“Avoid. This company advertise one thing in the showrooms and then send you something that looks like what you are expecting but is of lesser quality (made in china!)
Please do not buy the Atlas set of Chester drawers like we did. Absolute rubbish .
The set we got, the drawers only open a very small amount , making it useless to get even the smallest of baby clothes in and out.
I went back to store to check what was going on. The units they have on display open fully, just like they did when we ordered it.
When I questioned why ours didn’t, the shop assistant told us that they have changed manufactures since we ordered and I would have to ring customer support to see if they would send me the hinge they have on the display models.
Customer support took nearly 1 hour to get through to. The telephone operator asked me to look on the back of the instructions for a lot number (01021) and where it says it’s was made …..CHINA!
I was then told that’s now how its made, nothing can be done , it is what it is.
Basically bad luck that I got the batch made in china. When I told her I wanted to take them back as they are useless, she said as it has been over 30 days they would not accept a return .
To sum it up they are cheaply made, not fit for purpose and the company’s customer support is nearly as rubbish as the quality of the products .
Wish I knew this before we spent nearly 2k with them on various items, can’t wait to see what other nasty surprises we get.”
“Received the Melfi Green baby changing unit and was appalled by the quality for the price paid. Low quality plastic foil on rough chipboard ("engineered wood" in the description, which is technically correct but is suggestive of ply or something decent) , with multiple panels of foil applied with edges showing, where I would have expected one continuous wrap. It also came completely unassembled, down to the tracks on the drawers - the description does say supplied unassembled but when paying this sort of premium, from a store catering to time poor new parents, I expect some work to have been done in the factory. Paid 25 euro delivery and was stung by another 47 euro for the privilage of returning it. Bought car seats and clothes from mamas and papas previously without issue but won't be hassling them with my custom again. We go spend 120euro in IKEA or Jysk and get the same quality.”
“It's well over two months since we ordered an Oxford cot and Change Table. Both arrived badly damaged. Replacement parts arrived over a month later, just as badly damaged. We still have a cot with no base and a change table with no top. That's what £1300 gets you from Mamas and Papas. We submitted a very reasonable complaint which has been ignored. I strongly advise anyone looking on this page to take your business elsewhere.”

Had nothing but issues since we ordered our furniture set around a month ago.
Forever changing delivery dates, completely broken wardrobe upon arrival, poor customer service when arranging for a new wardrobe to be sent out, didn't collect the damaged wardrobe when they finally delivered a replacement, replacement wardrobe had small damage, still waiting for a response to 2 emails sent to their customer service department.
At a time that is especially stressful, this company has done nothing but add to the stress. Will never use Mamas & Papas again.”
“For some reason as a customer I am unable to review their product I purchased and had to return after complaining. I am sure this has been done intentionally.! I purchased a hilston nursing chair and stool on 23 January. The product was on back order and required pre order as I was informed it’s made when ordered. Order number 1590050760, I spent 589.00 on this chair. The chair arrived in April when my baby had just been born. To say the least the workmanship was shoddy, there was over 30 marks, scuffs, design faults. To say the least their quality checks had not been carried out. I called and spoke to Ben and provided him with photos of how bad it was. He arranged collection where by I had to wait in all day for... another waste of my time. He promised if I complained as they could not get a replacement without me waiting again! For a chair to be honest I refused it seeing how badly and cheaply made it was. He said I would be compensated well for the amount of damage, that I had to wait for the item, that I now had no chair for me to feed my baby on and the loss of a day for collection. Following this I heard nothing, after nearly 3 weeks from their collection Ben ignored my emails that is sent to a generic account that anyone could pick up. I still had not received my money back, to chase and be told their delivery men still had the chair hence no refund, funny enough not my issue and they issued a refund and sent a insulting 50.00 voucher to me!
I am very disappointed by mamas and papas and will never recommended them again. I was made to feel so insignificant and they could have turned this around and my views with better service, an apology sent to me and personally a better form of compensation seeing as all their items are very expensive and I had always been a customer of theirs.. obviously not VALUED AT ALL!”
“If you order you may have to wait for ages for the stuff then get an email to say a delay and wait till end of April a joke. When people are due babies and cannot go to an actual shop.”

I have had a shocking experience with Mamas & Papas, you can't get anyone over the phone and they just do not respond to emails at all - 3 sent so far over a 3 week period.
My order arrived missing an item, have since had no updates about the missing item, no response to emails and have paid for it (no refund in sight), also the account doesn't even list my order like it never existed! Absolutely shocking customer service.
Order from John Lewis in future as have never had problems there and their customer service is great!
Not what you need when you are heavily pregnant, shop elsewhere please don't give this company your money!”
“Terrible service. Website states free delivery. You will assume item to be receives 2 to 3 days. Once payment is processed, states 3 to 5 working days. Or else if you want it sooner , pay us more like approximate £7 to £8. This is disgrace as a mother you want your baby item as soon as from a reputable company, when your already paying for a premium product yet premium extra charges!!!”

“Great quality in products! Quick and efficient customer service, I was charged incorrectly full price for an item that was discounted and they refunded me promptly. I only drop a star because of their return policy: you have to pay postage to return an item. I would think that such a big company would offer free returns.”
“Ordered a flip xt 2 carrycot as the assistant in store said it was sleep safe for over night sleeping. When I took it out there was no mention of it in the instruction booklet. I contacted the customer services and they said it was not! It was too late for me to return .”
