“I contacted the store before my order to ask what colour shelves would compliment my mantle which I previously ordered from Ben Simpson. I had a very helpful reply back in no time at all. My shelves were delivered earlier than expected and they are fantastic! I am really pleased with them, they are a beautiful new addition to my home.”

“Easy to order, well packed, exactly as described and arrived within 3 working days of order. I would have awarded five stars if not for the issues listed below. 1) Shelves with inverted brackets could only be supplied in one depth due I assume to only having one size of inverted brackets. 2) I thought a little expensive for stained softwood but maybe I am out of touch with prices.”

“The website was very clear and easy to order. Acknowledgement of the order was quick and I was kept informed about timescale, when the package had left and when it was to be delivered. The shelves and brackets are absolutely lovely, great craftsmanship and stained beautifully. Would recommend these shelves to anyone.”

“Having purchased a shelf previously from Ben Simpson, which I was very happy with, decided to get another one, the second one had a split all the way through it, I contacted Ben Simpson, and sent pictures of the split ,they said it was a natural part of the wood, which I’m sure it is , but i would of thought it would of been checked before sending it out to a customer, they did say I could return it for a replacement, but I felt the cost of returning such a heavy item at my expense would be to much, so I have kept it. I was disappointed this time , as the previous shelf was beautiful.”
