The disrespect that I received today in spoons was outrageous. I felt targeted by one of the waitresses Who repeatedly pointed at me every time I walked past the bar or whenever she came upstairs on the balcony

Visited the Prince of Wales in Cardiff and on the back of it will never go to a Weatherspoon again. Rude, no customer service, no management. On their web page it mentions meet and exceed customers expectations. I feel staff training is needed because you have failed on so many levels. I am so angry I can hardly write.

My self my sister 2 young nieces and my daughter visited Exeter st David’s for 1 night we found the imperial pub and was happy thinking after over 3 hours travelling we could feed the children rather quickly and could get back to our hotel at a reasonable time to get the children in bed. The security staff were fab and helpful and found us a quiet area to sit at with the children as it was very busy. We sat down placed our orders at the same time but paid separate. My sisters order came rather quick but wasn’t very warm seemed it was maybe chucked in a microwave. After 5 minutes a member of staff came and asked what was missing from our table as they have a big ticket but can’t remember what was sent out. So I gave them my order number and was told it would be just a couple of minutes. 30minutes later myself and my daughter still had no food and we were no longer able to eat as a family with my sister and nieces as their meal was already almost cold when it came so they couldn’t leave it longer to wait for mine. I waited another 5-10 mins and went found a member of staff and asked what’s happened. I was then told 2 minutes the chef can Chuck it together (I assumed this meant that’s how long would take to warm it in the microwave) so I asked for a refund so we could leave and get the children to the hotel to bed but this meant myself and my 8 year old left without having dinner. My drinks came from my order (after 30mins) but no food and my sisters food came but no drinks.

Visited The Imperial in Exeter yesterday lunchtime . We ordered drinks promptly but had to wait 40 minutes for the drinks to be delivered to the table. In the meantime whilst we were waiting we ordered food on line. The food delivery time was quite normal when we ordered the food we ordered a non alcoholic drink. Although the food arrived within a reasonable time the non alcoholic drink arrived after we had finished our meal. The explanation given by the young waiter was that they were overwhelmed with orders from the students who were sitting outside in the original car park. Clearly not enough staff on duty. The majority of the car park spaces have been taken up with tables & canopies. No disabled parking spaces ! Absolutely disgraceful service. Never again !

Plimsoll Line at Redcar. Offensive nasty member off staff bullying and being abusive to disabled customer who was attending with a carer. Also member of staff dressed more like it was a strip bar than a pub. Kids were present and when she was walking around everything could be seen as her 3 inch skirt was riding up, transparent tights on, nothing left to the imagination!

Went into my local spoons with a friend both wearing our masks, sat down as it was table service. 2 women regularly approached the bar to talk to staff neither of which were wearing masks Staff ignored this as the were from a specific community type. No prizes for guessing which one !! Reverse discrimination I feel!!! I have not mentioned which one as I will probably get barred for bringing this to your attention. I doubt I will be returning in the forseeable future anyway. Customer service was good as ever but have given it 1 star for the above reason.

My partner and I went into you’re guildford branch on Tuesday for the steak deal we were told that we couldn’t have the steak on the discount government scheme and were told we would have to pay more money for the o her steak the steak was rubbish cheap rubbish tasted like liver and had been reheated so at the end we told the waitress and she said yea everyone’s saying the same so stop ripping people off and being greedy and start serving the steaks you’re supposed to on the government scheme instead of lining you’re pockets and serving rubbish steak it wasn’t even worth the money we paid for it.

Absolutely disgusting and rude staff. I talked for the staff of "The Ice Wharf" in Camden,London. I been last Sunday with two of my friends to celebrate my name's day.I had bad luck to order my food and wine to one of the staff-black pretty girl. During the my order I ask her something about the food and drink and I didn't understand why she started to do complain for my question. She give me some lecture how I must asked her.It was totally suppressed me.I didn't see anything and continue to my order. I paid and waiting for my bill. She look at me like animal and asked me what I want.I told her "I waiting for my bill "and she started to shout to me rudely"You must to see "please ".I can't explain how I feel. I not going to see her "please ".She was rude and irresponsible . I feel like stupid, because I paid for her salary and she's ....I never will back again in some of the Wetherspoons and not will recommend for anyone. The owner need to check his staff more carefully. They are rude and don't care how clients feel.

