Visited the new Peterlee store, it's a huge store but during the pandemic they need to be controlling the amount of people in there, queuing to get served I was 30th in the queue, then members of staff are puyting themselves in between the people queuing to put 1 bottle of pop on the shelf! I said if you'd said excuse me I would have moved, apparently she doesn't have to as she works there! The woman serving us wasnt wearigna face covering (fair enough if exempt) but chewing gum like a donkey isn't a nice look! Asked if I wanted a bag, I said yes please, so she Chucked 3 at me, I said I only need 1, she replied "I've charged you now" I WON'T BE BACK. ITS LIKE THEY'VE BEEN GIVEN A JOB 10MINUTES BEFORE OPENING AND CUSTOMER CARE SKILLS ARE ZERO

All through this pandemic Uttoxeter home bargains staff have been exceptional. From Chris the manager to Sharon on the tills. The service received from ALL staff has been A+. The prices have ensured that me and my family have been able to have access to essential items such as hand sanitizers to face masks and disinfectants. Scented candles to help relaxation and keep anxieties at bay to art and craft items to be creative and keep occupied whilst staying indoors, home bargains has it all! Thank You!!!!! Masks available if you have forgot to bring your own and hand sanitizer on the door with wipes for baskets at all times, Excellent!

I was in Home Bargains, Craigavon 3 nights ago. There was a group of 5 people all bunched together at the check out. two of them had masks leaving their noses exposed, another was not wearing a mask at all. They were breathing all over us customers and the young man at the check out. I challanged them and their response was rude and belligerent. Surely You can insist that only people wearing masks can shop in your stores or do you want another lockdown and more deaths?

Visited Hillsborough Sheffield today 14th Feb. No wipes or hand sanitizer out they were empty. At least 3 people not wearing masks and no one says anything to them! Messages over tannoy saying customers are important and please keep distance and use wipes and sanitizer on entry. Would have done if they were available ! I would have thought staff could refuse to serve people not wearing masks. If your company is concerned about customers they should look after the ones that abide by the rules. B &M bargains and Wilko and other shops in walking distance. Please up your game! Put signs on door saying no mask no admittance. We are in middle of a pandemic! If stores can ban shoplifters surely they can stop these people entering.

I'm sorry to say that during our last shopping experience in Home Bargin we notice a lot of customers were allowed in the store with out face masks in the Wolverhampton store on Stafford street. Due to Covid and the very high rate of infections in Wolverhampton we are all asked to follow the guideline as set out by health officials. Other stores in the city centre insist the wearing of face masks before being allowed in the store and if there is no compliance then entry is not allowed to protect fellow shoppers some of which could be deemed vulnerable and at risk. Surely we are all responsible for the protection of one another, especially in these critical times. Wolverhampton is itself among the highest levels of infection and therefore everyone and each establishment should promote every measure to protect each other locally and within our tight communities. There were too many in that store who don't recognise the dangers of ignorance. We thought this should be brought to your attention especially when more are dying of covid related illnesses in our area. To say that store supervision can not insist on wearing face mask does not promote a safe shopping experience for many of your customers. Could you please reply to my review as I would like to know your thoughts on this matter. Kind regards D. Dawes

I find the service in every home bargain store I have visited far superior to any other major retailer. Staff in almost every other supermarket make you feel as though you are an interruption to their work and not the purpose of it. Certainly not the case in home bargains . Can never fault it

Disgusting i was left paying insurance and finance on my car while awaiting to hear from them and ended up having to pay to repair it myself as mot was due and as a carer i relay on my car ! Disgracefull treatment from such a big company intend to take this matter to small claims court to be resolved i have all emails and photographs to back up this matter !

I visited your Stanningley branch and couldn't find what I was looking for. I came across an assistant tall slim with long dark hair I think her name was Julie. I asked her where the item was and she was very polite and took me straight to the item. Even though she was busy she broke off to help me. She wished me a good day and I left with a smile. Nice to see happy staff in these tough times

I am a carer and I usually get needed materials for my client in Poole retail park. The staff is always very helpful. One of the staff members(Alexander) was very courteous and accommodating on the 6th of this month. He was very good indeed.

I visited the Home Bargains store in Penrith today and want to tell you about the marvellous staff you have there. I asked the manageress if there were any more giant cuddly dogs left she explained they were waiting for an order. She was so pleasant. I bought 1 cuddly dog and 1 cuddly bear and whilst waiting at the till queuing in the aisle a young man and the manageress i think her name was Rebecca were carrying a huge box of toys round the busy store looking for me to exchange the bear for the cuddly dog. I was so grateful to them, a delivery had just arrived! Marvellous service. Then Helen at the till helped me with my large toys and shopping, she was kind, helpful and cheery. Nothing was a bother. The store was very busy too. I was so impressed with everything. A joy to shop there thank you so much. Stephanie Wigham

Lovely new shop in Holyhead. Sadly, they do not take covid measures very seriously. Young staff walking around and on tills with no masks. Also allow young mothers to enter with no masks and smirking at other shoppers. Will be going to Poundland next door next time as I feel safer there!

Visited the store in talks pits yesterday as I regularly do. Was served by a very rude, ignorant young man called Josh on till 3. He virtually threw my goods down the belt at me and then proceeded to throw my till receipt. I had to stretch across the counter to pick up the two receipts. He showed no apologies for his attitude and was downright rude. If this is the quality of employees home bargains are taking on then they must be desperate and have no standards. This young man should not be serving the general public. Real bad attitude which was totally uncalled for.

Visited the store in Fallowfield Manchester. No staff were wearing masks and only half the customers. I complained to HO and their reply was that maybe the staff have an exemption certificate and the do 'encourage' the wearing of masks. Perhaps they should enforce masks I don't believe all the staff are exempt!

I love home bargains the items that are stocked are brilliant most of the staff are great friendly lovely people,on this occasion it was the harborne store,I'd picked up some pain killers the ticket stated 99p put them with my other shopping, went to the tills just asked the cashier which was not one of the regular girls to check the price for to make sure it went through at 99p she checked and said that they were 1.79 got do you want them not asked her to get the manager to check which she did,she was ok but the attitude of the cashier I think was pretty off,I was only wanting the product at the price it stated, then she starts pushing the items through like I caused her a big problem,I shop in there a lot and love the store and the staff by this girl who really needs to get some people skills I work in retail and if I treated my customers that way they wouldn't be happy,if they don't like the job whey do it it's working with the public,or saying that she's shop floor, and they call them to the tills when busy, they obviously hate it, again most of the staff are lovely, but she ruined my shopping experience today, thankfully when I went into marks and Spencers my experience in there totally different wonderful customer service your treated like a human being.
