Horrendous, new Chesterfield store. Not cheap compared to Aldi, car parking highly unsuitable just caters for people with kids, us old folk have long walk. At check out kept going rammed by child with small shopping trolley. On next checkout was a child in pyjamas screaming none stop, her mother said she was poorly, get this, she was sitting on the food conveyor, so much for hygiene. Had the worst ever cashier who did not know codes for most items and had to keep asking for them. We were in the store for ages, NEVER again. Compared to Aldi Morrisons etc they are pathetic.

Best company ever. I had few jobs until now but I had to admit that it was my best choice that I joined this company last year. Really nice team almost like a family, good staff , and good employee discounts and a nice manager.

Today I have been served by a Store Manager called Norris at the lidl shop based on longbridge road London. The shelf price was showing a discounted price on the shelf for the items I purchased but the price on the items was at full price. I told manager about this price issue but he was so hard and didn't want to listen and said the right price will scan at the checkout which was a full price. I did ask him if he could override it because the shelf price I was looking at when I took the products was different. He totally refused to do anything about it not even apologise . This experience left me really down about Lidl. They going to loose a customer because of this

Rude abrupt cashier at Honiton. This is not the first time and a visit to the Aldi store opposite is a totally different experience. Good value shouldn’t result in cheap demeaning service. Aldi always gets my custom from today

I enjoy shopping here, they are great value for money, I used to shop at Tesco but Lidl is so much cheaper, also they have a good selection of items for the home and garden, love it 😍

Security guys and even the staff look bad to us and they think every single costumer is a thief.

I have been buying Lidl's Low Fat Rice pudding for some years now. Recently they changed the can from a ring pull one to a standard can but unfortunately the contents were changed also. The rice pudding instead of being thick and creamy, is now very runny with no substance to it and little flavour. I won't be purchasing the product again. They should have increased the price rather than cutting back on quality.

Usually happy with most products,. Although there are something’s I won’t purchase. Oakland’s potatoes have in the past not been brilliant but this weeks purchase half the bag are rotten. Took them back and store not open technical problems. Lidl need to check their suppliers better. Not sure if I will return them or continue to shop there.

Lidl France not UK Frenchmale 1 post Lidle Montparnasse Unpleasant Experience Jul 13, 2019, 6:39 PM Save I am disabled on a wheel chair. As such I purchase somewhat larger quantities as I am unable to go shopping frequently. After spending three hours shopping I took my turn in the disabled check out lane. When my turn came and after the clerk started to check me out an angry manager came and stopped the process. He complained that I am buying too much. I must split my cart into two; check out the first half and pay for it; then go back in line and wait a new turn to check out the 2nd half of the cart. Yes unbelievable but that is what happened. I told her I have already waited 20 minutes my turn and I cannot do that. Then the manager said you cannot check out and proceeded to take away the shopping back to the store and asked other staff to return them to myself. I asked for a higher manager. She would not call one. When I remind she at last called somebody who said we will check you out but it was too late as already she took away all the shopping back wasting 3 hours of my time. I wrote registered letters to Lidle Manager Mr. Fuschs, top Hum,anm Resources and to Lidl headquarters in Germany. Two and half weeks later no answer from anybody. If you are disabled as you maybe discriminated against by no less than a Lidl manager. Also management does not care. The usual experience at most groceries is to be taken to the top of the lined if you are disabled and not to que in line twice for the same purchase. I will never go back to Lidl and I advise that if you are disabled avoid that store.

Tried the wine and fruit and veg for the first time this week at the new store at Hersham, Surrey. Barolo at £9.95 was almost undrinkable. Tipped away after one glass. The staff are friendly and well trained and the prices are low, but the quality definitely suffers. Bottom end of the market in value. I will not be back.

