There's a set of copious pdf notes backing up what is on the course. It's really good to be able to go back to any bits that you want to view again. “This is the first course I am doing here...and am blown away by how much I am enjoying it. Sir Tim is awe-inspiring!! I am not even halfway through the course yet - but am impatient to inform that I feel very enthusiastic about watching the videos and reading the course notes. Iconic clips like The Circle of Life included in one of the videos made me feel so nostalgic, it brought tears! It transported me to the light-filled African jungle in one instant!

How nice if this had been a face-to-face course where one could actually ask questions and have a meaningful and helpful chat with the Maestro. Maybe one could get somewhere even at an older age :)

“The courses are full of really good material and they are delivered by people you feel you know as they are in public life. They are easily accessible, have all the notes you need provided and you can go at your own pace. If you don't understand something you can go back over a module again. I can't praise BBC Maestro enough as the idea behind what they are doing is excellent for so many people and I do feel it gives my life an extra dimension and shows me new possibilities which is very encouraging. If you are expecting a step-by-step guide on how to complete tasks such as writing a novel then buy some good books. These courses are full of titbits, the secrets if you like, gained from a lifetime of knowledge in the subject. Ken Follet is an absolute master of his craft and it shows, as are others I've taken. You will need a pen and paper by your side to record initial ideas gained from the courses then you can use that to influence your work.
Can't wait to start on the rest. An absolute steal for the asking price. One course is worth the price of a subscription and I can't recommend BBC Maestro too highly.”

“I bought a course from the platform that I found interesting. It indeed was very useful and it was worth it. But there are a couple of things that would make BBC Maestro an even better experience:
-Consider including subtitles from other languages, at least those that are more spoken like Spanish and French. My English is good enough for the course, but I had to doble check the meaning of some words from time to time. Having subtitles in other languages available would make the platform more accessible to other regions.
-The price might be a bit high. I was lucky enough to buy the course during the new years offer, and the deal was good, so I paid a reasonable prize. But the general pricing without any offers applied is a bit expensive in my opinion.
