“So delighted I’ve signed up! The quality of the courses are amazing! I also love the notes you get to go over everything. I’m heading for course number 2 now! Such a good idea! Thanks BBC maestro!!!”
“I have been following the Professor Tim Spector's course, 'The Science of Eating Well'. The course is fabulous, well presented, full of information, very accessible and will be for me, life changing (I hope!).”
“I believe BBC Maestro is a collection of courses and speeches of top notch professionals who love to share their thoughts, knowledge and life experiences with other people. Even though I have already started my subscription and am taking a few courses so far, I am glad to have the privilege of accessing to a collection of genuine courses prepared by sincere and authentic group of experts in their field that am sure to help me expand my insights in every aspect of life.”
“A complete disappointment from start to finish. It begins with BBC Maestro not responding to any pre-sales questions at all. They promise "free lessons" to check out the quality of their content, but all you get it outright stupid self-advertisement of the lecturers that praise temselves.
It goes on with BBC not responding to inquiries for support at all. They claim that you have a limited window of cancellation time if you don't think their content is "for you", you get your money back. FINDING THAT option seems impossible - and since you never get any response, it feels basically untrue. You opt in and not out.
The courses I looked through are bottom quality. You get much better content for free on streaming platforms like YT. The "courses" aren't courses but feel like third-use of already recorded and published material and the content is superficial at best if not childish at times.
Example, and I am paraphrasing here, a lesson "how to read the room and make everyone listen to you in seconds" is the claim. The content is "you simply go into the room, read it and act so that everyone listens to you within some time, it is as simple as that." Lesson over.
Another, shortened, example: "How to sing a note better" - "you need to practice singing the note better, then you can sing the note better."
No support. Neither before sales nor after. No response. Insultingly simplistic content. No "money back" done easy and straight forward.
Stay away. Better buy courses on trustworthy platforms.”

“I love the presentation by Harlan Corbyn very comfortable chatting style. He makes me consider the things I have written and challenges some of the old cliches in writing. I am determined to get at it and finish this manuscript.”
“I signed up for the Harlen Coben talk but it's really just him taking about his books. I didn't find it very useful. I'm probably going to cancel my year subscription.”

“Really enjoying Simon Lycett’s floristry course & the Agatha Christie writing course. It was really interesting to get some insight into how the Agatha Christie course was made. The floristry course is engaging & colourful with loads of brilliant tips.”
“This series is great, well presented, clear, engaging and well paced. An excellent introduction to harnessing the power of the breath. A good follow on to the Presenter's book on the subject. Would strongly recommend.”