I would like to bring to your attention the awful and demoralising behaviour my Uncle has experienced in one of your pubs this week. My Uncle has been going to The Mannamead pub (Mutley plain, Plymouth) on a weekly, and sometimes daily basis for over 30 years. He is an elderly, single man who enjoys going to your pub to get out of his house, not feel alone and to generally boost his own mental health. This week however, he was turned away by one of your employees because HE WAS ALONE, and was told this would take up a table that could sit 4 people, this is absolutely disgusting. I was mortified when he told me he could not come in because he doesn’t know anyone inside. Who, i ask, do your staff think they are? He has been drinking in that pub for longer than a lot of those employees have been alive. I would also like to add, this is not one of your “peak times” you state on your website it was a time when it is mentioned that anyone is welcome. I ask, how is this a policy of wetherspoons, who are meant to be a welcoming and enjoyable place for people to go. I completely understand the guidelines that are in place, with social distancing etc but how can one of your policies be that if someone is ALONE they cannot enter the pub. If this is a wetherspoons policy, please explain the understanding behind this, as I cannot in any way see how this can be justified. This is the saddest policy I have ever heard if this is one for all wetherspoons pubs, I am trying to believe that this is not a policy and is just one horrible employee that has been hired and is discriminating against an elderly man who is alone. My uncle has spent months in lockdown alone and was pleased when the pubs reopened as this is where he spends his time. I honestly can’t put into words how upset and shocked I was to hear he could not go for a quiet drink where he attended on an almost daily basis before lockdown. My Unlce lives 6 hours away from my family so us going with him to sort this out is not feasible, so I would appreciate it if this bizarre and shocking issue was cleared up with The Mannamead pub and my Uncle was not refused entry the next time he tries to go into the pub.

Horrible duty manager. Kept reciting to smokers how “he remembered his first pint” when actually I don’t drink this month due to my charity challenge for Cancer Research UK. Horrible man as I completed accepted the pub was at full capacity due to COVID-19, I left and came back around 30 minutes later and the same situation which I was happy to leave again but instead he continued to insult me by saying he “remembered his first pint” which I am insulted by and haven’t stopped crying since. Will not be visiting again, thanks Oxford. Please see photo of a smiling duty manager as he watched me cry because of his actions, also please see link below to my charity challenge I’m which I am sober for... https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/alicesmarathoninamonthchallenge

The only thing repugnant about Wetherspoons is Tim Martin. He does not deserve the staff he treats so badly and his consideration for the health of his customer base is heartless.

With their 1980s tank-tops and ripped jeans, your average punter at Wetherspoons, Harlow soon lets you know you have just entered a chav-friendly zone. Watch out for the double-buggies blocking the way through, pushed by biceps-bulging, hairy-chinned, nose-pierced tattooed customers...and that's just the women. Save your money and reputation for somewhere more classy - McDonalds for instance.

I've been in a few times for breakfast which has been cold and I've sent it back too . Once my eggs look like they been under the hot plate for 3 hours . Sorry Aldershot the food is lovely not a bad word for that but breakfast is always cold . I also tried a bacon sandwich and that was cold , I think you need to get a new breakfast chef someone that knows what they are doing . Cold food is not a good look .

Where do i start. . Went to King's Lynn Wetherspoon's today with sister and friends. At the bar we were told food would take 20 mins. However it didn't turn up till an hour later. After asking twice where it had got to. Waitress staff was very rude. My sisters chicken was as tough of old boots. Everybody was fed up and complaining about the wait. Maybe they should take a leaf out of the great yarmouth one. They cope with summer trade. Plus the staff are friendly , and food is piping hot. They cope under pressure. Why , can't the King's Lynn one? Plus i was ill on the way home. Steer clear if you're in your lunch hour people,
