“I've started the Maestro course featuring James Nestor. He's a splendid presenter. The Maestro setup is very user-friendly. The lessons are easily accessible. There's a set of copious pdf notes backing up what is on the course. It's really good to be able to go back to any bits that you want to view again. I am really pleased that I bought this Maestro course.”
“I have really enjoyed the Bertinet bread making course and have made some really good loaves. Just plain white so far but I feel confident I can make the other things too now. Very exciting new world to enter.”
“I love BBC Maestro, it has lectures on all the subjects I am interested in. From nutrition to art/creativity. Best Christmas present I could have given myself.”
“This is the first course I am doing here...and am blown away by how much I am enjoying it. Sir Tim is awe-inspiring!! I am not even halfway through the course yet - but am impatient to inform that I feel very enthusiastic about watching the videos and reading the course notes. Iconic clips like The Circle of Life included in one of the videos made me feel so nostalgic, it brought tears! It transported me to the light-filled African jungle in one instant!
I feel like the Musical Theatre milieu is where I should have been all my life, (but wasn't, alas!)
How nice if this had been a face-to-face course where one could actually ask questions and have a meaningful and helpful chat with the Maestro. Maybe one could get somewhere even at an older age :)
Hats off to Tim Rice for all the wonderful work he has done and the way he is delivering the course - I am impressed.
Thank you BBC Maestro!!”
Hi Aaiyan,
Thanks for your feedback. I can see our customer support team got in touch to resolve this for you, and it looks like you recently upgraded to an annual subscription, so hopefully your issues are resolved.
We hope you're enjoying BBC Maestro and would love to hear what you think of the courses :)

“The courses are full of really good material and they are delivered by people you feel you know as they are in public life. They are easily accessible, have all the notes you need provided and you can go at your own pace. If you don't understand something you can go back over a module again. I can't praise BBC Maestro enough as the idea behind what they are doing is excellent for so many people and I do feel it gives my life an extra dimension and shows me new possibilities which is very encouraging. Thank you to all the contributors and thank you to BBC Maestro. You won't regret having a go I can promise you!”
“I watched my first BBC Maestro course about The Power of Breath by James Nestor. The content was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. James, the creator and presenter, was excellent and engaging. I look forward to enjoying more courses, and continuing to benefit from my first.”
“Inspiring, informative, educational, confidence boosting, I now have put the wheels into motion with the step to step guide, I feel very confident that I can and will make a success of my brand/business after listening to Stephen.”
“I have done three courses so far, two on writing and one on nutrition. The courses are well structured and packed with information. If you are expecting a step-by-step guide on how to complete tasks such as writing a novel then buy some good books. These courses are full of titbits, the secrets if you like, gained from a lifetime of knowledge in the subject. Ken Follet is an absolute master of his craft and it shows, as are others I've taken. You will need a pen and paper by your side to record initial ideas gained from the courses then you can use that to influence your work.
Can't wait to start on the rest. An absolute steal for the asking price. One course is worth the price of a subscription and I can't recommend BBC Maestro too highly.”
“Love Carol Ann Duffy's presence something about her makes me want to pay attention and complete the assignments. That said stopped lessons at 7 do to life overload looking forward to starting over at lesson 1 when calm and able to do my best.”
“A whole library of different learning options, much cheaper than adult education classes (if there are any running in your area) Lively, well presented”
“Maestro isn't just an online learning platform; it's a portal to the minds of absolute titans! Forget dry lectures and dusty textbooks - here, legends like Brian Cox unveil the secrets of acting alchemy, Gary Barlow dissects the anatomy of a hit song, and Billy Connolly unlocks the treasure chest of comedy.
Think Hogwarts for adults, with world-renowned experts as your eccentric, passionate professors. Each course is a masterclass in itself, meticulously crafted to ignite your inner spark, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned enthusiast.
The 4K visuals are so stunning, that you practically feel the heat from Marco Pierre White's oven or the thrill of Edgar Wright's storyboard.
And the cherry on top? Downloadable course notes, packed with tips, tricks, and insights, ensure your learning extends far beyond the screen.
Maestro isn't just about acquiring skills; it's about igniting passions. It's a shot of creative adrenaline, a backstage pass to the workshops of genius. So, ditch the self-help gurus and join the ranks of the Maestro-trained.
Who knows, you might just find your own inner maestro waiting to be unleashed!”
“I bought a course from the platform that I found interesting. It indeed was very useful and it was worth it. But there are a couple of things that would make BBC Maestro an even better experience:
-Consider including subtitles from other languages, at least those that are more spoken like Spanish and French. My English is good enough for the course, but I had to doble check the meaning of some words from time to time. Having subtitles in other languages available would make the platform more accessible to other regions.
-The price might be a bit high. I was lucky enough to buy the course during the new years offer, and the deal was good, so I paid a reasonable prize. But the general pricing without any offers applied is a bit expensive in my opinion.
These are my suggestions.
Thank you.”
