FibreGlassDirect is an online shop which supplies quality, fibreglass raw materials to the UK and Ireland. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and our Head Office is in Newry, Northern Ireland.
We have been online since 2009 but have over 60 years of experience as part of the Tricel Group.
We offer an extensive range of resins, topcoats, gelcoats and ancillaries for a wide range of industries. Some of our key supplies are used for Fibreglass Flat Roofing, Fibreglass Ponds, Boat Repairs and Castings for Decorative Items.

“Very deceived on the website. I order 2kg in belief I was getting 2kg of resin and 2kg hardner 4kg in total. It came to over 80£, postage was 13.50 when converted to euro cost me over 100€.RPM does a 2KG kit. 2kg of hardner 2kg of resin for 100€ 9€ postage. I won't order again beacuse I got out of pocket from this shop over 40£ due to bad website contacted customer care and waist of time!”

Hi Chloe, I have spoken to the management team in relation to this review. I believe that you were in contact with them yesterday by phone. The kit you purchased was a 2kg kit which as is explained on the website 1kg of Part A and 1kg of Part B. Our website is completely transparent in this respect and the prices are as stated. “very good service before ordering as reguards to how to use it and various technical things, ordering simple and quick. order came quickly, well most of it one parcel got miss laid by DPD and had to telephone Ireland to report it missing but they sorted it and it came the next day. Just need some fine warm weather to do it now.”

“My order was fill and delivered promptly part of the order one day the rest of the order the next , I was a little surprised by this , however in this instance it wasn’t a problem”

“Amazingly quick delivery. As a novice, the pond kit approach was very helpful and took a lot of the worry out of working out what I needed. No instructions on application and the blog did not help hugely, but I got there courtesy of a Youtube demo. Very pleased with the end result.”

“This is the first time I have used Fibreglass direct. Very helpful and polite. When I only received 3 parts of a 5 part order I gave them a ring. They was on to the courier and tracking it down straight away. All of my order arrived within 24hr. Thank you Stuart S.W.D. Roofing”

“I ordered a number of items to be picked up at your Leeds depot. On arriving home I realised that a container of mixing sticks was missing. I contacted you by hone the same day and informed them, I was told they would be sent to my address. I still have not received them.”

“I made an order on 26Feb, I recieved no confirmation of order, I rang on 1st March could only get answer machine, I left a message, no response from that ,part of order arrived 2ndMarch I rang 3rd March about missing trims they arrived later,I waited for the trims but they arrived late ,I had rearranged my day to accept them but had to go,on my return I inspected the trims ,they were so badly damaged they are useless,I rang again and got to speak to an operator, told him my problem more trims sent, again waiting delivery! Another day wasted , not a happy chappie!!!”

“Does what its sold for, although I found that I needed extra resin for the 5mtr kit I ordered, so possibly get an extra 2.5 kg of resin if you don't want to run out as I did & had to source some locally urgently. Otherwise all good.”
