New Greek yogurt.. Lidl it's cheap tat. You had a great tasting version, it tasted like Greek yogurt, this replacement is vile cheap and nasty. You new vegetarian product, McCartney pies, vile.. Come on Lidl, I have used you for years, stay cheap yes, don't replace good food with junk. I have thrown the poles, the yogurts, taste cheap nasty.

Went to Lidl Langley Moor from Crook always felt comfortable in shop lovely helpful staff except Friday 15th Dec husband and I always go in shop together did not know shop had changed to one person shopper till manager I think came up to us in store with other people and couples to talk as loud as he could it was just one person allowed to shop only allowed 50in at a time and would we like to stand outside if other people couldn’t get in because of us . We both felt really embarrassed and humiliated especially as we didn’t know things had changed. If we had known no problem at all with just one of us going in . We are in our 80s and 70s not children

I swear if I didnt like a Lidl food I would have never stepped in to South Ockendon the store. What are disgusting service. Utterly unprofessional staff but what is more frustrating, the customer services on the phone are deluded and so useless. I can't even express my anger without swearing.

Shop at Lidl and do not concern yourself about social distancing or wearing a mask, you can enjoy a familly shopping experience as there is no limit on numbers. You can leave with the extra bonus of a Covid Virus, you can even leave yours in the shop in exchange. The staff and a manager told me that it is not their business to control shoppers. 13th June 2021 Orpington

Avoid visiting Thornton Heath during lockdown as this store is clearly not interested in Covid-19 compliance, no safe distancing maintained, a few people walking around without face masks including staff coming out of store room. Definitely a no go.

Beware of Lidl 3 year guarantee electrical products. I bought a 2 in 1 vac. manufactured By Hoyer which had a 3 year guarantee, it stopped working after just over a year, i took it to Lidl, was told to contact Hoyer, resulted in finding out that they have a policy of wear and tear which results in most claims being rejected. in my case they say that a lithium ion battery is not covered, i have a golf trolley with the same type of battery, its 3 year guarantee is for the 3 years, these type of batteries are very strong and long lasting and not a wear and tear excuse to get out the Guarantee as Hoyer do.

I have just been at Lidl in Woodley, it always looks untidy but the staff are always helpful . Looks like it could do with a makeover.

I don't like the app. I've been shopping for Lidls for years and I've had more discounts in the vouchers in the back of the magazines they give out in store, normally at £5 off every £25 shop. The app only offers £2 off a shop of you spend £100 at a time is a little pathetic and what I noticed is that it disappears after a certain time. I have recent started shopping in Tescos again because they have given me more value with the club card over the Christmas and New Year Period than Lidl have.

I bought the Lidl Silver slate turkey for our Christmas meal. I can honestly say it was the best turkey we have ever had from anywhere. So much meat on it and moist too, it was worth paying a bit more for such a fabulous product. Also thanks so much for the Lidl Plus card - just brilliant. Well done Lidl.

Got my first £2 voucher with the Lidl Plus app, but it disappeared after only a couple of days. Emailed Lidl and they asked for a load more details, which I sent and voucher was reinstated though I didn't get any apology or explanation as to what had happened. I now had 2 x £2 vouchers and a £1 scratchcard "win" on the Ap. Bought about £50 of shopping and the App didn't work....apparently it was my network provider (please note here that Aldi have internet instore). As all three vouchers were due to run out and I was passing lidl the next day I "popped in" to spend my vouchers, picked up 4 x £1.25 bottles of beer, queued to make the purchase, explained what had happened the previous day and that I just wanted to use the vouchers before they expired. Shop assistant said "Well for a start you cant use them on alcohol" (regardless of the fact that I had done a shop the previous day and still had the receipt with me). Determined to use my £5 I then went and picked up some pet supplies, queued again at a different till and tried to activate the vouchers, which I couldn't do. "you can only use one voucher per shop" I was told "Ahah" says I, "I will split my shop and make three separate purchases". "Yes you can do that but it might be a bit complicated, so I will get someone else to help you" So the saga came to an end and I eventually managed to use my vouchers, but what kind of "Loyalty Scheme" gives you the run around like this....all for the sake of a couple of quid? It's like Lidl, don't want you to use it. Note to Lidl...If you are going to have a "Customer Loyalty" scheme then at least make sure it is not difficult to use and that the customers aren't embarrassed by your store staff when they do try to use it. I am lucky, where I live the Lidl is only a couple of hundred metres from Aldi, so I think I know where I'll be doing the bulk of my shopping from now on, and judging by the pre-Christmas footfall in each shop I am not alone in my decision.