Today we shopped at Lidl Bath. It was not a good experience. We have shopped Aldi Melkshan for some time and have been impressed by the qualtity of the goods, especially the meat products, the wine, and the checkout experience. Todays visit to Lidl Bath couldn't have been more different. The fresh fruit and veg was very poor with much being mouldy. Many products had not been replenished. As for the checkout experience, well, very poor. A previous customer had dropped a pack of bottles of beer. These were just pushed to one side but not mopped up. Half an hour later the whole checkout area was sticky and dirty. The staff were totally unconcerned about the state of the checkout area. I gat the feeling that the staff were ubconcernened about the customer and the stat of the store. Overall definately a long way behind Aldi.

Lidl don't have any warranties. on product says 3 years. when i contacted lidl several times to replace faulty product, they told me its wear and tear. basically you must keep product in box and don't use it. I will report lidl to trading standards and hopefully they will force them to change fake 3 year warranties to 6 month

As a frequent shopper at store “Lidl” I’m sad to say that I will no longer be wasting my money, which already seems to be STOLEN off of me, at this laughable excuse of a shop. I stopped at Lidl to buy food, bare in mind I ONLY went there because it was a Sunday and everywhere else was closed, I DISTINCTLY remember buying TWO 36p PRETZELS, and what did the total come to, you ask? £1.08. I do NOT remember purchasing a THIRD pretzel out of my OWN MONEY. Well, thanks to your POORLY PERFORMING workers, that’s 36 English newpence gone from my wages. Truly disappointed.

I visited this store this evening around 9pm today to purchase 4 pepsi bottles and 4 bottles of beer. 22nd June 2019. I suffer with carpal tunnel syndrome and sometimes struggle to pick up heavy items. I placed carefully 4 bottles of pepsi and 4 glass bottles of perlenbacher lager into my own large shopping bag and dragged them to the checkout. I explained to the cashier serving that I couldn't lift these heavy items and gave her a single bottle of each for her to scan and explained how many in my large bag I had, which by the way were very much visible plus your store manager saw me do this in the beer aisle. The cashier who only works once a week was rude to me and pushed passed me to check my bags. I am not disputing that she had a right to do so to prevent theft etc, however she didnt ask to check or even suggest that was her intention. I told her that I had nothing else and she gave me a look of disgust. I am a regular customer in that store and this is the 2nd time in 5 months that I have been made to feel victimised in this way in your store. The first time was regarding the security guard nick who thinks the store is his own and is a bully. Even your staff members, the nice ones agree with me. Anyway back to the matter. Your employee unpacked my bags, scanned all the items in my bag although I provided her with a single one of each to scan along with the quantity and she just dropped all 4 bottles of Pepsi ontop of the glass bottle. I'm annoyed by this point because I packed the bags to be able to leave the store so it was easier to carry out and she didnt care about the way she repackaged my bags upon assuming I was a thief. At this point I've told her about this and she shrugged her shoulders and said it wasnt her problem. I then walked out of the store, placed my items in my vehicle and returned to the store to get a replacement bottle as it was broken as a result of her incompetence. Your store manager at this point was assisting her with another customer and she took my bags off me as they getting the floor wet because the cashier broke the bottle. She denied doing this and denied that I explained I was struggling in the first place. Your manager was also very rude and it was only the nice male colleague who helped to diffuse the situation. It's a joke and both the cashier and the manager are complete and utter assholes. They have no clue how to speak to people and also made it clear that she was doing nothing about it. I purchased 2 bags on a previous visit and had to leave them there due to the broken glass within the bags and the beer too. I only had a replacement bottle and not replacement bags. I used to work for the warehouse in bridgend and always praised lidls for their products and store cleanliness and staff etc but this store in Newport house the worst staff I have ever encountered in my entire life.

When I bought nuts at Lidl Peterborough on 18th June around 12:45pm, I could have returned then in an instant . These were loose nuts, 3 different kinds. I tasted each kind (there was no notice saying I couldn’t taste or mix them for myself )They all cost £1.30/100g. So I scooped them in the same bag! They’re mine aren’t they? When I got to the till, the cashiers first question “why did you put them in the same bag?” I said, they cost the same and they’re mine to take home. Next question, “How do you think I’ll do the itenerary? I said I didn’t know. Third statement, “I also saw you snacking “. By now I’d had enough! How I professional, what customer care service training are these cashiers given???
