BBC Maestro has wonderful and short but well-structured and positive courses to master a new skill, brush up on one you already have or learn useful things. I fully recommend this Platform for all ages and skills.

Love the ability to watch lessons 24/7 and be able to refer back as many times as I need.

Love Alan Moore's approach to storytelling and writing. I have learned a lot and I'm only a third of the way through his course. Wait to hear the one word you will probably never have the opportunity to use in your life!

Wonderful teacher- practical, entertaining. Good information and background to dishes/spices/ names/cooking techniques. Tried many of the dishes so far and they were excellent! I feel confident they will only get better with practice. Would take more courses from him!

I wanted an interest that I could learn from. After searching on line for hours, I continually returned to BBC Maestro. I committed to the total package so that I had much to read, view and learn. I have found it totally compelling. I guarantee there’s something for everyone even if you think you might only turn to a number of Maestro’s offerings, you’d be wrong. Watching, listening and learning from masters of their crafts - all names we all know - you’ll be forever hungry for more and you’ll hope the sessions never end. Broaden your knowledge base and exude confidence in many areas. Present as that knowledgeable individual. Forget the socks and scarfs for gifts. If not for yourself, gift Maestro to somebody special.

I have only subscribed to one BBC Maestro course - Tim Rice's course on writing for musicals. I subscribed to it because I am currently trying to write the libretto of a musical. I have enjoyed Tim Rice's course so far and have learned interesting facts about his career and experiences. He appears to be truthful and quite humble about his abilities, which has given me confidence. I will probably have more comments once I've finished the course.

I paid the annual subscription for BBC Maestro because I saw several ads saying that Helena Bonham Carter would be doing a course. My year is almost up, and her course is not on yet. They falsely advertised and swindled me.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with your BBC Maestro subscription. Unfortunately, sometimes scheduling difficulties and clashes with our Maestros means we're not always sure when we'll be able to launch the course. I understand you've been waiting for the Helena Bonham Carter course for almost a year and can only offer my sincere apologies for this. We'd be happy to issue you a refund for your subscription in this case, alternatively, we do have the amazing Brian Cox launching his course with us in December, which I hope you'd enjoy: https://www.bbcmaestro.com/courses/brian-cox/acting I look forward to hearing from you, Rebecca

I have taken several of the classes from beginning to end - The Lee Child writing class, the Jancis Robinson wine class, Mark Ronson's music production class and the Richard Greene public speaking class. I got value out of all of them, especially the writing class, which motivated me to write my first novel, now more or less finished. I also enjoy browsing the cooking classes for ideas. Up next for me are the Ken Follett and the Rankin classes. I subscribe to some other online video based classes, but BBC Maestro is the one that I keep coming back to. Well worth the investment of time and money.
