im so happy because vestiaire take responsibility on item that was sold. you need to improve and provide star seller or buyer rating option from customer to evaluate.. Thankyou Vestiare on My First Sale. Hopefully , more item sold in future.

I’ve been a buyer/seller of Vestiaire Collective since 2015. Unfortunately VC is not what it used to be, their quality department cannot differentiate fake from authentic items. They are not trustworthy anymore. I’m cancelling my account and I would advise anyone not to buy anything from them, their customer support is the worst.

Unfortunately, Vestiaire’s customer support does not communicate with a seller appropriately when there is an issue with a sale. I sold a perfect pair of shoes that had never been worn. The seller returned them to me with the soles completely demolished. Customer support emailed me to ask that I inform them when I received the returned shoes. About two weeks after the fact, customer support emails me to say I need to return the shoes to them. By this point, I had thrown the shoes away as they were totally destroyed. Since I could not return the product to Vestiaire, they informed me I had to return the payment received for the shoes. Had customer support informed me up front that they needed the shoes sent to them, I would have gladly sent them.

Joke of a CS team. I got banned for apparently repeatedly trying to sell offline. Not true! I’ve sent brand URL links for customers to check the measurements for items and I got banned and they’re unwilling to revert their decision. I’ve sold loads and some sales have been good, some shocking with the item being lost and waiting 3 months for money to cover their/DHL mistake. Avoid! Not worth their disproportionate commission rates with such shocking customer service.

To be honest I was not expecting this kind of appalling behaviour from a company that refers to themselves as the saviour of sustainable fashion!!!!Bought a pair of boots size 35 and I received size 34. Customer service won't refund even though its a false advertising and misleading. Won't spend any more money there. They won't take any responsibility at all.

I received the bag in very poor condition, which was not reflected either in the description or in the photo. I bought it from a Professional Seller. The right says that I have the right to return. I was asked about the reason for the return and asked to send photos. I sent many photos. In the photo, everything was visible, as plain as day. VC started playing as a bad actor and writing that they couldn't see ANYTHING. And they stopped answering me

If i could leave zero stars i would ! This website is utterly FRAUD- i made an offer on a ring, they "quality controlled it" and then said it was in VERY GOOD CONDITION despite them flagging it didnt match the sellers description...except when it arrived it was damaged so badly Bulgari itself cannot repair it !!. It was plain fraud - I havw repeatedly contacted customer "service" and sent pictures and sent the ring back and complained and despite weeks of trying to reach them they refuse to refund me and just want me to relist it for another person to be swindled?? In fact today they relisted it despite my flatly refusing to accept that...these guys are just crooks. Have a look at the pictures..one is what they said the ring was, the others are what was delivered..... Customer service, inept, and unwilling to deal correctly when things go wrong. . They did say this would be rectified and then backtracked after item was shipped to me Multiple emails to multiple agents, all with vague/ zero responses. This company is untrustworthy. You cannot buy with confidence, and you MUST not trust that they will not fix any issues - but boy do they take your money fast. AVOID THIS PLATFORM.

I listed an item for sale on Vestiaire Collective and my item was purchased. After mailing my item to the midpoint where they verify the quality, they found the item to be in different condition than I described. I listed a designer handbag that still had original tags on it, original packaging, and has never been used. My mother bought the bag nearly 30 years ago. On my listing, I shared that the bag had some leather peeling, consistent with age and that the bag had never been used. All true, but on their report they described the item as “good” condition instead of never been used as I had described it. The buyer rejected the purchase after seeing this report. They then gave an option of storing my bag in their facility OR having it returned to me. I clicked the return to me button and went about my business. A week later I reached out to support because I hadn’t received any tracking information. They shared that my item had been delivered and finally sent me the tracking. It had been delivered to an old address, and not the address I had sent it from. Unfortunately I no longer live in that city, FedEx cannot do anything about it, and now my mother’s handbag is lost in NYC. Supports only solution was that I reach out to fedex. If they had sent me tracking information and had me verify the correct return address I would not be in this situation but now unfortunately there is nothing I can do. Also the customer service representative was trying to gaslight me and say that I “just changed the address” to the old NYC one. Overall I find the company to be extremely unreliable and I cannot say I had a good experience. Knowing what I know now, I would never purchase or sell on the platform again.

Geht ja gar nicht, man soll alle Makel zeigen und beschreiben, wenn du das machst schauen die Deppen in der Kontrolle nicht mal auf die Bilder oder Beschreibung und lehnen es ab. Sind das Analphabeten oder was? Ich glaube die würfeln, und der Kundenservice ist unterirdisch, die geben keine Antwort oder es ist nicht ihre Abteilung, sagen sie leiten es weiter und dann hörst du nie wieder von denen.

