“My first Fiverr project and it won't me my last. I'm impressed across the board - great communication, attention to detail, and super responsive. I'm so happy with the results would definitely work with Malshi again, she was terrific.”
“The worst. Waleed Khalid, the vendor, simply did not deliver in a timely manner...going on 8 months now! (am I the sap for being this patient? yes). Deadlines blown, information needing to be repeated, extra charges every month or so. Now he wants to charge me for website deployment . Fiverr itself was helpless....same response from 5 different people (or was it from one bot 5 times?). I will NEVER, EVER, EVER use fiverr again.”
“Josiah, a support member, did not want to help me with my issue, just pushed videos that did not relate>
I asked him questions and he treated me like i'm dumb
I paid the $27 fee, and did one upgrade to pro which i did cancel on the first day
and there is no difference,
I feel this company is a scam, offering you tier after tier of plans when you join,
this is called a bait and switch, which is illegal in some countries”
“I was completely locked out of my trading account after my withdrawal request got rejected. It felt like my entire investment was at risk. I’ve heard of this happening to others too, and it’s honestly terrifying. But when I reached out for support, Mrs. Mercy and her team didn’t let me down. They got me back on track and helped recover my money”

“I paid up front for a freelancer to promote a one week special pricing for my book. Got nothing but silly questions and delays and emails from a different person each time I asked about my order status. Finally canceled the order but since I paid with PayPal Fiverr told me they don't refund PayPal payments. Stay far away from this company.”
“I tried signing up as a seller. You have to pay $15 a month as a seller and this is charged upfront before they "verify" you. In the verification process it requires your phone number. Mine was not compatible. I asked why and was told I need a national carrier with a SIM card. Problem is, my phone is T-Mobile with a SIM card, so it meets the requirements. After a back and forth with what seems to be an AI Customer Service Agent (not human), I attempted with another phone number, also a national carrier with SIM card. I got the same result. After a couple of weeks of back and forth they told me Customer Service addressed my issue and they can't resolve. Haven't refunded my $15 either. If signing up I would check first if your phone number is acceptable or you might lose 2 weeks of your life plus $15. Case # 13547392”
“I have been scammed. I paid for a professional product and what I got was just awful, could have been done by a teenager. Tried to work with the person, but she cannot even copy-paste a job title accurately. Spent hours online with their 'support' who wanted me to send screenshots of what was missing. Why would I pay for something and then do the work myself? I will initiate a chargeback and leave this review wherever I can, so others can be warned.”
“Quinn L was hired to write me a business plan and a business proposal the order was extremely late. When I received the business plan it was not professional she used photos that I didn't give her to use. This company is in remembrance of my special needs son. And this company did not deliver at all. I took the business plan and the proposal to potential investors and it was embarrassing one investor pointed out how many spaces that were between a few lines and this wasn't in one particular spot it was all throughout the proposal and the business plan I have reached out to Quinn l requesting that it is done right and I gave her the reason I have not yet to hear from her this is very disturbing I paid her her money and it is not her number that I can call to make a complaint or to get a refund very dissatisfied customer.”
“I've been a seller on Fiverr for over 12 years, and unfortunately, the platform has significantly declined—especially since the introduction of their AI-driven features and the new review system. Fiverr has always leaned heavily in favor of buyers, often at the expense of the very freelancers who power the platform. Support responses feel generic and scripted, and it's clear that seller concerns are rarely given real attention.
The updated review system fails to recognize hard work, long-term loyalty, or seniority, making it increasingly difficult for experienced sellers to thrive. On top of that, the growing reliance on AI is changing the platform in a way that feels impersonal and disconnected from the original spirit of freelance collaboration.
Fiverr is no longer the supportive environment it once was, and for many seasoned professionals, building your own client base outside the platform may now be the better option. Sadly, it just isn’t worth it anymore.”
“User unfriendly. Many scammers , many bluffing freelancers, hard to report a scammer. Reviews are inaccurate because Fivver ask for freelancers review before the jobs are fully assessed and completed.”
“Terrible experience hiring
This isn’t exactly a review against the company, but they are part of the problem for not controlling what their freelancers publish. I hired a freelancer to help me with a task I couldn’t figure out due to a lack of time. So, I went on Fiverr to look for someone. I found a freelancer named Anada A and selected the basic service, which was priced at $20.
The task was simply to open a port in a firewall—something that, if you truly consider yourself a networking specialist, should take no more than five minutes. This so-called "networking specialist" accepted the order, but once it was confirmed, he reached out and demanded more money. This infuriated me because it’s an unethical tactic that takes advantage of customers' needs.
It’s not about the money—it’s about respecting what you offer. If you advertise a service at a certain price, you can’t change it after the customer has already placed the order. But that’s exactly what happened. I saw the price was $20, I placed an order, and then he changed the terms. Fiverr should take action against freelancers who list services at low prices just to attract customers, only to later increase the cost unfairly.
I had a terrible experience with this freelancer, and I won’t be using this platform anymore.
