Co op boast under 2 hour delivery on website, just pick a 2 hour slot. 0.99 is mentioned, but I was charged £1.99. Minimum delivery £15. Received email at 3.35pm to say my order was being picked, but 1 item not in stock. O..kay. At 6.15, when order nowhere to be seen, I contacted customer service, to be told that my order hadn't been assigned a driver and that the 2 hour window was a guideline, not set in stone as there might not be drivers available. Huh?? So he offered to manually request a driver in the hope that one would accept the job. No guarantees, though. Here's the thing. Had I ordered on JustEat, the delivery time would have been 30-45 minutes. No minimum order, and orders over £15. delivered free of charge. So, my advice would be not to use the Co-op's own 'delivery service', if you actually expect your items to reach you eventually. Never again.

We hope that this scam stops and the authorities have a better handle on things. I have been cheated multiple times, but I was able to get my money back after receiving advice from "Kezook com" for weeks. I would be pleased to help because I had a similar experience.

Ordered from local co op online.. As disabled person needed to to get my food.. The wrong order was delivered.. never got my order...then they told me I the shop can't deliver me a new order.. And they charged me for the order.. Couldn't afford to buy elsewhere as Co op told me it would take up to 5 days to get my money back. Took ages to get through to process the issue too.. Never use co op online shop again...

Hi guys, I’ve just eaten a CO-OP fish pie , my thoughts are ……. It was terrible not only made with cheap pollock, hardly any, it had no flavour, no sauce at £3.80 it’s very poor quality. Sorry hate leaving bad reviews but it’s a not so cheap nasty meal for one☹️

Just bought 2 co op microwave meals priced at £3.55p each or 2 for 6 quid. Both sweet n sour chicken and Chinese chicken curry were absolutely terrible. Both had the tinyest bit of rice and the sauces were both so watery I had to grab a spoon .Can remember not that long ago you could buy 2 for 4 quid and you got 50 grams more plus you didn't need a spoon for the watery sauce. Terrible won't be buying again . Shame on you co op .

I placed this order and it never arrived. I made two phone calls to chase it up and requested cancellation online as advised The order still has not been refunded. I had to place the order with another supermarket, therefore now am short of money. I have disabilities as do my children therefore this service is invaluable to me. I have no idea if or when the refund will happen

Absolutely disgusting that 2 thieves can just walk in Southsea store and Rob them. Filling up their bags with what ever they want and nobody did anything. I feel sorry for the staff, put electic doors on to let customers in, why should I pay high prices because of them

First time online shopper with Co-op. Never again. I did some shopping for the first time ever with the Co-op. Shan’t be repeating that mistake: First they sent out someone else’s order mixed in with mine, which were it not for my integrity I could’ve had. Then one of my items was missing. Then I was charged for 2 carrier bags for 2 small items, despite them only being in one bag, which in any case I gave back as had my own. Then when I emailed about the missing item, and the mix up, I’d included the total refund to include the bags I’d been charged for but hadn’t used, stating this too. Long story short, the reply I got back was dismissive, and also felt dishonest. I shopped at the Co-op because I’d thought they were ethical. But charging for items not used, no matter how paltry the amount, adds up. And it seems they’re making a tidy profit from doing so if that’s their standard practice. I’ve obviously now taken my business elsewhere. In fact I’ve already received an issue free online order from another supermarket. When I went to write this, I was a bit shocked actually at the volume of similarly negative reviews. Such a shame. It’s the details that count, no matter how small, and really they’re relatively easy to get right. It’s also about treating people kindly and honestly.

just now NEW NEW SCAM ALERT Never trust the Coop. They lie about deliveries knowing that the delivery didn’t leave the store. Impossible to get a refund because it was marked as in transit & delivered. Which they accept didn’t happen but won’t refund my money. Paid an extra £5 for this horrendous customer services No refunds when they fail to deliver. Nightmare scenario they haven’t mastered answering the phone so you’re left hanging. Contempt is being kind

Extra special fish pie, had one piece of salmon and 3 prawns as it's total fish content. At over £3 per ready meal this is a total rip off.

I shop at the Bourton on the water Co-Op. you are greeted on entering with a wonderful selection of bread and pastries. We also have a very nice lady making various dishes offering customers to sample. Members can also help themselves to a free coffee. The atmosphere in the shop is also very welcoming from staff who are always on hand to help. The prices might not be the cheapest but particularly on fruit I find their selection sweeter etc than the big supermarkets

I've shopped at my lovely, small, local Co-op store for over twenty years. Recently however, Co-op's own brand items have disappeared, replaced by more expensive branded items instead. For example, a kitchen cupboard staple - Co-op Baked Beans hasn't been on the shelves for months. Likewise Co-op's own brand soups are missing too. The cheapest single tin of baked beans I could find was £1.70 (Heinz) and soup £2.25 (Baxters). We're in a cost of living crisis; people are struggling to make ends meet. Co-op's loyalty card rewards customers for buying Co-op own brand products which aren't available, so what's the point of the loyalty card? If you try to contact customer services by phone you'll be turned away - it's gone digital. The staff at my local Co-op are truly wonderful, and Co-op's own brand products are good quality too, but the ethical store has out priced me out and refuses to engage. This is a serious issue. I think about people who are struggling to manage on welfare, or senior citizen who have difficulty with technology, and I feel sad for the way the world is going.
