“I returned a pair of sneakers that cause bleeding blisters on my toes. This was because the vinyl or plastic material used to make the sneakers was so stiff it cut into my toes whenever I took a step. I immediately boxed up the shoes and wrap them exactly as I received them with all internal tissue and foot forms etc. I tracked the return and found out get yours had the sneakers for over a week but didn't contact me about a refund. When I called, I found out Skechers refused to give me a refund, claiming the sneakers were "slightly worn". When I explained the sneakers were defective, they would not change their decision and still refuse to give me my money.”
“I’ve been buying sketcher shoes. For about 8 years or so but now something has changed in the last 3 years. The glue no longer holds up. The upper part where the rubber meets the leather is separating. I don’t mind paying $140. for a pair of shoes but I do expect them to last longer than a year. I’m 70 years old so I don’t go hiking or anything like that. It’s obvious that the quality has gone down.”
“Dont buy sketchers anymoreeee!!!!!! There is no warranty if you have an issue. I bought a pair of shoes and after 3 weeks the leather inside becomes to shred like I was wearing it for 1 year. Very bad quality!!”
“Bought two pairs of shoes that are both stylish and comfortable! The staff at the Toronto Premium Outlet were excellent and knowledgeable. They made the purchasing process very enjoyable!”
“These shoes at first appeared to be
slip-in shoes. They are NOT slip-in. I have to tug on the loop at the top of the heel to get it on.
I did not use these shoes when I first received them. Now, 6 months later, I have discovered that I can not get them on easily.
I am in my 70s and bought these so I could slip them on quickly, and not have to sit down or bend over to get them on. What a disappointment.
When I shopped for them online, I searched for slip-on/slip-in shoes, and they popped up in that category.
It appears that Sketchers Go Walk 7 shoes are slip-ins, but that is not the case.
I have only worn these shoes a couple of times, and won't wear them again. I will be buying a shoe brand that is a guaranteed hands free slip-in shoe.”
“Received sneaker with broken lace.
Asked for new lace to be sent. They don't do that. Wanted me to return sneakers..... Pain in the butt.
I'll buy my sneakers from someone else that has better customer service.”
“Bought 2 pair of Skechers at the store on Eastern & Serene in Las Vegas. The sales girl, Allison was very friendly & a definite keeper. She was very knowledgeable and made our shopping experience very pleasant.”
“Bad customer service!
My daughter's toe was bleeding at work because of The Skechers slip on shoe had a hard spot near the pinky toe and Rubbed it raw enough for her toe to Bleed! Tey didn't want to do anything about it. But send the shoe back and then what!? I don't want another Pair. Just a refund.
They were Rude at Customer service!!”
“We went to the location in Euless, Kiwana helped us.......OH MY GOSH!! If only all ppl who worked with the public were like her!!! She went way above and beyond to help us-she is happy and upbeat and just an absolute pleasure to deal with. Didn't really have any intention of buying all the shoes, but she made it so fun!!! ha Loved her.”
“Our sales lady, Chelly at the Shadow Lake store in Papiilion NE was outstanding. Very helpful and cheerful, made us feel like she was genuinely happy to be be a Sketchers employee and to help us in any way she could. Will definitely shop there again.”
“Have a pair of Snickers( sketchers sport memory foam) for about a month they're fall apart . Unfortunately I'm not able to add a picture to it very disappointed.”
“I bought Relaxed fit air cooled, I am diabetic and arthritic and 78 , I thought I had found a show I could wear, they did not last 2 months, the material that is supposed to be resilient in the heal balled up and blistered my heal. Not happy, dangerous for diabetics that have difficulties feeling their feet. Designed material issue.”
“I just had TWO of the WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES with the store manager at the Hylan drive store ( # 00862) in Henrietta Ny- I purchased a pair of boots on a gift card I received n noticed later on that they over charged me $15.- I went back to the store where SUPPOSEDLY a employee there refunded me $15 on my gift card- I hav both receipts- when I checked my gift card balance the $15 was never put back on the gift card!! Today 1/25/25 I called the store n talked to the manager about this- before she hung up on me she said “not my problem” so I went back to the store to try to resolve this issue- the store manager was SO RUDE TO ME- when I asked her what her name was she told me her name was F—K and walked away to the back of the store and never returned! I will not only write this terrible review but I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW about my TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES with this manager- I will also b calling the corporate office to complain but I don’t really expect any response from them either- they just don’t seem to care about customer satisfaction AT ALL”
“Have had a pair of slip-ins for less than a year are rarely use them. The material at the back has separated from the plastic piece on both of them. Not impressed and will not buy another pair.”
“My Skechers hiking boot is defective. It has fallen apart, from it sole on the inner side. I went to the Rowland Heights location. The cashier called a manager (Maria). She said no you need a receipt. I informed her I used my membership and my credit card. She replied go into your account and find the receipt. So I did and she said it's been move than 90 days. So I can't help you. I asked to speak to the store manager (Jennifer) and explained that is the policy. I replied you can't be serious these boots didn't last six months. (I do use these boots four days a week for two hours walking a trail.)That's eighty dollars wasted. I won't be shopping for any more Skechers.”
“Not sure if we are happy or disappointed, we bought a pair of mule tennis shoe my wife wears around the house and is falling apart. They were a Christmas gift, how ever the Store in Westfield Mall in Canoga Park California sort of made my wife feel like a liar, did not want a refund, just an exchange they were a not even a month old and because I couldn’t find the receipt, we were out of luck
today, being handicapped we thought we could of been treated better, they did not seem concerned no receipt no dice. So we are writing this in hope that they will exchange them warranting another review. It’s hard to keep track of Christmas Shopping receipts and buying four pairs,we are not cheap customers”
“Thank you for Slip-ins! I am 85 and my wife is 80. The Slip-ins are the best shoes for us. I got mine first and was so pleased I took my Special Lady to the store and got her a pair. While we were there I got me another pair. Keep up the good work, we will keep getting them for as long as God keeps us here.”
