My issue is with the Grubhub customer service. After I placed an order, I saw they had the wrong location done for the item to be delivered. Turns out the zip code was wrong. I went to Grubhub chat and they were not able initially to resolve the issue. All it should have taken was for the customer service rep to reach to the driver. The driver attempted to reach out to me and only texted some of the time instead of all the time like I requested. After 2-3 chats, I gave up on having it delivered. It shows up as being delivered. Who knows where it wound up?Wasted precious time dealing with grubhub. When I had more time, I reached out again to chat--Carlos R. was able to help and promised a refund. Will not be using Grubhub in the future--between the fees and service---it's not worth it. Two stars because the last rep was helpful.

Grub Hub customer service is terrible at best. When you call them about a refund, for an order that was not received, they happily send you a re-fund/cancellation notice that takes 3-5 business day to process. You will not get your refund! And you and call and call, and customer service will actively address your "concerns". And continue to tell you how sorry they are and they understand your frustration. At the end of the day, you WILL NOT get your REFUND. The stress for a small dollar amount of $25 and continued phone calls and follow up is not worth it. Just don't use Grub Hub. There are many other better options. Grub Hub charges exorbitant fees anyway, Many restaurants are not interested to use them. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

The driver delivered to the address, not us. He supposedly left the food at the doorstep. It was not there. He was supposed to hand the food to us, which never happened. It was our 44th anniversary, and no food!

I ordered what I thought was a good dinner from Shane’s rib shack last night. Half a chicken with a side of potato salad with peach cobbler for dessert. Sound yummy. I thought so too. Unfortunately I didn’t get to eat it. I am mobility impaired. Cannot do stairs. There were explicit delivery instructions as to where to deliver the meal. It was not delivered where I asked but on to of a flight of stairs so I had no meal last night. I would like a refund but I cannot find a number or web address to apply for one.

Terrible. I will be filing charges against them. Absolutely disgusting how you can promise someone food in a certain amount of time and no driver ever ends up showing up and a kid that is young that has diabetes is depending on that food. Absolutely disgusting I will be seeing you soon in court.

I ordered pizzas for my building staff. An hour post eta , i called the pizza shop. Shop said that the order was ready and had been sitting there for an hour. No Grubhub. I called Grubhub. The person said she would look into it and get back to me. Ten minutes later Grubhub cancelled the order. Called the pizza place told them what happened. Still wanted pizzas. They said they would make fresh ones. Called Uber Eats had pizzas in 30 minutes. Shame on GrubHub. Yah Uber Eats.

Yet another issue with grubhub delivery. On today's mission to feed my family the grubhub delivery driver stole my food. First thought was damn I guess he smelled that pizza, and thought it was good enough to steal. After reporting this to the customer service, they refused to give me a refund. Instead they offered me a discount that had a value that was less than the food that I ordered. So not only did I tip the driver that stole from me, but I also provided him with dinner. Needless to say, I reported Grubhub to the BBB, and will be calling my bank to reverse the charges. This will be my last dealing with this company good riddance.

First time using GrubHub and decided to try it to order from a restaurant that was about 20 minutes down the road… Tried to contact the driver and GrubHub to cancel order due to it being so late past ETA. First chat assistant was sarcastic and ended the chat conversation by stating I should provide feedback on the chat experience but did not allow me the ability to do so. The next chat person was very helpful at least, and after much back-and-forth I was able to cancel the order. But unfortunately for the driver he had already arrived right as we got a resolution and was obviously irritated that I declined the order since it had been canceled. They did try to make it right by canceling and providing a coupon for future orders but we definitely will not use them again. Will use door Nasher Uber eats for future. Not to say they haven’t had issues but I’ve never once had to cancel an order or had so many issues like I have with GrubHub.

If I could give them a 0, I would. We ordered from GrubHub twice. The first time around, we ordered a pick-up. They texted us 10 minutes after the food was supposed to be ready to let us know that the restaurant had closed down. In the meantime, we waited and the account was charged. The second time around, the restaurant gave the driver the wrong food. The driver called GrubHub with me standing there and was told, that us as customers had to call them. When we called them, we were told, they had to call the driver to confirm the story. WTF GrubHub?

Spend $50 on a meal because of massive delivery fees. Wait 2 hours and never receive order. Have to track down delivery driver who refuses to bring the order to the home. Chat and call to get my refund. This occurs multiple times at random. But the good news is you get a coupon for more Grubhub!

They starting billing my credit card monthly without my authorization. It was an Apple Card, I had to change my Apple password that caused a whole chain of problems with my devices. A really huge pain. Watch your credit card bill after using Grubhub.

Grubhub really got no customer service, those stupid account advisor never reply email or return your call, call restaurant care and told me they dont have their phone number too only can thru email and ask to talk to manger, sorry you got no chance, wht is such company, terrible terrible

I wouldn't even rate them a 1 if I had the option. I have had issues with 3 of my orders, first time I received a text that food was delivered, however I never got it. Second time I left a specific message for driver to text or call me on arrival to confirm delivery was made, thankfully he did text and said he put food on my porch, when I didn't receive it he realized he left it on my neighbor's porch. Well the last and final time I will ever order thru Grubhub again, I got a text saying food was delivered and sure enough I never received it. I called restaurant to confirm order was picked up and it was, but I never got it delivered to me. I will never order thru Grubhub again, their drivers are incompetent.

Had to cancel the order twice on the same day with two different restaurants, one because it keeps changing the ATA time and was taking to long. The other was that showed as delivered when order was not delivered. Ordered with door dash and delivery was fast, even with pictures as proof of delivery.

June 9, 2022. Ordered at 5:30 pm. We texted Driver 10 times to help her get here. She and her “boyfriend” thought they new better. 2 hrs later….. PS. There’s no way to get to n Garland Ct, Chicago, without going on Michigan avenue. But they tried anyways. For 1 hr. Meanwhile we watched the little app car spin and turn. I stood downstairs watching everyone else get their deliveries, and finally when she arrived, I had to listen to her lie about traffic. There was no heavy traffic. Not on Michigan, and I don’t think in her neurons either. This is the problem with inexperienced, non professional delivery people. And the restaurant won’t take any responsibility, but they should because these drivers are ruining their customer base. Why would I ever use GrubHub again? THEN…. We called GrubHub on their “Satisfaction Guarentee”. And all they offered us was $15. Cold mushy food, 2 hr wait, AND they make you tip up front (which we did just under 25%) and that’s not reversible when service is unsatisfactory. I expect a full refund when this happens. My appetite was so totally ruined I couldn’t even eat the food in my frig much less the El Mesquite Taqueria (great food but terrible cold)

Grub hub sucks! They take your order and 2’hours later (when anything else has closed) they tell you “something happened” and they cancelled the order! WTF?!!!?

18 times my orders have been canceled more than an hour after I placed the order. This only has happened with Grub Hub. Door Dash has never done this. Yes, I received a refund each time, but they doesn’t make the fact that I wait an hour or more for an order, then it is canceled, with no obvious reason. One time I made an order at Subway with Grub Hub and it was cxl’d. I made the same exact order minus two items minutes later with Door Dash. I received the order from Door Dash in 30 minutes. The same order, same items as the first order that I made. The problem isn’t with the restaurants, it’s with Grub Hub. Very disappointed. Obviously Grub Hub doesn’t have very good reviews with a 1.1 rating.
