“Easyfundraising are NOT passing on the promised percentages according to the negotiated terms. I have complained to easyfundraising about frequent non-payment of many specific orders that I put through, and had a response saying they were being investigated - nothing! The only ones I ever see pass through to the charity are Amazon and they make the lowest contribution of any company. Is easyfundraising skimming off the money I’m raising for my chosen charity, one wonders? I shall discuss with the many other people using this site and make a decision about whether to report them for fraud!”
“I’m beginning to think this website isn’t legit. Many times I have used the links and the transactions never seem to be recorded despite going through the app.
Many pounds worth of claims amongst the family aren’t being processed and when you make a Claim nothing actually moves on. Really disappointing as I thought it was a good idea and now I am left feeling cheated by the site. Further annoyed as the charity I am supporting missed out due to not making £40 minimum in a month - perhaps the intention is that they will never get there as the app just doesn’t do what it should. This site need to do better”
“I spend £100 to £150 with Morrisons online almost every week but since January I have not had a single donation tracked. I am doubting if Easyfundraising actually still have an agreement with Morrisons. They have failed to deal with the problem. I am concerned that my donations are going elsewhere. If you are going to use this company, which I would not at the moment recommend, monitor them very carefully.
Just had a utterly useless suggestion to my problem......remove the Morrisons app, which I use several times a week.!!!”
“I do a weekly click and collect from Tesco and have always raised a small amount for an animal rescue. All of a sudden I have ordered in the same correct way and for the last couple of months no small amount of money has been forthcoming. I filled in a request to look into it and have heard absolutely nothing. I will be giving up using which is a shame for the animal sanctuary.”
“As a charity we are not getting the donations they are either pending or declined, customer service just end out a generated response and don’t answer complaint, we have decided to move our charity to another site”
“Defo scam, ive had at least 100 transactions not pay to our cause. I genuinely believe these are ripping people off. This needs looking in to. If it was 1 or 2 I'd understand, glitch etc, but hundreds not paying out. Total fraud. Ive raised £350 so far too.”
“Does not deliver what it promises. Made two purchases (1 over £1000) nothing has been paid . I have had to submit a claim 1)that is in review 1) that has been ignored. Customer Service is non existent”
“Please be aware of this "fundraising". It raises to your cause only small amount of money, any bigger ones are disappears.
I have raised several of the claims and and all of them have been declined.
This "fundraising" organisation should be reported as a fraud.”
“Questionable change to their Terms & Conditions
Just closed my account. They have updated their T&C's to state that any money that cannot be paid to a third party's can be kept and used for any purpose they deem fit.
This is scandalous. Any breakage (money that cannot be paid) should go to charity... FULL STOP! Anything else is extremely questionable and bordering on being sleazy, especially 'or for its internal business purposes (including retaining the funds).' !!!!
25. Interpretation: For the purposes of this Section D, the right to ”re-appropriate funds” shall mean the right for Easyfundraising to use or apply the relevant monies as Easyfundraising determines in its sole discretion including, without limitation, making donations to other Good Causes, funding prizes, enhancing other Donations, undertaking marketing or promotional activities, or for its internal business purposes (including retaining the funds).”
“Just an affiliate money-making scheme hiding behind a 'charity' guise. Surely far better ways for charities and organisations to raise funds and receive 100% of the funds. Poor to pay out to the charities that actually need the funds and impossible for a charity to prove the funds they should have received.”
“False promises, a borderline fraud. Some newspaper should investigate them. They must receive lots of commissions from the retailers that's on their page.”
