What the F takealot!!! I was busy with a transaction in purchasing a new TV wich was on your exclusive blue dot sale. When the payment was almost finalized you gave me an error, okay so after doing the whole process all over again (which was so annoying), you miraculously add R2000.00 on the same product. How is this even possible???? In a few seconds??? This is total BS!! I will never ever do business with you again, nor will my friends and family. You can go F.u.C.k yourself

Ordered with credit card, and everyone knows it can take an hour or 3 for payment to go through. Got 2 emails saying order is cancelled after my bank notice that amount was paid. This was followed by an sms that item will be delivered at certain time. This is confusing messages which makes one careful to use this platform

I am not sure what's the point paying for express delivery from Takealot because they always make sure they deliver to me at the latest possible moment within their SLA. The sad part is that I live less than 10 kilometres away from their Warehouse in Johannesburg, so instead of delivering to me first, they end up delivering to me last. That is really stupid..!!??

People should be very careful when buying online with Takealot, they deducted 4 times the amount that was actually due. Despite proof of the fraudulent transaction, I have been waiting for a week to get a refund of the amount stolen out my account. I have wasted hours of time and wasted airtime to get it sorted, to no avail! Be careful shoppers! Best option is NOT to shop on-line with TAKEALOT!

Ordered a generator from Takealot. This generator was faulty and having surges. One of the surges damaged my coffee machine. Takealot worked well to Process the refund for the Generator. However. I still am waiting for compensation for the refund. Takealot should have payed for my damages or got there supplier to pay for it.I expected better from Takealot as have used them many times.

Such horrible and fake customer service, smiles are non-existent with this horrendous and completely unprofessional company that misled and mishandled me on 3 separate ocassions in a row. This after I had to deal with poor customer service from Vodacom, Rain and MTN. I ask to speak to a manager 3 times and get ignored, all I get is a heartless copy and pasted apology via email. I have been a long standing and loyal patron of the Company for many many years and buy basically eveything from them and yet they couldn't be bothered to call me, when requested to. This after numerous false promises and extremely uncaring and very poor customer service to say the very least, I am now left with no other option than to seek counsel as to how to go about doing something within my legal rights to fight this underhanded behaviour I have been subjected to, I have been lied to and misinformed too many times now and will not recommend or support this rubbish company ever again, unless something is done and standards are brought back to how they used to be. Tomorrow I expect compensation and a huge apology from all involved in this huge mess created by Takealot.com. My times has been severly wasted by incompentance and a serious lack of any and all customer care!!! I am serioiusly furious right now and putting you on my to sue list, which had included ?Vodacom but at least they had the common sense and decency to apologise and compensate me, Rain I am going to sue for thousands of rands still, they now ignore any correspondence with me, MTN I am emailing a huge letter of complaint this weekend and threatening to sue for broken promises as well. I have huge evidence against all these companies and now against yours as well. Unless something is done to rectify this mess soon, expect more from me to follow!!!

What a rubbish company, I have phone evidence and email evidence against them and now they are avoiding me entirely for some reason, I have requested a call from a manager or supervisor about 10 times now and so many broken promises and lies, so now I am going to sue them and expose them.

As a seller I can tell you takealot damaged 1000s of rand if my products I’ve see how their drivers throws the boxes, the kept over R14 000 of my money in sales but they want their 15% cut of the profit, there 20% for delivering the parcel and R345 subscription fee every month, when a customer returns the product because they changed their mind takealot doesn’t put it into stock they rather lose it. This is our takealot works against South Africans, Foreigners will be successful in our country while our own people like takealot will break us down. They suspended my account right in season and doesn’t want to pay me my money for sales. I have sent emails no response and phones don’t work. As a small business that suffered terribly during COVID -19 I feel like they just cut my hands off because all my money was invested in my products

Before you buy from Takealot, please compare prices. Before a sale, prices are signifantly inflated and then discounted - therefore the sale price is the same or more than the general retail price. I have contacted Takealot re: this issue and they claim they have no control. They were very condescending. Personally, I'll look for products elsewhere before supporting them.

Takealot cancelled my order and said item isn't available. It is in fact available with the exact same supplier, but at a higher price. They basically made a mistake and are lying to me to save themselves some money. Purchases should be honoured

Bad , bad service. for an online business strange enough difficult to get hold of customer dept, yet alone they getting back to me. When i did my order, they received their funds, now I must wait to return my call.

I don't want to believe that a takealot is a scam , hopefully they will solve this matter today. TAKEALOT I just found out that you guys delivered my order to a wrong person. I find it hard to understand how you can allow someone with a different name from the parcel to receive my order without contacting me or my consent I received sms in the morning saying that my order will be arrive on the 22nd of October before 5 , I waited the whole day... nobody came even after 5pm nobody came i logged a complaint then i got automated response your phones are not going through ..now it says delivered and signed by Nangamso at 22:00 and at this time I was in the house and no car was outside my houde. This is frustrating because it's the first time I order from takealot and worst experience ever. I don't even know the person who received my orders. They kept rescheduling my order now they delivered to a wrong person. My order worth R4438 that's a lot of money. And i read a similar review " the person also says they did not receive any order but status days it was delivered and signed by Nangamso " who is Nangamso who keep receiving people's order Something is fishy I want my order or refund my money back.

I decided to return a certain product for refund. After I received your email, I took the parcel to your drop off shop. They still couldn't pick it up on the system. I was told the person working at the drop off office will sort it out. I still haven't heard anything from them.Kindly fix this error as I have been there 3 times with no success.

I bought a kitchen tap and wine rack in sept 3,delivery was schedule for the 7th, buy notjing came, i tracked the order and i saw they wrote driver couldn't find the address so order was scheduled for the next day the 8th, still i received nothing and there was no communication. A week later i tracked order still it said delivery scheduled for the 8th nothing more. 2 weeks later i contacted them via email and only then i was told the driver was hijacked with my parcel and they will contact me for the next delivery date, 2 weeks passed again without any contact and i emailed again and after that i was told my delivery will be on 15 October, then later on git a message that no it will only be delivered on the 16th.today i just tracked my order it now says my order will be delivered on 26 October. When will this rubbish come to an end? I'm tired of playing this game with take a lot. Im never ever ordering from them disgusting service ever.

Please get more agents to work and assist customers and preferably phones that work! Sikelwa Nqolowa called me back and her phone was not working so she could not attend to my query - is that customer service????? Why not get another agent to call me instead? First your credit card facility is down, then apparently your telephone lines are down. She said i purchased a supposed item, cant tell me what item i purchased nor can produce an invoice..something smells fishy...

I'm a happy customer! My order was delivered today , and everything is as it should be. The guys were also said to be friendly (my mother accepted the packages) , and helpful . The service I had received had been within the correct time frame - being a teacher - I plan , think (and order!) ahead . They gave me a minor shock this morning, changing my delivery date , but after 1 email all was resolved. The products I had purchased are what I had expected - very high quality ! Thank you Team TakeAlot . You've earned yourself a new , regular , satisfied customer! :-)

I purchased a Fitbit Versa 2 for my daughter 10 months ago. I recently noticed a crack on the screen and returned the item. Takealot are unwilling to honor the warranty on the device. I’m disappointed in the the service level and response from Takealot. My wife also has a Fitbit Versa 2 and this now raises concerns for me regarding her warranty. Fortunately I have a Garmin which is a more reputable brand. Being a regular client I most definitely will have a rethink about purchasing online from Takealot moving forward.
