“After over a month of holding onto our significant order money, they cancelled the entire fencing order via email out of the blue, They have left my major garden project completely high and dry, DO NOT waste your time with this company as they are unreliable and unhelpful and not trustworthy at all.”

“If I could give this absolute shower no stars I would. Placed my order on 23 March, they took my £112 immediately and I haven’t heard a word from them since, This order also doesn’t appear in the “my orders” section of their website and when I use the “track my order” facility it tells me they have no details. Like everyone else I made allowances for the current situation, but we are way past this now. They need to be held accountable for their shambolic/fraudulent approach.”

“Update..... got my money back through my credit card provider...... it wasn’t a lot of money I am pleased to say ..... customer service agent said & I quote “ it’s a dodgy website””

“I had two orders placed on 20th and 30th March. After repeated emails, unanswered by them, I kept sending emails. Nothing. I wrote to their CEO 2 weeks ago. Nothing. This morning 4th May, had an email informing me that they have cancelled my order !!! I will never, ever, deal with this Company again nor I will recommend anyone else. They should all be ashamed, from the top down, with their Company and they business they purport to run. I am not sure whether it is legal for a company to have clients money for 4/6 weeks without any communication or goods and then refund. Will check and wait and see. 1 stay rating is too much. Disgraceful.”

“Placed an order 22 March 2020, money taken immediately. No delivery received, no emails answered and unable to call as phone line turned off during COVID19. I have now asked for a refund, but don’t hold out much hope!”

“I ordered a sizeable quantity of plants and compost on the 24 th March. To date 5.5 weeks later despite many emails and promises of delivery I have not received a single item. My emails were responded to however the estimated delivery dates have turned out to be fiction. I am starting to feel I have been defrauded.”

“Waited to months for an order to arrive and it never did. Sent them numerous emails and never had a response. Just trying to get a refund at this point. Buy from your local gardening centre if possible - ours are doing delivery and I wish I'd just gone with them”

“Ordered seeds on 31st of March order number 5053311 it’s been so long they must be plants now!! Appalling customer service, tried e mailing several times to get a refund but no reply surprisingly. Do not use this company as with this sort of service they won’t be in business much longer!!”

“I ordered a “cast iron” fire pit for £229 which turned out to be a thin steel fire pit so I tried to return it but primrose have not issued a return label or answered any phone calls or emails. I will now try to get a refund via my bank but advise new customers to treat this supplier as totally unreliable”

“Thank you Primrose. Primrose recently gave me a full refund for plants I had ordered on 28th marsh which did not arrive. I called them immoral for taking my money and I feel guilty for this. I used them in the past and they were very good. I would recommend them again. I believe they are trustworthy.”

“Chased 4 times now, delivery ordered over 3 weeks ago now, no response to each of my chases! They have managed to take the money ok, but no update since! Just e-mailed the CEO, Mark Pearson, as this is unacceptable.. Won't be ordering from here again!!”

“I ordered on 11 april and all items had delivery estimated as 5 to 7 days. The funds taken but order not showing on my account on their website. I have emailed to try and confirm order but no response. They are no longer reachable by telephone. I have therefore emailed to cancel and request a refund. Plants ordered from other suppliers at same time who quoted longer delivery times have all arrived.”
