“Terrible experience hiring
This isn’t exactly a review against the company, but they are part of the problem for not controlling what their freelancers publish. I hired a freelancer to help me with a task I couldn’t figure out due to a lack of time. So, I went on Fiverr to look for someone. I found a freelancer named Anada A and selected the basic service, which was priced at $20.
The task was simply to open a port in a firewall—something that, if you truly consider yourself a networking specialist, should take no more than five minutes. This so-called "networking specialist" accepted the order, but once it was confirmed, he reached out and demanded more money. This infuriated me because it’s an unethical tactic that takes advantage of customers' needs.
It’s not about the money—it’s about respecting what you offer. If you advertise a service at a certain price, you can’t change it after the customer has already placed the order. But that’s exactly what happened. I saw the price was $20, I placed an order, and then he changed the terms. Fiverr should take action against freelancers who list services at low prices just to attract customers, only to later increase the cost unfairly.
I had a terrible experience with this freelancer, and I won’t be using this platform anymore.

“My first foray into using Fiverr was an absolute disaster, marked by subpar service and a complete lack of professional competence. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues with my project, getting support from an actual human was impossible—responses were automated, unhelpful, and delayed. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority, and there is no accountability for freelancers who fail to deliver. This entire ordeal has been a frustrating waste of both time and money. I strongly advise potential users to consider other more reliable services where customer support and quality are taken seriously.”
“I regret ever registering with this Trade Company. They are just being dishonest when they promise to let you know but never follow through. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I strongly suggest contacting Mrs. Charlotte Scott to avoid making the same mistake that I did. They gave me great assistance in getting my money back. It is strongly advised that you take advantage of this opportunity to get in touch with "Charlotte Scotte and her remarkable team". You can contact her via

“I invested $17,500 here to trade based on their signals. The scammers provided me with videos of real trading based on signals, as well as screenshots of PNL. I was eager to earn the same, so I fell for it and invested the money. But I didn’t know that I was dealing with a fake broker, not a legitimate one. As it turned out, the scammers just took my $17,500 and then stopped responding and i got so worried about it, so I decided to share it out to my friends, before a friend of mine directed me to Mrs. ''' Morris Meihua '''.. she was the one who helped me recover all my lost both my profit and i was so glad, yo can also reach out to them if you are being scammed before or even finding it so difficult for you to withdraw the money which you have invested on any broker, they can help you out.... “The seller conned me into closing out my order and did no work. I contacted Fiverr and they are just giving me the run around, they keep asking me the same questions just waiting for me to give up, they arent trying to help me. They asked for pictures and video of the issues and they didnt even look at it. BEWARE OF THESE VENDORS ON HERE! If you have a problem dont expect Fiverr to help you!
It was not addressed, I was conned by the seller. Be careful sending large amounts of money to anyone on Fiverr.”
“Outstanding experience! Ankit created a stunning logo that perfectly captures my brand's identity. He was professional, quick, and very responsive to my feedback. The final design exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!”
“DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM IT IS A SCAM. I purchased a gig on 9/24 and it was supposed to be completed in 10 days. Here we are (10/28) several weeks later and it is still not done. What is worse is the freelancer that was 'helping' me did something and now when my business is googled, multiple versions of my website some up. There is no customer service at Fiverr, they only have AI customer service. I am not sure if this is allowed but his username on Fiverr is Mike Oliver and he is from Pakistan.”
“You will create it Yourself faster.
If You want to play with scammers and kids - Fiverr is Your place.
Your order can last for a month and in the end seller will disappear - Fiverr does nothing about it. They don`t even close such account.
It`s a bad idea, go somewhere else.”
“I’ve been a loyal Fiverr user, but my recent experience has been incredibly disappointing. I hired a seller for a project, but the delivered work was full of fraudulent practices and copyright violations. As someone without programming skills, I initially couldn't verify the quality myself, but the seller was struggling with their team to get the software working. They were practically begging me to mark the order as complete, and in good faith, I did.
After a month of continued issues with the software, I had a programmer from Holland review the code, and he discovered that the seller had copied content from different applications into mine. After confronting the seller, they agreed to cancel the orders (#FO83193B8C708 and #FO61E7330EA84), but despite this mutual agreement and solid evidence of fraud, Fiverr refuses to issue a refund.
Fiverr's position is that, because the orders were completed more than 14 days ago, I’m not eligible for a refund. However, this isn’t just a case of delayed dissatisfaction – the work was clearly fraudulent from the start, and I’ve provided Fiverr with extensive evidence, including a document detailing the issues and screenshots of the seller admitting fault and agreeing to the cancellation.
To make matters worse, the seller has refused to return the money directly, leaving me with no choice but to rely on Fiverr’s mediation. Unfortunately, Fiverr’s support has been unhelpful, sticking to their policies rather than addressing the fact that I was scammed.
Fiverr’s marketplace should be a safe place for buyers, but this experience has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. I trusted Fiverr to help resolve fraudulent activity, but their lack of action has me considering legal steps and filing complaints with consumer protection agencies.
This experience has completely shattered my trust in Fiverr. If you’re considering using Fiverr, be cautious, especially when it comes to their refund policies and handling of seller misconduct. I sincerely hope Fiverr takes action to protect buyers in the future, and I still hope I can recover some of the money I’ve lost.”
“Insane religious freak owners who allow sellers to harass you about their cult, and if you ask them to stop they ban you and steal your $. Fiverr belongs closed & the owners in jail. Complete nutcases.”
“Absolute trash for buyers. System is full of scammers and Fiverr staff supports them over the paying customers. So even when you prove the contractor lied and couldn’t fulfill the job, the contractor and Fiverr keep the money and say there’s not enough evidence.”
“Fiverr offers plenty of services for sure, however I find their system rigid to adjust to seller’s needs at times from my experiences, which I find disappointingly unfair at times. They also take a 10% commission from both buyers and sellers purely for providing their website. If you’re buying, you’re fine, but if you’re selling, be aware their system can be annoyingly frustrating at times”
“Biggest scam I have ever seen. Fees are applied everywhere you turn. Be aware, you only going to get a tiny proportion of the actual amount, by the time you withdraw, plus you will have to wait at least "10 years" to be able to withdraw your money. Customer service don't exist at Fiverr, its like their run by 2 rats in a bedroom. Stay away from these scammers, there are plenty better then them, use Guru, Toptal, PeoplePerHour, Freelancer, Truelancer, Outsourcely.”
