“This was my first experience with Sweater Chalet and I could not be happier. First, I chatted and got the necessary information and then placed my order. “The mittens we bought are beautiful and high quality. They are extremely soft and warm. For my daughter who has circulation issues in her hands, they offer the warmth she has not found in any other glove she has bought. I bought mine for warmth and the beautiful designs. Worth the money.”

“Your service has been excellent. I won't really know how warm the socks keep my feet until it gets cold. I have noticed that even the pairs of socks that are the same size don't feel the same on my feet. The latest size 11 doesn't seem as large as the first size 11 I bought, but the first size 11 shrunk a little when I washed them. So they feel great now. One thing I noticed are the knots by the toes. In some socks I don't feel them at all; some socks I have worn inside out so they don't rub. One pair out of my four are very uncomfortable because of the knots. My shrunken size 11 and one of my size 9 that was not washed feel the best on my feet. I'm afraid to wash the again!”

“I have worn these marled wool socks for over 40 years.I have climbed on 6 continents and have never had a blister.I recommend them to my mountaineering fellows who have problem feet.Cool in the heat and warm in the cold.This wool maintains it's loft when wet and wicks dry easily.carl bell”

“Fantastic, fast service - particularly as it was an international order. Everything was packaged nicely and arrived just as it was described on the website. “The quality of the gloves and socks are impeccable. Not only do you get accessories that will last you a lifetime, you also get the customer service and the homemade feel. They wrap their products in this gorgeous high quality paper with gold detailing on it and send a hand written note out with everything. You can tell they care about you individually and want to serve you to the best of their ability. These are a must have for the cold weather and these are the only gloves I will wear now. Will definitely be purchasing from again!”

“Quick service that arrived when promised which was important as I needed my 100% wool socks for a winter weather auto race (only natural materials or fire resistant materials allowed). Though these were the 'thinner' version of the 100% wool socks, they were very warm and kept my feet toasty, but not sweaty during 30 degree temperatures at Watkins Glen, NY with snow falling. Can't imagine not having these when standing outside for 9 plus hours a day. They fit in my rather tight driving shoes so would imagine they would also fit in most loafers that are not overly snug. Best part, was wearing chartreuse colored socks at the track. Nomex-white is a bit of a bore. The package was beautiful wrapped and presented with adorable (and I really don't do cute much) little puffy stickers all over it and a lovely handwritten note inside. You might think the socks are expensive, but these are not something you wear for a year or two and toss out. These are truly environmentally friendly since you are going to be keeping them forever. Oddly, to me, the socks didn't even smell after being on all day long including when my shoes and boots were wet from the melting snow (they say this on the website, but originally I was a bit of a doubter on that one). Imagine, no more ice cold feet in the winter! Buy a pair or two to start with, then go buy a couple of pairs for your favorite someone. They're that awesome.”

“I ordered a Dachstein sweater, and was completely satisfied with the quality of the item, as well as the service. Unfortunately, the fit was suited for a more trim and youthful man, so I had to return it. That was hassle-free also, and I received a full refund very quickly. I can recommend Sweater Chalet very highly.”