Ich musste selber Zoll Gebühren zahlen für meine eigene Artikel, die Antwort von vestiare war: Diese Situation tut mir wirklich leid. Ich möchte Ihnen wirklich dabei helfen, aber dies ist der Prozess, den wir befolgen müssen, und wir können nichts anderes für Sie tun. Es tut mir noch einmal leid.

Customer service is not customer service. They take pride in being evasive and non committing in their answers. They actually make the experience of trying to resolve issues/concerns a frustrating and unpleasant experience. You come away feeling bruised and that you want nothing more to do with the platform. They are not interest in ind. sellers only big brands that are making them lost of money. They are not interested in helping new customers or in making the selling experience a user friendly one.

I purchased a pair of boots on here the brand was A.S.98 I receive the boots they looked great, but when I put them on the right boot, the leather was wrinkled and very noticeable, so I asked to have them returned. The company overlooked the boot, and said nothing was wrong so they re-posted them for me to sell them. I pacifically told them when they reviewed the boot to have someone put the boot on because if you do not put the boot on they look perfectly fine. They did not refund my money. They made me then sell a defective boot, I do not know how long it will take to sell the boot but I feel sorry for the person that buys them. The company is money, hungry and willing to sell a boot that is defective. I do not recommend this company whatsoever. I have now tried to contact them to speak to them they say they’re there, 24 seven every time I have reached out they are ignoring me about the situation , so I was stuck paying $266 for a boot that now is being sold defective. I would have posted the pictures of the boot, but they will not let me pull up the pictures no more on the site of the boot being defective. I’ve tried so think twice I read reviews thinking they were terrible reviews but I would still give it a shot now I am stuck in the situation to have to write a terrible review about them think twice before you buy make sure you look them over I didnt even know you could not see there was a problem with the boot until I put it on that’s the terrible part is you could not tell with the picture that’s why I asked them to have somebody put the boot on obviously they didn’t.

I sent a Burberry coat which had never been worn and was in perfect condition to a buyer in France. I am based in the UK. I packaged it really carefully and used the label supplied by Vestiaire. The buyer then refused the item saying that the pocket was torn. I know that it was not as I packaged it myself and even sent it in the original bag. They are now trying to send it back to me and DHL (the courier) are trying to charge me £200 for import duty!! What?? How can it be an import and also a return. It was a beautiful coat in mint condition and I am now being told it will be returned with a tear (and therefore unsellable) and I will need to pay the courier a fee of £200 for the pleasure. An absolute joke. A total scam company with no phone numbers. Will never use them again. Please beware and use other sites - this is a total scam!

The website is difficult to navigate, feedback is poor. Keep getting messages about my selling items. Clothes are expensive, so much more so than other sites. Don't bother with this one.

Terrible customer service! First, the (professional) seller has been ignoring me for 10 days now, and the customer service can’t do anything about it lol. Then, the customer service tells me that the discount code on 120€ off will be valid until 17 November (for another week) which turned out to be a lie because the discount expired at midnight while I was still waiting for the seller‘s response on my offer)!!! Now I have neither the discount, nor the offer from the seller (still not reply!!). I tried to reach to customer service to ask why they lied to me about the validity of the discount code and therefore deprived me of the opportunity to get the discount on the bag I’ve trying to buy now for 2 weeks, and they stopped replying!!! At least accept that you screwed up and lied to the customer. What is wrong with this platform? They track customer’s data (you activity what you put into favourites and your bag) and send them stupid FAKE notifications such as „the seller is ready to drop their price to X“ - don’t believe these messages because they are not true (I read about it and also know myself as the seller had rejected that price offer before that notification came in, so there is NO WAY „the seller is ready to drop their price to X“). They just try to make you anxious and purchase immediately! Don’t believe it. Not the first time I have terrible experience with Vestiaire Collective. If not this particular bag, I would have never returned to this platform.

Discard the positive reviews, most likely bots or Vestiaire workers, though I would be surprised if they can read or write. Frankly as a seller, do not trust these crooks with your items, you can show every flaw and mention it, the quality of their experts is that they will not read your review or look at the pictures and claim your listing is not compliant. When you have the direct sending, beware as tons of people then claim they have received something else or damage your item to force a return and Vestiaire will take their side. They lie to you that they will investigate, but the quality of their responses (not sure they are real people, it seems bots and they don't respond or respond to something else) is as poor as about everything else in that company. Sell on eBay, sell on Vinted, sell on JoliCloset or any other website, but don't give Vestiaire a commission, unless you enjoy dealing with a bunch of inept and crooked "people". As a buyer, how much do you trust an "expert" that can't read or write? Wouldn't be the first time they let fakes through or couldn't identify real items, just check out their reviews, you will find that the positive reviews are usually bland, most negative reviews give you information, don't rely on just this platform, check every other review platform, the fake praise reviews are the only reason why they aren't at the lowest level, at one point they were a company you could trust, it has changed, they are now a company who rips off buyers and sellers. Oh and Vestiare, how nice of you to employ the illiterate, but hey, don't call them experts
