Refund - Difficult

Ihave been waiting 5 weeks for a refund of £70 on a faulty toaster .I have phoned customer service team several times,waiting up to 40 mins before they answer.They then put me through to another dept .only. to be cut off . Each one tells me it is being sorted.Still waiting.Does it take 5 weeks for £70 to be refunded into the bank. The worst customer team I have ever experiencied.It has been so stressful.

Cannot believe how bad John Lewis has got!! I purchased a product for next day delivery click and collect on the 17th December, I needed it for a gift for the 19th, it didn't arrive at the store and was sent elsewhere (error of John Lewis) I phoned to organise a refund as I had to buy the gift elsewhere to get it in time.

Hopefully, you bought on your credit card (which I didn't) and, I wouoe highly reconmend that you chase up your refund with them.

John Lewis & Partners I have more than a month since I ordered something on your site for which I paid £400 and you sent me instead some beauty products worth £30 and an invoice with the details of another person and even if I notified you straight away and I sent you back the wrong product, I'm still waiting for you to refund my money.

Avoid ordering anything online from John Lewis. I ordered a glass on 27th November and I still haven’t received it. Customer services weren’t helpful and now aren’t replying at all to my emails. I have not had a refund nor an apology. I wish I’d read reviews before I’d ordered. Don’t make the same mistake as me.

Only after 4 months and lodging papers with small claims court did I get a refund.

Sold a faulty and dangerous childrens toy. Customer Services and after sales team promised to resolve but still waiting over a week on. After 2 phone calls and 5 e mails I have given up and going back for a full refund. Their service is dreadful

I reported the fault to JL Customer service and as promptly told it was up to me to sort the issue out directly with LG, which I thought strange as it was JL I had paid my money too ! Having reported the fault to LG and waiting four weeks without contact I went back to JL explaining how wasn't prepared to continue chasing LG they were the people I had paid and I had tried to take their route for repair and wanted either a refund or replacement as the product was under six months old.
