I started the course only recently, so I have many episodes yet to view. However, I am very pleased with the course so far. Ken Follett explains everything in a very clear way, and he is motivating and inspirational. It's a very good course. I am very much looking forward to the next episodes. Ken Follett speaks to the viewer as though he were a friend. Mr Follett is very pleasing to listen to. The course is informative.

BBC Maestro encourages and motivates me to think outside the box. With BBC Maestro, I can be and do anything I aspire to be. Today I want to write a bestselling book. Tomorrow I may want to cook a meal worthy of a five-star restaurant. Next week, who knows? What I do know, is that BBC Maestro can help me grow to unimaginable heights!

Insightful lessons from renowned experts, which you can keep and return to as often as you like. The icing on the cake would have been a chance to try out some creative writing for feedback.

I got to know BBC Maestro through Oliver Burkeman's Imperfectionnist posts. I personally find his course to be practically useful. The short video format is easy to fit into daily life. I have since watched Tim Spector's nutrition course, Dr. Rangan's four pillars of health and Richard Greene's public speaking course. They are all useful. I am currently watching Alan Moore's Storytelling course and find it inspiring. I also have not finished the Breathing course.

Direct, easy access, and not overly priced. It is good to hear one of the best authors explaining the technique.

Maestro 'Writing Poetry' is intimate, friendly and enlightening. For somebody who has written all their life, both professionally and for fun, it's a pleasure to find oneself guided by a voice of wisdom. Carol Ann Duffy is a gifted teacher and the BBC have created a perfect opportunity for people with many levels of familiarity with the subject. I attach the first poem I have ever written about my childhood. It's more fun than a video review.

Unlike other similar offerings from around the world, this is more than an endless stream of experts having a superficial chat. These are deep lessons from a carefully curated selection of elite teachers. Less is more. BBC does it again.

The video I watched w Harlan Coben was a fun refresher course for me. I had just gotten back to my thriller and am now inspired to make it even better.

Jonathan Yeo "chatting a bit" about his work. "Yeah it's nice to pick a subject that you have a reaction to". Is this it? Do you call this a "course"? I haven't learnt a single thing. Just heard some remarks that fall in the category of the bleeding obvious. And I'm now 60 pounds poorer. What a let-down.:-( Should have known not to expect anything from the BBC.

Bill Lawrence's comedy writing course is superb. Covering all the basics and wasting no time getting to the crux of what makes good comedy TV, this course comes in bite-size sections that guide you onwards and upwards. A feel-good course by a man renowned for feel-good television. What's not to like?

It’s such a brilliant learning platform. Jancis Robinson classes are short sweet and give me a great sense of understanding. Even after the first 3 classes I learnt a lot. It leaves me wanting to hurry up to the next one. It’s no nonsense and a great insight to the wine industry. I have bought the course for 3 friends too !!
