I visited the Dumfries Lidl store tonight, I really feel the male Checkout Operator with glasses & beard & overweight needs to either have a personality transplant or find another job, he is one miserable, abrupt & dour guy who just makes you feel, you know what, I'm going to Aldi in future.

I wanted to protest against the way I was treated first by the cashier, who turned out to be the store manager, and then, at his request, by the customer service staff of the Lidl supermarket in Harrogate. I wanted to make a complaint about the manager of the Lidl store in Harrogate on Knasborough rd. I was shopping in this store today Saturday 4 January 2025, around 4:00 PM. I went to the checkout with my purchases, paid, received a bill that seemed too high to me. I checked it and it turned out that one of the cold cuts which after a 50% discount from £1.99 should have been counted at £0.99. So I went to the cashier with a complaint to take into account the discount. He refunded me £0.70. So after a while I tried to go back to the checkout because the difference was bigger. I wasn't served. I was told to leave the store and get back to the end of the long queue. When I did that and got in the queue the salesperson turned off the cash register and said he was no longer serving. He told me to go to another line. When I got there he radioed another cashier to ask me to leave the store. When I wanted to talk to the store manager he said he was the one. How can a person who can't see a markdown and can't count to 2 occupy such a position? Good Evening, I am very shocked and disappointed by this decision and i will take further action. Firstly I would like to request a reason for by I am banned from the store. As I recall, the cashier got my change wrong so I went back to ask him to have a look. He told us to join the back of the queue which I patiently did. After some waiting in his queue, he maliciously decide to close the whole till. I then went to the next till as he directed me to do. For some reason, in his time he radioed the other cashier. The next day I received a response to my complaint about a ban on shopping in this store for a period of 1 year. Complete lack of respect for consumer rights. It is unacceptable to treat a customer in this way who systematically spends £200-250 in this store every week on family shopping, that is, about £12,000 per year. I didn't steal anything, I didn't offend anyone, and I was treated like a thief and a troublemaker. What are the legal grounds for depriving a consumer of buying food for their family? I will ask for an apology for such treatment and the possibility of returning to me shopping at the supermarket closest to my house. Please help me with this.

As soon as I stepped though the door a staff member or sercuity guard was almost shoulder to shoulder with me he didn’t have much on his uniform to identify himself , I just ignored it and continued my shopping but I noticed he was stood right near me , as a female shopping by myself I did not like that at all , I actually work in a large supermarket with miter sercuity guards and they don’t stand that close to customers in there personal space I had a basket I was not putting my hands in my pocket I didn’t have a bag , I honestly do not know why I was targeted as soon as I stepped though the door . This is the last time I will be coming in didn’t speak to the store manager as was to upset from the whole experience and just wanted to leave will not be coming in again it was the long Eaton store

Visited Lidl 2 days running, staying about 30 minutes each time - but got a £100 fine from Parkingeye for staying in the Car Park for, supposedly 23 hours. Ridiculous - and I won't pay - but have to go through the hassle of appealing. Don't go there. And - the prices are not so cheap as they were, the fruit and veg are always unripe - and never ripen, the meat products are poor quality, as are the sweets. There really is no reason to go there anymore.

Pork Pies Deluxe These have to be the worst pork pies forsale in the UK even including Park Farm. Totally tasteless and like bitting into sawdust wrapped in rubbery pastry. Its sad to see Lidl's selling cheap rubbish like some of the other so called leading supermarkets

During the month of November my wife and I have spent over 350 pounds. Yesterday whilst at the till we were informed that the system was down , therefore we never received our 10% off our shop. Quite unfair in my opinion

We opened 2 cans of Deluxe French Onion and Red wine soup for lunch today. It was far too sweet, completely tasteless and not pleasant to eat. Very disappointed.

Clean, always full and staff are happy (which goes a long way if the customer like me see the staff happy in their job) got my weekly shop this morning and it makes my day. Two years ago this place was awful! Whoever has turned it around congratulations!! Would not shop anywhere else in town now! Well done Haverhill lidl (nice to see some good here)!!

Out of all the Lidl stores in my local area, Halesowen stands out as the best. Why? The staff work hard to ensure the bakery is stocked ready for opening time. The appearance of the shelves and aisles is neat. The variety of produce and non food offers is good - e.g. I rarely find Comice pears yet they have them. The staff are helpful and friendly. They even checked the storeroom for some crisps not yet on the shelf, that I was looking for, with success. Of course, there are occasions when they are short-staffed or the stock isn't out yet but they work hard and try their best to get it right. It doesn't give frustrated customers the permission to be rude to staff which I have witnessed at times.

I shopped in your Tovil store yesterday and I have to say the blue baskets you to put your shopping in as you go around were discussing. They were all dirty really dirty

We tried really simply to find out the country of origin of food we purchased. The Lidlcustomer service processes are an impenetrable nightmare.

I purchased 2 tins of your new Deluxe French Onion & Red Wine Soup, from your Loudwater store, High Wycombe. It was the worse soup I’ve ever tasted, so sweet & the texture in my mouth was very glutinous, quite disgusting. I’ll be taking the one remaining tin back to the store for a refund.
