So I ordered 2 dresses from here and asked for next day delivery. First dress arrives 2 days after order after paying £8 for next day. I emailed asking for the where abouts of the second dress and they claimed I hadnt selected next day delivery for the second dress BARE IN MIND it was processed under the SAME ORDER ! Absolutely ridiculous service, the website lies when it says orders usually arrive in 1-2 days. Dress was nice was general service is appalling.

If you’re wanting to feel fat and depressed in average quality clothes - here they are. Sizes are RIDICULOUS. Couldn’t possibly add photos of the outfits - it would cause mass hysteria.

The quality of the products is very poor.Nothing like the pictures on the website. Itchy material on both items. Not true to size ordered. Poor stitching on products also. Will not order again on the site. Also charged to return items. 80 pounds spent hope iam not waiting weeks for my money to be returned. Will not recommend silkfred to friends or family.

I have had the worst shopping experience with this comp-any ever! Please avoid them! They sell poor quality of clothing and shoes! I have been waiting 3 months for a refund of £145.00 which I had to chase about 10 times - if I didn't email SilkFred on a regular basis, I wouldn't get my money back. Additionally, I am still chasing a refund for defective earrings. Hannah, one of the staff members is the worst one to deal with as she never get back to you or basically lies on a regular basis saying that the matter is being dealt with (when clearly nothing is being done!) Not even once I was offered an apology!

Very disappointing response .. or rather lack of .. to my emails which I sent in the first instance on 5 January .. i would like to hear from someone with the intention to resolve this ASAP please

They don’t even deserve the 1 star. They are dishonest and will drag your refund out. Dressed by Lauren is also TRASH. Almost ruined my birthday and literally ignored my emails. I love small businesses so this was highly disappointing I will never use either of them again.

I ordered 2 swimming costumes. SilkFred will not refund as they said there are fake tan marks on them. Totally incorrect. Swimsuits have no marks and still have labels in. When contacting SilkFred they simply said the retailer will not accept the return. Very disappointed.

Worst place I’ve ordered from! Waited ages for refund and still am waiting! Requested next day delivery which cost £8 and it never come next day, so emailed for a full refund on delivery, got an email back to say they’ll refund and still haven’t even seen that! Wish I read the reviews first before ordering!

Returned three items of clothing asked for an exchange on two items of clothing in a larger size and a refund on the other i kept emailing them for them to say they will find out what is happening this has been going since the 13/08/2018 i have never known a clothing site to actually take the p..s in this way i kept sending emails and a amiee would answer well to be honest your just a robot because by now i should have a refund in my bank account and two exchanges sent back to my address this site is a total piss take i don’t work my arse off to be ordering clothes and then for people to take the piss for me not to get my money back Really bad site they are totally taking the Micky

I wish I had read all the negative reviews before ordering. Sizing is ridiculous. Cost of returning items is crazy. I now appreciate the fantastic service that the other on line shopping sites offer. Will never ever use again.

The customer service with regard to returns is poor. It is not very clear what you should do and when you ask there is no reply. Such a shame as the site is good, if they want to continue they need to clarify this.

Very similar to everyone else. Ordered 5 dresses, all arrived over 8days separately. Sizing is ridiculous!!! Trying to organise a return is very time consuming. You have to request a refund then wait for an address and code!!!!!! Parcels all arrived,pushed through my door but they expect returns to be sent signed for, now resulting in me being £20 out of pocket for potentially updating my wardrobe!!!!! How can they offer free delivery that isn't signed for and expect an expensive form of return from the customer. Think carefully before using SILKFRED.

Terrible customer service - literally don’t respond to emails and there is no phone number. Trying to return an item and get a refund is almost impossible. Believe the bad reviews - AVOID!!!

If I could mark 0 I would . After 7 days I still had no items after ordering and my tracking still said that Royal Mail were still waiting to receive them from the company . Bad experience. I have had to open pay pal to get a refund .

Avoid!!! I have waited weeks for a refund, there is no response to any of the emails I have sent, when they did eventually reply they are rude and unhelpful. Very poor communication skills and unprofessional.

Ordered a shirt and a dress at full price, dress arrived and when I opened it it was filthy, smelly and creased. There were make up stains on front of dress. Clearly been used before and then shipped back out to me. Gross. Aside from this, the dress was poor quality and very cheaply made. Shirt didn't arrive and still waiting for that. First and last time ordering from SilkFred!

I returned items and still waiting after 3 weeks for a refund and emailing them they don’t reply for days, opened a dispute via PayPal and they said if I close it they will refund me, closed and now still waiting 2 days and 3 emails to them later. Also an item was sent to me for 7.99 and they charged me 20 but won’t refund difference. Avoid them at all costs