Lidl Plus is Useless. Had a two pound voucher on my Lidl Plus which disappeared after about 24 hrs. Emailed them and had to send a load more details, eventually £2 voucher was reinstated, but no word or explanation from Lidl. Then I got another £2 voucher and a £1 Scratchcard, took them all into store did about £50 of shopping and tried to redeem them....didn't work - I was told it was my network provider! As there was only a few days left on the vouchers I was passing lidl the next day, so went in to spend my £5 voucher, picked up 4 x bottles of beer at £1.25, and thought that would do nicely, queued at the till and was told "for a start you can't spend vouchers on alcohol" (regardless of the fact that I had purchased £50 of groceries the previous day and still had the receipt). Determined to spend my £5 I then went and bought just over £5 of dog treats, but alas when I got them to the till and tried to "activate" my vouchers I was told that each voucher had to be spent on an individual shop! "Ahah!" says I, "I will split my shop and make 3 purchases"..."Well yes, that's ok, but it might be complicated so I'll get someone else to deal with you" Finally got sorted but from start to finish the whole process has been a nightmare, luckily for me Aldi is only a couple of hundred yards from Lidl, think I will be shopping there more in future, and judging by the pre-christmas shoppers in each store I think I'm am not the only one feeling that way. Note to Lidl...if you are going to run some kind of customer loyalty scheme you won't get customer loyalty by making the scheme so difficult to use that it puts customers off...and certainly don't put customers in a position where they are embarrassed by your shop staff when trying to use the scheme!

It's Christmas morn , just taken the Turkey crown out of the fridge and it's not a turkey crown ,it's a normal turkey paid £16 for it ,,,it won't feed four days feeds 7to 9 on the packet but it's hollow ..it's going back Mon ,,thanks Lidl .

Their website advertised Ben Bracken whisky for £16.49. It was priced at £17.49 in store when I bought it (though it has since been reduced by £1.) When I complained to Customer Service , they were not very interested and offered NO refund. Absolutely appalling "customer service".

I cooked some fish from Lidl, when we started to eat it it was very obviously rotten. I contacted customer service because it is important sub standard food is looked into. I never heard back for 10 days despite a promise of response in 48 hours. So I called, I have gastric cancer and rotten food is very dangerous for me. Customer service could see there was a complaint ref number but in 10 days it had not been acted on. Also he said “your name is not in the complaint” this was rubbish as when I looked the acknowledgement was addressed to me by name. As if this was an excuse. Lidl obviously do not take food safety seriously. And lack concern for the customer. Cheap food is not the best. With my gastric cancer I could easily have ended up in hospital if I had continued to eat the fish. But no one should be sold rotten fish. To be scuppered by Lidl rotten fish after avoiding covid for 10 months would have been disgraceful.

I used a sun £10 off £40 spend I was over but because I had a 75p coupon on my card I did not get the £10 off I was told it had gone through to find out when home it had not plus they kept the voucher so will claim it back I rang to complain but was told they could not get through to store which when I left was not busy I find that the customer service can not do anything to help so pointless and I spent well over £50 in total very disappointed! A quarter of the food was for my local food bank as my good deed for Xmas even though I have been on furlough since March and it not great time to be on short wage I want to do somthing good !! One very disappointed person !

I’m voting with my feet and shopping elsewhere. I have been a loyal customer for decades but since ‘Lidl Plus’ started I have been ‘robbed’ of at least £15 in lost coupons I have earned which would not scan at the tills. Checkout staff tell me “ it’s nothing to do with us, you’ll have to contact Lidl Plus directly yourself ‼️‼️‼️

Friendly helpful and very good on price and the food in general is of a very high standard with lot of choice and options They cove every think you need fresh bread cake Ect meats of all kinds and free range eggs and many more also drinks are great value for the money and high quality. I also like the little bit of tools and clothes not to mention toys at great value going into Christmas. Also don’t forget to down load the app you save on your shopping and get email all the latest best offer and vouchers oh and they Deliver You really can’t ask for much more go on give them a try you won’t be sorry trust me.

The lidl app is a total rip. When you manage to spend over the target amount (£100 or £200) in any monthly period and receive a £2 or £10 coupon you can only redeem it at the next shop. Invariably by the time you get the voucher you have just a matter of days left to go shopping again before it becomes inactive, thereby forcing you into shopping early. This is a cynical, unfriendly and self serving product by Lidl.
