“I mailed out a package in Clearfield PA on May 7th, 2025 and I had the post office put the postage label on it and mail it out. They gave me the receipt. I was not informed about keeping the receipt as a tracking device. I was not asked if I wanted protection on it. The package had a 50$ visa gift card in it and precious pictures that I had made and I took the time to write on each one of the pictures on the back. It had a Mother’s Day card and a letter in it. It was very important and special but now it never made it to Indianapolis Indiana and it was the first thing that I actually gotten for my daughter since she abruptly moved away. I send my granddaughter things monthly from Amazon, which always make it there.IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED TO BUY INSURANCE, I would have. If I would’ve been informed to keep the postage receipt as tracking, I would have, but I wasn’t told about any of that. I am very hurt and upset. My daughter is now distraught now also. I feel that the worker was incredibly incompetent. It was May 7th 2026 in the morning when I mailed it out. I am extremely disappointed in this post office.

“I called about resolving this issue and I got a very rude unprofessional male being disrespectful and not letting me speak. They took away the mail from.my 90 yr old grandmother telling her she had to come to the office to get her mail because of a malicious mailman.”
“I would give a negative 100% if it was available. I tried to call the post office about getting a PO Box set up in the state I’m moving to. Their automated system is trash, it took me in circles because it didn’t understand me. Finally after calling back several times and 20 minutes later it said it was giving me to an agent but it wasn’t… it was a freaking computer or robot who in the middle of me asking a question, transferred me to the survey line. You bet I left the worst possible rating and left a recorded message. STOP WITH THE COMPUTERS, it’s a lie when i’m told I’ll get a person and it tries to fool me into believing it’s a real person WHEN IT’S NOT A REAL PERSON. It’s maddening. Not a good way to do business AT ALL.”
“Tracking is unheard of when employees rarely update tracking! This probably why so many items get stolen off porches. I can’t sit at home and hope item gets to my house when I don’t know where it is!!!”
“I run a business and recently had a very disappointing experience with USPS international shipping.
I shipped two separate packages to Italy on different days using Priority Mail, which was advertised as taking 8–10 days. Both shipments contained only documents. Unfortunately, neither package ever reached its destination, and no clear explanation was provided.
To make matters worse, USPS refused to issue a refund, even though each shipment cost around $80. Customer service was extremely difficult to reach, and when I spoke with a representative at a local branch, I was told that USPS is not responsible for what happens once the package leaves the United States.
This lack of accountability, transparency, and support is unacceptable—especially for a paid international service. I would strongly caution other businesses against relying on USPS for important international shipments.”
“Over multiple months we have had issues with our mail being delivered incorrectly to our neighbors mailbox, lost packages and out going mail not making it to its destination cause bills to be late! Payroll being sent on Thursday and taking 3 days to get to me within VT it’s ridiculous and sometimes needs to change the PO is the completely unreliable.”
“I was expecting Christmas present from my team abroad. USPS delivered me a ripped empty envelope with a sticker "hope it didn't cause any inconveniences". Why you would even deliver an empty envelope if you took out the content?! I can see the sticker what was in the envelope, I know it was not empty, and I know it arrived at the local office without content already - so no third parties involvement. “The absolute worst shipping available. If you pay for ground express you won’t get it within the time frame. They’ve lost 4 of my packages this month, so far! Half the time it says out for delivery it’s not delivered. I’ve had to go pick up more packages than have been delivered to my address. The absolute crappiest service around!”

“I sent a package via Priority Mail to Puerto Rico. It was supposed to arrive in 4 days. The package was traveling from office to office in Philadelphia for a week. “I am writing to formally express my concern and frustration regarding ongoing issues with my mail forwarding and change-of-address requests.
I moved from 5335 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA in 2024 and have made two in-person attempts at the local post office (near Duke Street) to submit a change-of-address. On both occasions, I was not informed that I was at the incorrect post office for processing my request. As a result, my mail has been missing since July 2024, causing serious inconvenience.
Today, I spoke with a representative named Lisa through Customer 360, who finally informed me that I should have gone to the 5221 Franconia Rd,” which added to the confusion). It is extremely frustrating that no one in the prior visits corrected me or directed me properly. This kind of miscommunication has resulted in nearly one year n 2 months of lost or undelivered mail.
I respectfully request:
Assistance in locating and recovering any mail that may still be held or misdirected.
Confirmation that my change-of-address is now properly submitted and active.
Clarification on why this confusion occurred and what measures are being taken to prevent it for others.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. I trust USPS values its customers and will make every effort to address this failure in communication and service.

“I am in Las Vegas, Enterprise area (area code 89178) at an HOA, and I have been purchasing many items online that are large & small. Today, I received a package that was almost 50 pounds and the delivery driver (Hispanic?) rang the doorbell and to my surprise, instead of it being left on the floor like UPS & FedEx, he had it resting on his shoulder taking care of my package seeing if I was there...he's not that big (no, I'm not making fun of him). Although there was no fragile sticker on there, he was watchful, and by ringing the doorbell, it prevents porch pirates. I've never spoken to him but daily, when he's delivering packages to other customers around me, he's always smiling and courteous and appears to enjoy his job. His demeanor that he exudes makes everyone comfortable. Yes, there's those that hate their job and project their negative attitudes to customers, but this delivery driver for USPS is the opposite and we need more workers like him,. We only hope that USPS will continue to retain their workers like him until his retirement.”
“I am a regular customer who sends packages via priority mailing system. About 50% of times my packages first go to a wrong state and had to reroute making huge delays. I feel like it's not worth spending extra money, rather send via regular mail. So frustrating!!!!!!”
