“ The restock fee makes returns pointless. I bought an item for $13, but it costs $4 to return it PLUS an $11 shipping fee..... so there really is no point in returning it as I wont get any money back. That makes it really hard to shop because you dont actually know if the items fit you.. Only way to know is to try it on. While I love the idea of thrifting, this isnt saving me any money. Sorry, wont be shopping again. ”

“ Do not use this website. You will not get what you ordered. The items are mis labeled mis sized and everything. They will offer the option for returns but at a cost to YOU or a credit that if you use it you will still end up spending more money to use your credit. Thred Up is a rip off. ”

“ Don't buy from this site--they only give you credit, not refunds, for returns. I sent back two returns this month to thredUP. When you submit the return, thredUP asks you to choose whether the refund was to go to your credit card (and get charged return shipping) or to be given to you as credit. I selected refund but they gave me credit instead. ”
