I purchased my trees the middle of March ‘24 and with the advice Chris Bowers provided my trees are healthy and flourishing. The after sales service was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris Bowers. Thank you for an excellent service.”
