“I gave the watch 5 stars because it's a beautiful piece in every way and exceeded my expectations. However, if there had been an option for 4.5 stars I would have gone for it. The design of the strap buckle is not good and you should re-think it. The strap is very nice and matches up very well with the watch. However, the buckle doesn't sit flush against the strap and instead sort of sticks out at the edges. It's almost as if the buckle is upside-down. With that exception, the watch is amazing. It's retro in all the right ways and evokes the spirit of the great pilot watches from the past without overdoing it. I look forward to wearing it for many years.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the buckle. We are aware of the fact that in some cases the designed buckle is not comfortable for everyone.
Fortunately, there is something that we can do about it! We are meanwhile developing a new buckle for the Airain Sous Marine which is a normal single buckle. As soon as it is finished, it will be available for our customers and we will be happy to send you one of these so you can enjoy your watch to the fullest.

“So far the watch is great! I really like the size, look and feel of it, I did have to modify the strap because it was too long, but that was a simple fix. The winding action is OMEGA smooth, the pusher action is very precise and accurate, the chronograph/flyback hands stick just a little bit but will work better once in use more. Overall this watch is amazing and I'm glad I own one.”
“My first month with the new Airain Type 20
After unpacking the DHL parcel received by the end of June and admiring the optical aspects of the long awaited timepiece the moment of truth could begin. I filled the movement with power for the promised 60 hours and put the watch on my wrist. Yes, the look and feel were perfect and life with my new pilot‘s instrument took its course.
Looking back on the last four weeks I am happy to confirm, that I am fully satisfied by the looks, the functions, the accuracy and especially the most wearable size if the Airain 20. The only drawback I must mention, is the fact that my other classic watches are remaining untouched and risk to get rusty by the time🥴
