"I took delivery of a Wolf 3.2 kW generator on 19th October but haven't been able to use it yet, nearly two weeks later because of two serious flaws which have the potential to be LETHAL. One flaw, I fixed myself but the other required a replacement petrol pipe. I rang UK Home Shopping about this and the apparently very obliging customer representative promised to rush me the replacement part. 11 days later - still no part. Customer service seems to be 'make promises, do nothing.'\nThe flaws in this Wolf PowerKing Petrol Generator were:\n\u2022 A fuel pipe too short to fit securely on the fuel tap. Vibration from the engine running would dislodge it, spilling petrol over a hot engine.\n\u2022 A dislodged plastic cover exposing 12 and 230 volt electrical contacts. It is a matter of poor design; this cover should be impossible to accidentally dislodge. A potentially serious flaw, especially if the generator is earthed."
