“Lovely boots. Great quality, would definitely recommend these. I struggle sometimes, as I need a European size 42 and some companies say that a 41 is a size 8 when it’s not. Barebacks boots are a perfect size 8 for me, and really comfortable.”

“Very nice quality only problem was the Quebec are not suitable for slim calves so had to return. When enquired about another pair via email customer service told me to look at sizing - which do not state boot circumstances only length... Not helpful but very quick to refund without a problem.”

“Lovely boots. Sturdy, good leather boots. Already have a pair in black, now 3 years old ( need reheeling, but still fab.) Sized down this time which was good decision. These boots are comfortable, sturdy and waterproof. Good for all weather and outdoor activity. Another few outings and they'll feel like slippers!”

“Just purchased a pair of the Hudson Waterproof boots. Very pleased so far, first wear they were really comfy and needed no wearing in. Second day complete baptism of fire in a storm and wading through puddles. Lovely dry feet and cleaned up beautifully. I have to say a much better boot than some other more expensive ones around. My only small negative is the straps, I love them for the design but not the quickness of taking on and off but maybe just me. All in all excellent.”

“I haven't had these long but had been looking at them online for a while. They are as comfortable as they say and I think they look great. Since I received them, we haven't had any wet days - which is unusual - so I can't attest to how waterproof they are but everything else is fantastic!”

“Wow! Not only are the boots stunning (my partner absolutely adores them), everything about Bareback Footwear is top-notch. Firstly, upon delivery, I opened the plastic branded outer bag with a bit of skepticism, thinking, “Okay, this company is trying, but it might go downhill from here.” How wrong I was! The box, the way the boots are packaged (each in their own individual branded black cotton sacks) – everything exudes class. As a 52-year-old guy who isn’t the best at buying gifts (they’re usually a bit… suspect), opening this box made me think, “Bloody hell mate, you’ve nailed this.” I’m emotional. This has been my best purchase for my partner to date. I love this company! Bareback Footwear, if it weren’t for the fact that your boots will last for years and years, I’d be buying from you all the time. Well done!”

“The boots are lovely and comfortable but I chose to buy a pair of clearance or seconds and expected there to be scuffs or a wee bit of irregularity but unfortunately my pair weren't a pair! One boot is slimmer and darker in colour which is rather annoying but I'm keeping them and guessing once they're a bit muddy and worn I won't notice! I think next time I'd rather pay the extra £20 to have a true pair! So, disappointing but hasn't put me off the brand!”

“Just got my Quebec boots so early days but from first wear these boots were comfortable warm and waterproof. They look great and will be used daily for dog walking so will get wet and muddy all the time. I have the dubbin to treat them so hopefully fend off the worst that winter will throw at them.”
