“Good choice of varieties, I bought Noir de Bourgoigne Blackcurrant bush, as recommended on BBC GQT Radio 4 as a most flavoursome blackcurrant. I was able to order an apple tree and tayberry in the same order. Very pleased and all arrived safely, well packed and at the time stated.”

“I bought a Red Falstaff apple tree from Chris Bowers several years ago. This is still healthy and very productive. Recently I bought a Shropshire prune and Belle de Louvain plum plum tree. These arrived on time, well packaged in straw and in good condition. They are now in my allotment and seem to be settling in well.”

“I was looking for this variety of gooseberry having read about it (Martlet) plant arrived well packed. in good time. looks a well grown bush which is now happily growing away in the kitchen garden - hopefully next year will yield some beautiful red dessert berries!”

“I purchased both apple and pear trees, as column trees, along with blueberries and strawberries. The fruit trees are now in, as are the strawberries and blueberries. I found the buying experience excellent, the plants healthy, and I particularly like the information on the website. Delivery was as described and communication was good. I would definitely use Chris Bowers & Sons again.”

“Very helpful advice prior to buying. When four trees (in pots) arrived quite quickly they had clearly been carefully packed and the compost was still nice and damp. Clear planting instructions on their website, so altogether a happy purchase. The real test will be to see how the trees are in a year's time!”

“Ordered a bare root cherry and plum tree and the order was delivered on time and well packaged. Follow up email sent to check all was ok with the order. Unfortunately, the plum tree failed to grow properly but with some photos sent and advice given it was promptly dealt with and a replacement sent. Extra special mention for Gemma in customer service - she was excellent - speedy replies and advice. Would definitely use again and would recommend to others.”

“The product was as described extremely well packaged and a follow up email was the nicest surprise asking if everything was ok and offering advice if I required it (a lovely touch) 5 star service all round cannot fault anything a special mention goes to Gemma for her customer care Highly recommended and I will definitely use Chris Bowers again”
