I love the Lidl high protein range of desserts and the Chef Selection High Protein ready meals, however, I tried the Chicken Shawarma and OMG, it is the worst thing I have ever tasted in my 60 years on earth! It's like eating a bowl of salt! Absolutely disgusting. Tried to upload pic but won't let me.

Never normally write reviews but have to warn don't part with £2.49 of your hard earned money on the chilled Butter Chicken Curry with rice, it's tasteless, watery and a complete waste of money, and quite honestly the worst 'microwave meal' I've ever had ! it might as well be vegan Chicken because the chicken tastes of absolutely nothing! Many years ago I worked for the Co op headoffice and was part of a 'taste test' group, I would strongly suggest that Lidl do the same ? If you already have a taste test group then sack them ! This ready meal is disgusting.

We went to Lidl in Minehead, Somerset. Amongst other things we bought one bag of (six) Breamar apples and two nets of "satsumas". When we arrived home and unpacked, two of the apples were badly bruised (cut them in half and the bruise was all the way through) and the "satsumas" were extremely difficult to peel and were as dry as anything once peeled. From now on we will not buy any fruit or vegetables in Lidl, we will go to Tesco which is much better value for money.

It did not. Greek week. Asked assistant where the tinned black olives were. He called a superior. Response: no tinned olives. How disappointing and a very sharp response. No customer TLC.

I’ve Emailed them to tell them several times that their meat . Pizzas and some furniture and vegetables are rotten . This happens too often which leads me to think that the staff are too stretched to put their fresh produce deliveries away on time . So the produce goes off quicker or is off at the time of purchase . This time is was the mouldy celery which my wife noticed before we ate it

Please please please Lidl, can you stop allowing local shop owners, buying your products in massive bulk, and selling your products for 3x price in their private shops. For 2 months now, I couldn't find products, that I have been buying from Lidl for years. I have witnessed this happening on 5 occasions now, local shop owners buying all the boxes of dog treats, tin products, milk, cheese, meat (anything and everything), to sell in their shops at 3X the sale price. I have to shop elsewhere now, after 15 years shopping in Lidl. I am based in Barcelona, but the staff don't care here, Lidl stores are badly run here, shelves are always empty, as the Lidl products are sold in massive bulk, (not to customers but business owners) and are being sold in other shops, I miss Lidl products, but can't afford to pay 3 x price! Sad day for customers.

I visited the Dumfries Lidl store tonight, I really feel the male Checkout Operator with glasses & beard & overweight needs to either have a personality transplant or find another job, he is one miserable, abrupt & dour guy who just makes you feel, you know what, I'm going to Aldi in future.

I wanted to protest against the way I was treated first by the cashier, who turned out to be the store manager, and then, at his request, by the customer service staff of the Lidl supermarket in Harrogate. I wanted to make a complaint about the manager of the Lidl store in Harrogate on Knasborough rd. I was shopping in this store today Saturday 4 January 2025, around 4:00 PM. I went to the checkout with my purchases, paid, received a bill that seemed too high to me. I checked it and it turned out that one of the cold cuts which after a 50% discount from £1.99 should have been counted at £0.99. So I went to the cashier with a complaint to take into account the discount. He refunded me £0.70. So after a while I tried to go back to the checkout because the difference was bigger. I wasn't served. I was told to leave the store and get back to the end of the long queue. When I did that and got in the queue the salesperson turned off the cash register and said he was no longer serving. He told me to go to another line. When I got there he radioed another cashier to ask me to leave the store. When I wanted to talk to the store manager he said he was the one. How can a person who can't see a markdown and can't count to 2 occupy such a position? Good Evening, I am very shocked and disappointed by this decision and i will take further action. Firstly I would like to request a reason for by I am banned from the store. As I recall, the cashier got my change wrong so I went back to ask him to have a look. He told us to join the back of the queue which I patiently did. After some waiting in his queue, he maliciously decide to close the whole till. I then went to the next till as he directed me to do. For some reason, in his time he radioed the other cashier. The next day I received a response to my complaint about a ban on shopping in this store for a period of 1 year. Complete lack of respect for consumer rights. It is unacceptable to treat a customer in this way who systematically spends £200-250 in this store every week on family shopping, that is, about £12,000 per year. I didn't steal anything, I didn't offend anyone, and I was treated like a thief and a troublemaker. What are the legal grounds for depriving a consumer of buying food for their family? I will ask for an apology for such treatment and the possibility of returning to me shopping at the supermarket closest to my house. Please help me with this.

As soon as I stepped though the door a staff member or sercuity guard was almost shoulder to shoulder with me he didn’t have much on his uniform to identify himself , I just ignored it and continued my shopping but I noticed he was stood right near me , as a female shopping by myself I did not like that at all , I actually work in a large supermarket with miter sercuity guards and they don’t stand that close to customers in there personal space I had a basket I was not putting my hands in my pocket I didn’t have a bag , I honestly do not know why I was targeted as soon as I stepped though the door . This is the last time I will be coming in didn’t speak to the store manager as was to upset from the whole experience and just wanted to leave will not be coming in again it was the long Eaton store
