The machine works fine but the delivery took a reall long time. We orderd there most common machine and it took three weeks to get here.

I purchased a button maker (my second from ABM, so I'm a returning customer) and after I completed my purchase, I was contacted via email and informed that they didn't actually have the button maker in stock and that it would take 8 to 12 weeks for it to arrive. I purchased this for a Little League fundraising effort and by the time the machine arrives, the season will likely be over. The item listing should have said "Backordered." That it did not seems deceptive, especially for loyal customers working on time-sensitive projects. I kept the order rather than cancel it b/c the quality of my previous button maker is quite good, as is the quality of their supplies, but I am disappointed to not have the new maker when I really need it.

There are industry wide shortages on some of our items due to lack of availability of everything from the raw steel to workforce to the actual transportation to move product and materials where they need to go. We make it a priority to notify anyone who will be affected by a backordered product within 24 hours so we can advise them of alternative options available and help determine how the customer can best be served by us under the current circumstance. In this instance, it appears we notified you within 39 minutes of your placing the order. We have worked very hard to provide top level, dependable service for our customers since our inception and continue working very hard every day to try and get back to being able to provide the exceptional service our customers are accustomed to. The quality is good, but I had to take off severe points for the shipping costs. I had to order only the mylar it cost $15 to ship it to me. Nothing fancy, no rush, no overnight, just normal standard USPS and it cost more to ship it to me than the product itself. I shipped things so I weighed and calculated shipping and it shouldn't have been more than $4. What's worse is I live within 15 minutes of where the product is but as of 2020 they no longer allow it to be picked up. Unfortunately, I can't afford such an up charge on shipping costs so I I'm looking into other options.

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. We certainly understand shipping can be a concern these days and we are happy to help you with this. Our site is linked to UPS to calculate the shipping charge based on the size/weight of the package and your specific address. We do not charge based on the total cost of your products. The first pound of a shipment is where the bulk of the charge is so even small shipments can seem like a lot. UPS charges a surcharge for residential addresses and it would appear that you are shipping to a home address so that would come into play. We do advise that if you have a commercial address and you are not already using it, try shipping there. It will many times cut the cost pretty significantly for you. When using USPS, raw materials for button making must ship in a box, not an envelope, to avoid damage to the product as much as possible. Priority Mail service using a box is more expensive than an envelope, but it ensures you receive your product without damage. Any time you feel like there may be a mistake in the shipping cost shown on our site, please just contact us. We never mind investigating for you to make sure you are getting the best value for your money we can offer and we are always more than happy to help you.

Normally its fine, but the shipment is super slow and its halted my production on my store without materials.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. All of our button parts are steel and if for some reason the box becomes wet in transit or in the summer heat when changing temperatures it develops condensation inside, that can cause rust. I didn't see that you contacted our Customer Solutions Team about this but they will be contacting you to arrange for replacements of the damaged items. I'm not too fond of how you handling the shortage issue - & Pricing. You're in essence price gouging. I needed 1,000 buttons but you didn't have them but you would sell me batches of 250 but at the 250 quantity price not at the total quantity. I'm hoping the other company I bought 1,000 from works as they say and if they do, I know who has my back when it comes to being a supplier.

Thank you for sharing your feelings regarding the national product shortages on pinbacks. We only have the smaller packs available for immediate shipment due to supply chain challenges that are facing our industry. Our primary concern has been distributing pinbacks fairly and equally among our customer base. We are trying our best to not allow a small number of customers to corner the market. Our goal is to make sure the inventory we have can be shared with as many as possible so everyone can at least get a few. We have never experienced this type of pipeline issue in our 18 years of business. To help combat shortages, we are now offering un-pinned sets at a discount so end users can obtain parts much quicker and pin the buttons themselves to save time and money. We hope to resolve the pipeline issues as soon as possible. Please contact our Customer Solutions department if you have any thoughts on how we can improve our service for you.

Great customer service, good products and prices EXCEPT the shipping. I live local and can come and pick up the product yet still get charged for shipping. You are being very deceptive on the pricing, rather than having the price a bit higher you charge for shipping regardless which adds to the initial price.

As we are not a storefront but rather a shipping warehouse, we have made the decision to not allow local pickups at this time out of respect for our employees and their health. We value our team and both their physical and emotional well being and strive to provide an environment where they feel safe every day. We apologize for any inconvenience that may cause. As far as the cost, our system is directly linked to UPS to calculate the cost based on box size, weight and destination address. UPS does charge a surcharge for delivering to a residential address so shipping to a commercial address, if available, will save you on the cost. We made the decision to be transparent with our pricing and show the cost of the product and the shipping rather than inflate the cost of our products and advertise shipping as "free" on everything. Shipping cost varies according to the factors above and not everyone should pay the same price for it by having included in the product cost.
