“It was so traumatizing and I couldn't talk to no one about it after this investors left me handicapped by taking my 25,00$ stopping me from withdrawal of my hard earned money. “Coin collector. ETSY has sellers selling counterfeit 1943 Steel Pennie’s . The Seller says they are Steel Pennie’s. 3 for $4.50 These are counterfeit. Etsy knows and yet they allow scammers and counterfeiters to steal from the people. Etsy says they will return your money but what about my LEGAL FEES For possessing counterfeit US currency. Legally Etsy and the Sellers Partners. Etsy could protect it’s customers by reviewing all currency offers, and it should, instead of providing criminals a place to criminally involve unaware customers. Danny D”

“Etsy is great as a buyer great variety og shops but as a seller if theres an issue with your account customer service will not,help. They regularly close stores and give no,explanation even going as faras telling you to cease contact in support messages and to hang up on you if you call.”

“I have ordered items from Etsy and was very satisfied. Only recently am I trying to order items from Etsy, specifically badge holders where they say item stock is low but cannot place an order. It comes up with an error. This has happened so many times that I will order from another site since everything I want, which is at least 20-39 items are not available due to people having them in their cart which I seriously doubt since it has been the same way for days if not weeks. It should be available be people that want to purchase now, not hold it in their cart for days or weeks.”

“Although I have received some really lovely things from Etsy, the amount of items I have ordered that have been ‘lost in the post’ is disproportionate. I would say that every three things I have bought from Etsy, one will not show up. I have got the money back every time from the seller, but the number of cases are so high. Compare this to Ebay where I also buy items from private sellers, I have never had an item disappear from EBay. In comparison about 8 of my Etsy orders mysteriously haven’t shown up.”

“Ive been a member for a few months, and everything is not all it cracks up to be, Lots of sellers (Over Charging) for vintage items. So please shop around. Saw some candle sticks today £114. Being sold as 1920s Antiques, when in fact past times made them in "2005. Shocking and worth a £5/£10 at the most, Would like to see improvements like a warning button to warn others of fakes. Also bought a egg pot" Description says NO CRACKS OR CHIPS, and seller don't except returns. Item had more chips in it than a cookie! Some sellers take weeks to post also" one seller couldn't be bothered to post asap as they had a hangover and said would deal with it in a few days!! , and some over charge a great deal on postage! But leaving feedback" often puts you in danger of abuse by the seller so reluctant to make public as sellers try to make out its you! that's the guilty one. A lot of items are SOLD" but seller still listing the item?? once you by you get a sorry its sold!!! Having said that bought some lovely items and some sellers take care to pack and post quick! and are friendly and easy to talk to. Would like to sell on there but they don't offer paypal to sellers. So some good some bad things to say.”

“Ive bought two separate prints and I love the pictures. The first came in a tube - perfect. But the second came in a flat cardboard envelope which was bent - so the print is bent :(”
