We used to shop at Middlebrook store Horwich at least once a week, great for pet stuff, toiletries ,d.i.y .But nobody on tills ,they push you to self service which are basically rubbish,so easy to have something charged twice, anyway we have found Middlebrook B&M bargains have most of what we need and have proper till checkouts,so we'll continue to give Wilko a miss unless the properly manned tills return and suspect others will do likewise

Visited the Blyth, Northumberland store today, Saturday 16th October 2021 and received excellent customer service thanks to Gillian! I called in after seeing a triple pumpkin online but sadly the shelf where they were on display was empty. I approached Gillian to ask if Wilko would be getting any more in and Gillian went out of her way to help. It was so refreshing to encounter such a pleasant, helpful customer service assistant for a change! Gillian was clearly busy, but nothing was a trouble, she went to the other end of the store to check the stock and discovered that more stock of the item in question had just come in. I left Wilko a happy customer with my purchase knowing the little ones trick or treating with their parents will love the light up pumpkin I will have on display in my porch for Halloween. Many thanks Gillian :-) you are an asset to Wilko!!

In-store shopping at tills is horrible. Where are all the till staff that used to work in-store? Self serve is useless. Hate this shop now. No wonder customers get frustrated. Bring back till staff. Xmas is going to be a nightmare in this shop, so I will shop elsewhere with a more pleasant in-store experience.

Went to Norwich store and served by Dee. Excellent help as needed help to pack. Polite, fast and was also helping her colleagues with queries. She should be staff supervisor.

Went to the Llandudno branch to purchase paint. Unfortunately the paint I required was not on the shelf. So Wendy a member of staff went to search the stock room, although she didn't manage to locate the paint I needed instore, nothing seemed too much trouble for her and she did her best to help me, and checked stock at the next nearby store, I picked it up the very next day.

Wilco is a good chain of stores, you can find a lot of useful things. When we are in Britain, go there. We went with my husband in Leeds, entered one of the Wilco stores. The consultant approached me and said that any product can sell from this store at a lower price from a special warehouse. But without a check. His name is Natalia Abbasova. Address in the store, in my opinion, 47A Cross Centrality, LS15 8EU. We refused because we do not support fraudsters. After that, the incident was a sediment ... Now I do not want to visit your store. You can wait for the threat.

I used to really like Wilkos Stafford, they had some good products. The last few years its gone downhill. I no longer shop here. Self service tills are a waste of time, where is the role of customer service in this? One till worker and a long queue for cash only. The last few times I was there I noticed ridiculously high prices and less products. It's a waste of space. The staff are miserable too.

Waiting since May for my order and 4 months later I haven’t received anything. They keep delaying my order. They have confirmed my delivery date this morning and then cancelling my order a few hours later. Worst experience ever.

If you want to pay by card in Blackburn you have to use the self service. They had signs on tills saying cash only. This discriminates people. Not everyone wants to use the stupid self serve machines. As a society where we are classed as free citizens WE should decide if we reach a till that is keeping someone in a job, whether we pay by cash or card. Wilko's are going to lose customer's very quickly keeping this up. Bring back the service where humans are on tills. It's much quicker and incase the head honcho's of Wilko's don't realise, this is the way to force people out of the high street and shop online with cheaper companies or companies that have better service. Home bargains and b and m are my go to now. NO self serve, employing local people to serve on ACTUAL tills, much better for those who want to choose how to pay. NO discrimination for disabilities or the fact people just don't want self serve.

Since you have changed to self service tills in Blackburn store, it is a very slow process. Staff telling you that unless you are paying in cash you have to use the self service tills. There use to be a que but it was a quick process with well trained staff. Ended up putting my items back.

I needed help with the self service till in aldershot after making a minor error scanning and told the assistant standing there I had scanned the same item more than once by mistake then tried to void them, the way she spoke to me was completely over the top and unprofessional telling me in a raised voice in front of other customers ( you dont touch the void only I touch the void, you dont ever touch the void again you call me next time) all this in a raised voice in front of other customers. Needs to learn how to speak to people properly.

My husband was needing the use of wilko toilet in Swansea. He is 78 and takes water tablets. Thought that was a bit jobs worth. Maybe that's the company policy but I think exceptions could be made for the elderly.

Visited Wilko branch in Northallerton a few days after the 19 July. The lady behind the till instead to explain gently that wilko shop policy ask people to follow the old rules even if government give us FREEDOM to not wear mask, she was really really rude with me because I was not wearing a mask. And when I told her that I will not come back she answered it’s your choice and when I told her that I will write a review about this she answered fair enough. I’m working with customers too and I’m trying to be always nice and explain that what I’m asking them isn’t my fault but I need follow the policy of my company. If you are nice with customers and act in a polite way without making feel them as a criminal and wrong person you are always right. Wearing a mask now is my choice and you are nobody to make me feel wrong
